I work at a Wastewater Treatment Plant in the US. I started watching these drain video because I found someone else whom hates wipes with as much passion as i do.
Tbh I don't have one of those water fountain toilets, and our society made fun of them for a long while but it seems like wipes are a huge waste of fiber and just.. bad for everyone and everything involved in sewage and wastewater
We use wipes at our house (USA) but we NEVER flush them. Little poop bags for dog clean up at the park work fine and no smell!
You can buy a gentle cleansing spray which you use on toilet paper, much better and biodegradable too. No blockages and good for the environment. We need to ban toilet wipes. People are convinced they break down and can be flushed!,, THEY ARE NOT!,, BAN. THE WIPE
As written before, only 3 things go into the toilet: Paper, Poop, and Pee.

As what jem would say ''' watch the car it's not a play area '' LOL, i remember this one, jem said the levels on these drains were bad to the point where they'd have regular blockages especially with the amount of wipes they flush down the toilet, overall well done on the unblock, to be continued..... (you'll get called out again on this one no doubt) LOL, in the second video, that wall reminds me when jem said he fell over a wall and andy started whistling humpty dumpty LOL, that would have been a good go pro moment LOL, well done on the unblock jem, onto the next one 👍

I have to admit after watching this I no longer flush my wipes I didn't realise they caused such a problem.
Yeah, no matter what they say on the package, there's no such thing as wipes that won't clog a drain. :P
Wait. Wipes is just a different word for toilet paper right? Where do you put that if you don't flush it?
@@KeaveMindNo. wipes are those wet rags that say they are flushable but they don’t break down easily in water and they hook on any drain irregularities.

It's false economy flushing wipes as it ends up more expensive if you have to get the drain unblockers out on a regular basis.
It's also not environmentally friendly either.

So in America some home's have septic tanks ,when full a large truck comes and with a massive pump pulls the stuff out into a tank on the truck, then it is taken for processing, and made into all kids of products,one said it even become lipstick ,Uch!

i have absolutely no knowledge about pipes so my ideas probably come from ignorance but I always wonder: why do you let all the stuff just go down the next pipe? I feel like it would just get stuck again in another part of the system. Wouldnt it be better to suck off the blockage issue? Remove the blockage instead of moving it along?

So the system in the first video isn't only a dental office but residential as well? Knowing that how can the buildings owners not be forced to repair the gradient problem with the sewer lines?
If the fact is the system works and only when "wipes" are thrown into the toilet it would be the renters advantage not to flush wipes unless they enjoy a backed up sewer system?
Either way it seems as if a problem exists if the Unblockers are there opening the system up regularly that code enforcement needs to be involved. Seemingly it would be much easier if the renters would be proactive to stop this problem until repairs can be made.
I have seen where renters think having this problem over and over in some way makes them not responsible of monthly rent paid. A court or landlords can grant this but many steps need to be tried, failed and documented before something such as this is reached. .
The last conclusion is just that,, and only stated from knowledge of similar tenant/ landlord problems that boiled down to issues in rental properties with simple steps to stop issues from occurring. In most of those cases it was found that repairs were made and in others the simple precautions that renters were asked by the landlord(s) were ignored, and at times acts that caused said incidents to increased, until the end outcome was to have the property vacated until fixed.

Seen that Dentists before on here . Think if it were mine I'd change because they are obviously not very hygienic just continuously flushing wipes down toilet ,then just having drains unblocked, instead of having the common sense to sort it. Place must stink .
