Was waiting for this one. I feel like BdC smells better but it lacks greatly in projection, other than wearing it in professional settings i dont see much more use for it, while DS EDP is much more versatile
This video just made my day bcz I'm new to this fragrance world and today I have purchased bleu de Chanel and after watching this video I think that I have made a great decision.
It really is the better of the two both scent wise and quality wise. The only problem is that the Bleu de Chanel tends to not perform as well as the Sauvage line does. Perhaps Chanel will come out with a Bleu Elixir as Sauvage has done which is so powerful it last days on your skin. We can only hope.
@@winnienguyen4420 I've recently bought BdC Parfum (already have the EDT and EDP) and I have to say the Parfum performs very well on my skin! Sometimes I don't smell it anymore, but people ask me 6-8 hours later what I'm wearing, since they can easily smell it from distance
Also by the way I love both ,but Bleu EDP just smells so much classier and the customers that purchase BDC vs the customers who purchase Sauvage at the fragrance counter I work at at Dillards tend to be more wealthy looking business men vs the guys that purchase Sauvage who look like thugs or are just high school teenagers. That rule doesn't apply to Sauvage Elixir though. My BDC customers tend to purchase Elixir after they smell or test it.
BDC is more professional but thats the problem.. if you're not in a professional setting there's not many other places to use it since the projection is so lacking
I saw lots of helpful comments from you. May I have your opinion on picking a versatile fragrance for men please? I’m 22 years old and I am wondering Y EDP, BDC and ADG Profumo. Thank you a lot for reading my comment. Wish you the best.
Bleu edp every time my favorite. I think the Sauvage tests side by side seem to be more towards the younger person. Always interesting to compare. But Chanel is the classic.Anybody close up does not want to be blasted with a strong perfume. So Bleu everytime for evening, dinner and Allure for after sport for its strong lemon fresh aroma on a hot body. Got to test on the skin though. All skin types alter the nose of Perfumes. Air tests in my opinion miss sell a fragrance.. That's why I never use sticks. Or the classic Channel pour men for a softer fragrance..
You've got to get the EDP version it isn't redundant at all. Just a stronger more masculine version of the original masterpiece. If it lasted longer it would be the best men's designer fragrance on the market.
Bleu de Chanel smells kinda better, sweeter, less abbrasive and aggresive. On the other hand Sauvage performs better and has more masculinity to it. Although both are very versatile, Bleu is better for a business environment or house occassions for example while Sauvage is better for a night at the clubs and dates.
I have both, and both are awesome and at the top of the game for a reason, the BDC feels more elegant and refined in my opinion but both are premium and get the same job done
I watched another Vid with these 2 Battling it out & Savage won 12 to 11. I'm so torn on which one to get, blind buys. Never smelled BDC but my son came home with Savage on a few weeks back & it was the greatest sent that ever went up my nose!!! Is BDS Musky? I cannot stand Musk???
Forget Dior Sauvage, L'Homme Intense, Spicebomb, YSL Y, Acqua di Gio, Le Male, The One, Aventus, L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme, Bentley Silverlake and Azure or Explorer - THIS is the ultimate masculine freshie. I'm sure scent snobs turn up their noses at this because it's perceived as generic and undoubtedly has been worn to death but Bleu is a frag every man should have in their collection. It is every man's birthright. That perceived "mediocrity" is in fact one of this frag's greatest strength's - it makes Bleu timeless and one of the all-time greats.
I have both, and I can tell you that BDC EDP garners more compliments than Sauvage. Don’t get me wrong as I think they’re top fragrances, but BDC has the edge over Sauvage, imo.
Man, those two are like completely equal to me. Both aquatics that smell amazing in the heat. That would be a very difficult choice. If it was Profumo instead of Profundo I'd immediately choose the Profumo, but what you asked for is a very difficult situation.
Curly Scents actually did that already and the EDP ended up winning by a fairly large margin. I'd like to see Elixir battle the rest of the Sauvage line if possible.
@@winnienguyen4420 Curly Scent is in Boston and these guys are in Germany so the answers will be different. I think they might have done this comparison already anyway.
@@winnienguyen4420 i blind bought elixir and now it makes me feel sick whenever i smell it. too strong and like nutty. i dont even know how to describe. it. what do you think of it?
@@AG-ql1sy sorry I'm just getting back to you. As far as Elixir goes it has a very strong similarity to Drakkar Noir which my father wore religiously in the 90's and has a slight undertone of the regular Sauvage DNA. I can understand why some people may not like it, but I actually think it's pretty damn good. On top of that performance is up there with some of the strongest niche fragrances. If I were you I'd at least give it a chance. You will be surprised by how much positive attention you receive from it even if you don't particularly care for it. Even then you can still easily resell it. My husband purchased a used bottle for about $90 and it was basically full.
Bitte A nach links und B nach rechts und das dann beibehalten. Nicht nach Zufalle immer wieder ändern. Das ist sonst total verwirrend, wenn man mehrere Videos hintereinander anschaut.
Parfum version is great scent wise, but the problem is performance. It's not cheap and when people purchase it 9 times out of 10 they experience horrible performance. That's definitely not good for a fragrance in that uppety price range particularly when they could get Sauvage Elixir for the same price and it lasts days on your skin even though showers. If Bleu Parfum had the same performance as Sauvage it would probably be the best designer on the market.
I love seeing all the top fragrances battle it out, it's nice to know what the ladies think. Great videos 👌
thank you very much 🙏

I think they are both versatile but the price to performance ratio for the BDC is appalling.

Good job guys, that was a great battle of two superstars! I'm happy BdC won, as I think it smells much better and classier than Sauvage 😎

It really does. If only it performed as well as the Sauvage fragrances.

On my skin the EDP seems to have the worst performance..
I love Bleu de Chanel a little more but the thing is, Sauvage edp has an amazing sillage. The way it smells in the air is way better than on the skin.
If the Bleu EDP had the same performance as Sauvage I believe it would be the best designer men's fragrance on the market.

I've been asking for Elixir forever.
Dior sauvage edp in the air smells so smooth idk how to explain it but it's addicting.
Bleu de chanel edp is the best💥💥💥
Sauvage is loud, but good, but BDC is just an all around more rounded fragrance.
I'm prefer BDC....
Bdc is good but sucks at projection that’s where savauge comes in to play
Love your videos keep up the great work and videos
Can't beat the king but still love Sauvage EDP the most of all the Sauvages.
