Sauvage eau de parfum will smell similar to the original EDT while the elixir is much more different.
Both projects better than the newer 2021-2022 EDT batches but I think the Elixir projects better !

@@timothyhergert4199which makes it last longer. When the EDT first came out. It was the beast, now the elixir is. The EDT is still a fair choice, it still lasts long, but it’s not the beast that it used to be.
I'd like to see battle between Versace Pour homme, Chanel Allure homme sport and Missoni Wave. They all are pretty similar, but Wave is more like mix of the two.
Definitely the best versus on whole youtube... Gonna get elixir right now my brothers...

Elixir will win by far although they smell similar.
Basically one of the best performing fragrances on the market, Elixir, vs one of the worst performing fragrances on the market, Parfum.....

It’s not always about performance. Parfum stays long on my skin. It just doesn’t project like Elixir.
I own both plus the EDP and I use the Parfum for cooler weather… and inside events.
I’ll use Elixir (which I like a bit better) for cooler weather too… but for being out and about, errands and outside.
The battle wouldn’t be to see which performed better, Winnie, but to see which one smelled better.
Sauvage Parfum is excellent. It’s different but I would rate it as good as Elixir.
In definitely going to get another bottle of this. I know the early batches for this fragrance are going to be very valuable in 10 years.

EDP is beautiful but EDT is sublime! Have not smelled Elixir yet.

The lady that said the edp is more for an old man has it wrong. I feel like the elixir is more for an older man and the edp is more for men in there 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.

I will not recommend anyone to blind buy elixir, it is a weird smell and as many people love it you will find many people hate it a lot and im one of them, i just dont like the smell of it, it is not a safe fragrance you could meet a girl that hate it, but with edp it is safe and you cant find someone who hate it.

I don't really believe that Elixir is equally liked to EDT. Elixir is too dark and strange for the vast majority, me included and I have more than 30 fragrances...

I have the EDP and it doesn't last long at all. Very weak in performance.
the edp lasts like 10 hours on skin it’s very long lasting but get elixir either way better in every aspect and it lasts around 15 hours

I've been smelling both for the past month and I used to say Elixir was its own thing but they are actually pretty similar. Elixir is more spicy and tingly with more sandalwood. It's bubbly like a coca cola where as edp is more creamy. Other than that its the same dna. I love Elixir though - it completes and masters the dna. The Sauvage line was meant to be spicy and sweet imo- the original edt just doesnt make sense to me- like who wears pepper in the warm weather?
They both have the same DNA but the Elixir's drydown smells completely different to the others in the line

Dior Sauvage is overrated. It's not special at all. If I had to rate it it'd be a 6.5/10
It's like McDonald's to me. Not really overrated but if you wear it you are just saying you are an NPC who can't pick a different smell.
