What flavor of gelato did you get? I use Dior Sauvage EDT for the daytime/work scent & the EDP for evenings/suited-up scent. I haven't tried the Parfum, yet. I'm a completionist so I'll probably get it for the collection.

I think the edp is more versatile, it can also used in winter and fall but the edt version is more suitable for summer in my opinion but both of them crazy, love the sauvage
I got parfum and EDP. The parfum lasts on me all night at work and all the ladies smell at work and compliment me saying I smell amazing. Only 2 sprays does the job

I liked the EDT more when I was at Sephora, but after a while the EDP tester smelled better when I got home. Went ahead with the EDP and it’s the most complimented fragrance so far. It also has some of the best projection and longevity for my skin. Amazing product to be honest.
im 30 and i do plan on getting the edp also, well it was really good the sample and just the EDP seemed better and my gf really likes that too so it would be good to get the bottle and then go with elixir
I have the EDT and EDP versions. Regarding the aroma, I personally like the EDP version more, but this is not important because it can be subjective. But, regarding the presentation, I see some opinions that puzzle me. In practice, EDT has an unnecessarily strong and annoying projection, which can be offensive to some people, but its longevity is significantly shorter, about 8 hours. After a rough projection after about 3-4 hours, the aroma remains close to the skin and by the end of the working day, it is no longer felt. The situation with the EDP version is different. It is designed more moderately, but on the other hand, lasts 12 hours, depending on the conditions, maybe more. It is fresh, but unlike EDT, it is more complex, dark, develops very nicely and feels clear throughout the day. So, my personal impressions about the presentation definitely make the EDP a favorite.

Funny, I really like the EDT, and I kinda hate the EDP; it's too powdery. The Parfum smells almost exactly the same as the EDT, to me, just a bit fuller and smoother
I use Sauvage Parfum now after using years of Eau de Parfum. The Parfum is much more punchy. I never use Eau de Toilette because it does not last all day, you have to put clearly more. The Parfum top note are spicy, bergamot and mandarin. I literally fall in love for the Parfum. Greetings from France 🇫🇷
I don’t think they’re super comparable - EDT is a Swiss knife, mass pleasing fragrance EdP is a night out, spicier iteration of the dna - more in the vein of a Dylan blue aquatic touch Parfum is to me a masterpiece with the best dry down of the trio. It is not a formal scent and it is not a summer scent. It is a fall, winter scent that is meant as a signature. Not intended to attract as de EDT, this one is more of a rugged, cabin in the woods, resinous version of this dna. Not necessary to own the three - it just depends where you want to use this dna.
I'm not surprised. In fact, I was telling myself, upon looking at the title, it will be a close tie between the EDT & EDP with little to no hope for the Parfum. Also, like the comment I left on your other video...I smelled the Parfum at Macy's, and couldn't have been more disappointed. Again, if you have Eau de Parfum, you don't need the Parfum. I think this video will be the definitive proof for two things. 1 - that the Parfum doesn't compare, and 2 - that neither the EDP or EDT is better...they're both good; so just buy them both.
Mmmm something tells me that it's all about first impressions. Aside the lost girl who chose the Parfum, and how you alternated the order of the testing papers, all the other women choose the first concentration they smelled.
Ive noticed this myself... i try two different scents and my nose always picks the first whiff, its as if it loads up the olfactory senses and the 2nd scent never gets the full attention. Cause ive switched it up after a few mins and my nose pics the 1st whiff time after time
On skin and clothes I must say Parfum smells the best and got me the highest amount of compliments. EDP is also nice. EDT sucks in parameters department.

I have both but on my skin EDP has not that far out EDT projection, in fact EDP projection on me it is just moderate, first hour and a half then gets close to skin until 10th hour it dies completly and its longevity almost same as EDT, maybe max 1 hour more than EDT. Anyways to me EDT is better deal $ but it is a matter of taste too because EDP is more nature, calmdown and not that youthful as EDT. Nevertheless I have both and I don't regret.
@@dzdz773 On my skin easy 2 hours of loud projection then gets one meter around me for the next hours then on 6th hours starts to get close to skin until 9 hours and some more its gone almost, with one spray each side of my neck and one on my back neck that's to say 3 sprays total but well strong pressed sprays. But if you double spray, you will be reactive nuclear beast projection😂😂😂😂
Back in the day I didn't like the EDT. Now I own the EDP and the Very cool spray (VCS). I really like them. These two are my favorite Sauvage flankers: EDP for spring and fall, VCS for summer. In winter I wear my beloved Spicebomb extreme. That's an alluring package, curly Andy 😍.

All 3 are great, it all comes down to personal choice IMO parfum is the best and I get the most compliments because of its sweetness and it lasts the longest on clothes sometimes a week, it’s naturally one that girls like however comparing these is like comparing Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson they are both goats it comes down to preference
EDT has always been the best in my opinion. I was hugely disappointed with the Parfum. Seemed weaker and noting new, yet I still managed to overspray it in the store testing it and upset my family. Absolutely nothing new and trying to cash in on the first 2.

I was also surprised by the lack of love for the parfum. It’s my favorite out of the three and my fiancé likes the parfum for me as well. At the same time though a lot of the women seemed fairly young and I think the parfum version does have a mature quality to it. The eau de parfum didn’t really do much for me when I smelled it. For me it’s the parfum first, original Sauvage second, and then the eau de parfum.
Really, it was the complete opposite for me...EDP for sure #1, then EDT and the parfum was way down the bench in a distant 3rd. At the store, we had some girls smell all 3 and no one liked the parfum.
I use to have EDT and I like the fresh smell that last 2 hours but I hated the dry down it smell to synthetic.Now I own EDP and smell a bit less fresh but way better the dry down 👍🏼
EDP is my favorite, too; EDT is not for me either, and the Parfum is not worth it. But I have one more favorite: Sauvage Very cool spray. It's really nice (zesty and less harsh than the EDT) and has become one of my summer staples.
I went to a perfume shop today and I tried the 3 of them. I preferred the EDP. Got home and look for a video and I found this one. You can't imagine how much I've jumped up and all excited that EDP won 🤣🤣🤣.
This is a very telling survey. The three different Sauvages smell differently on paper than on skin. The edp smells the best on paper but on skin it has a lot of contrasting smells. For me it's edt > parfum > edp. Sauvage's formula is the best in the edt form and the parfum is a well balanced version of Sauvage.
If I had to pick in order (with the thinking the EDT is warmer weather EDP is cooler weather and Parfum strictly winter/autumn) it would be EDT>Parfum>EDP. Regardless of what people think the EDT smells great and lasts in the summer heat which counts these days. The EDP just doesn’t do it for me. If it’s best for say Autumn there’s many others I’d rather pick than the EDP. Have a sample of the Parfum doesn’t blow me away but I do like it. Not as beastly projection as the EDT but the Parfum lasted on my skin for about 15 hours and I can turn anything into a skin scent. That stuff lasts.
The simplicity and clarity in ur video and video and sound recording quality is just ausumm.....U just make it simple...let the people review first and then curly scents will review...
I haven’t tried the edt yet but I got both parfum and edp. But from my experience i do understand why people underestimate the parfum and jump quickly to the edp...and I had felt the same when I bought the perfume, I sprayed it over me and I was that it!!! Didn’t smell anything was almost disappointed until it dried down and boom 💥 you can now feel it start get compliments even from men. For me the edp have a strong and better opening but parfum have strong projection
I love EDP. That stuff is really sexy. But I really have to say that the less talked about Very Cool spray is actually my favorite from the collection and performs better than any of them!
EDP is always the best when it dries down. the first top notes is too peppery and spicy maybe its not for people who like the opening. but EDP is definitely the best for me. and i own both
Well, I've been wearing EDT ever since it's release, and I still have a little bit of that original formula left, although I am halfway done with 2nd 100ml bottle and I've gotta say: Eau De Toilette is the best out of the three for me, and my SO loves it as well, so it's a keeper. I do not like EDP version at all, it just doesn't smell right? to me. However, I've smelled Parfum few days ago and I was surprised at how different that smell is. It doesn't smell like EDT nor EDP, it has this oriental vibe to it. I really liked it and if I didn't have half of the EDT left, I'd consider buying it over EDT. Really nice fragrance.

im 31 and i liked the parfum the best but im not trying to attract alof of people to me or be loud i mean if i wanted to do that id go with luna rossa carbon, but i did like the EDP also but the parfum the most, im the kind of guy where i wanna be hidden and not announced and loud and the edt is what everyone and their mother is wearing, i wanna wear stuff that few know about but not alot, but at the same time im wearing something like chanel allure homme sport. No lie, I like the EDT better due to it being lighter on the nose , but I chose the EDP because I heard the EDT doesn’t last that long and I wanted something that will last on my skin for awhile. Just a good 1-3 spray and you good to go on that EDP. When i first smelled it, I thought it was like an ordinary fragrance, nothing special. That was until after a few minutes it showed why it’s so popular and the best seller and it even lasted till the next day on my wrist Story time: Went to the mall one day and was looking for some new fragrance since I’ve used the same one since middle school (I used Jimmy choo oil, A great fragrance for daily activities and special occasion.) I’m currently a high school graduate class of 2020, so I wanted something new. I stumbled upon the dior sauvage EDP and wasn’t blown away at first until it dried down and the smell was amazing. It’s not entirely special, but you’ll definitely get some compliments. I didn’t get it at that moment and got Hugo Boss United because I remember me and my mom smelling that in New york and we both loved it. I purchased it and it came with a soccer ball and a smaller bottle for only $75. Once I got home i kept smelling it on my wrist ever since I sprayed it and even smelled it the next morning. I was excited to go to work and have a new scent, but the scent wasn’t noticeable unless you’re directly smelling my neck. I did noticed that the Boss fragrance didn’t smell like my wrist when I first applied it, I just assumed it needed time to dry down. I looked at some more fragrance on youtube while i was on my lunch break and my top choices were dior sauvage, Dylan blue, Acqua di gio, bleu de chanel, and Burberry, couldn’t add Creed to my list because of the pricing at the moment, My dad has it and it’s really good, thought it was an ordinary cologne till the dry down. (Never smelled burberry nor Bleu de chanel just yet, but heard they were good. My stepdad had Burberry and my ma didn’t like it. I only heard about it from a friend.) After work I went to Macy to smell some more cologne and come to find out, EDP was what I smelling on my wrist the whole time. Somehow it overpowered the boss fragrance. I got to smell all three version of the sauvage and loved them all but I liked the EDT the best but heard it doesn’t last as long as the EDP and it gets more compliments. Of course Macy was sold out of it and only had the sample ones, so i took a quick trip to Jcpenny and went to the sephora section and purchased the EDP and love it and the women I have conversations with love it too. I am more than satisfied with my purchased Boss united is a good fragrance, love the smell, but it’s not really strong and doesn’t last too long on me, it possible because of my body chemical.(it’s probably something I give to my 13 year old brother if i heard he was hanging out with a girl he likes and just spray it on him 10 min before he goes.) Boss united or EDT may last longer on some people than others since our body reacts differently to fragrance. I just may purchase the EDT in the near the future and give it test run to see how it holds up. However I’m not a 100% sure if this can beat my Jimmy Choo. Jimmy choo is in its own league and has something special to it and will also be a major go for me when in doubt
@@fallenafterling4128 it basically says how much concentrated perfume oil you have in the bottle and how long it wil last. Perfume have the most concentrated perfume and will last the longer after that you have edp(edu de perfume) and least you have edt (edu de toilette)
Wow, literally no love for the Parfum version :o I actually really enjoy that one, its longevity on me is amazing. But it's rather a more mature fragrance for me that I personally only wear to the office or when I wear a suit or something. It definitely has vibes of Bleu de Chanel EDP/Parfum.

I've got the edp and enjoy it occasionally just for myself when I'm in the right mood. I tried the Parfum on a tester strip in Birmingham Airport on Wednesday. Its now Friday, I'm in Cyprus and the tester strip in my bag is noticeable when I return to the room. That ain't bad performance by any means.
My mom smelled the edt on me and the perfume. When I put the edt on she said the following words: “if you don’t know it’s from Dior you could say that’s if from a much cheaper brand: too soapy and too strong” . When I wore the perfume she asked what I was wearing I said Dior again but this time the perfume version. She liked that better. More subtle, less soapy and more manly. I like it also better. After a few days of edt I got tired of the smell fast.
The best fragrance trilogy is Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense and Dior homme Parfum. Dior had the chance to make Dior sauvage parfum something special but fell at the last hurdle. I have the EDT and edp and both do what they were intended to achieve successfully. I've tested the parfum and it's underwhelming. You review and approach was excellently executed and presented. I can't wait for you to get to 10k subscribers as you deserve it and more
True statement. EDT is softer so its best for summer but EDP is stronger so is best for cold weather. Either way I say put what you like who cares about seasons, enjoy it for yourself.

I just bought the EDT right before I watched this (I had this one before so that’s why I got this version) but it’s good to know the EDT and the EDP were about equally favorable. Just bought EDT and am a bit disappointed it doesnt last as long as I want it to, compared to my other brands, the scent is good though, I will probs have to try EDP as well
You don't spray a edp and smell it right away. This is why the edt is winning. The Parfums need few hours to dry and settle on ur skin/cloths, then after 3 hours smell both.
I tried both 3 today. The Dior Sauvage parfum suck but employee told me it last longer than the other 2. The EDT was good but I liked the EDP far better so I bought EDP today. I swear the EDP smell a bit like my baby powder which i like.
@@kabelo_m I know your question is almost a year old but since I own both EDT and EDP, I'll respond anyway, longevity is about the same however the EDT projects more, the drydown is very very similar, most ppl wouldn't be able to tell the difference if smelled on the air. EDP though just a tiny bit sweeter. Opening is the biggest difference, EDT is fresher and harsher but not in a bad way, EDP's opening is more subdued and toned down, really depends on your preference.

Okay, this video made me feel good because I was thinking I may have purchased the wrong one with the EDT. I know it didn't win, but it still did very very good. I can see that my money wasn't wasted. Thank you.
All 3 are great, it all comes down to personal choice IMO parfum is the best and I get the most compliments because of its sweetness and it lasts the longest on clothes sometimes a week, it’s naturally one that girls like however comparing these is like comparing Kobe Bryant and Michael Jackson they are both goats it comes down to preference

EDT has always been the best in my opinion. I was hugely disappointed with the Parfum. Seemed weaker and noting new, yet I still managed to overspray it in the store testing it and upset my family.
Absolutely nothing new and trying to cash in on the first 2.

I was also surprised by the lack of love for the parfum. It’s my favorite out of the three and my fiancé likes the parfum for me as well. At the same time though a lot of the women seemed fairly young and I think the parfum version does have a mature quality to it. The eau de parfum didn’t really do much for me when I smelled it. For me it’s the parfum first, original Sauvage second, and then the eau de parfum.
Maturity for sure played a part.
Really, it was the complete opposite for me...EDP for sure #1, then EDT and the parfum was way down the bench in a distant 3rd. At the store, we had some girls smell all 3 and no one liked the parfum.

I use to have EDT and I like the fresh smell that last 2 hours but I hated the dry down it smell to synthetic.Now I own EDP and smell a bit less fresh but way better the dry down 👍🏼

edp is also my favorite of the line. The parfum is ok, the edt is not for me.
EDP is my favorite, too; EDT is not for me either, and the Parfum is not worth it. But I have one more favorite: Sauvage Very cool spray. It's really nice (zesty and less harsh than the EDT) and has become one of my summer staples.
I went to a perfume shop today and I tried the 3 of them. I preferred the EDP. Got home and look for a video and I found this one. You can't imagine how much I've jumped up and all excited that EDP won 🤣🤣🤣.

This is a very telling survey. The three different Sauvages smell differently on paper than on skin. The edp smells the best on paper but on skin it has a lot of contrasting smells. For me it's edt > parfum > edp. Sauvage's formula is the best in the edt form and the parfum is a well balanced version of Sauvage.

If I had to pick in order (with the thinking the EDT is warmer weather EDP is cooler weather and Parfum strictly winter/autumn) it would be EDT>Parfum>EDP. Regardless of what people think the EDT smells great and lasts in the summer heat which counts these days. The EDP just doesn’t do it for me. If it’s best for say Autumn there’s many others I’d rather pick than the EDP. Have a sample of the Parfum doesn’t blow me away but I do like it. Not as beastly projection as the EDT but the Parfum lasted on my skin for about 15 hours and I can turn anything into a skin scent. That stuff lasts.
The simplicity and clarity in ur video and video and sound recording quality is just ausumm.....U just make it simple...let the people review first and then curly scents will review...
I haven’t tried the edt yet but I got both parfum and edp. But from my experience i do understand why people underestimate the parfum and jump quickly to the edp...and I had felt the same when I bought the perfume, I sprayed it over me and I was that it!!! Didn’t smell anything was almost disappointed until it dried down and boom 💥 you can now feel it start get compliments even from men. For me the edp have a strong and better opening but parfum have strong projection

I love EDP. That stuff is really sexy. But I really have to say that the less talked about Very Cool spray is actually my favorite from the collection and performs better than any of them!

Well, I've been wearing EDT ever since it's release, and I still have a little bit of that original formula left, although I am halfway done with 2nd 100ml bottle and I've gotta say: Eau De Toilette is the best out of the three for me, and my SO loves it as well, so it's a keeper. I do not like EDP version at all, it just doesn't smell right? to me. However, I've smelled Parfum few days ago and I was surprised at how different that smell is. It doesn't smell like EDT nor EDP, it has this oriental vibe to it. I really liked it and if I didn't have half of the EDT left, I'd consider buying it over EDT. Really nice fragrance.

im 31 and i liked the parfum the best but im not trying to attract alof of people to me or be loud i mean if i wanted to do that id go with luna rossa carbon, but i did like the EDP also but the parfum the most, im the kind of guy where i wanna be hidden and not announced and loud and the edt is what everyone and their mother is wearing, i wanna wear stuff that few know about but not alot, but at the same time im wearing something like chanel allure homme sport. No lie, I like the EDT better due to it being lighter on the nose , but I chose the EDP because I heard the EDT doesn’t last that long and I wanted something that will last on my skin for awhile. Just a good 1-3 spray and you good to go on that EDP. When i first smelled it, I thought it was like an ordinary fragrance, nothing special. That was until after a few minutes it showed why it’s so popular and the best seller and it even lasted till the next day on my wrist
Story time: Went to the mall one day and was looking for some new fragrance since I’ve used the same one since middle school (I used Jimmy choo oil, A great fragrance for daily activities and special occasion.) I’m currently a high school graduate class of 2020, so I wanted something new. I stumbled upon the dior sauvage EDP and wasn’t blown away at first until it dried down and the smell was amazing. It’s not entirely special, but you’ll definitely get some compliments. I didn’t get it at that moment and got Hugo Boss United because I remember me and my mom smelling that in New york and we both loved it. I purchased it and it came with a soccer ball and a smaller bottle for only $75. Once I got home i kept smelling it on my wrist ever since I sprayed it and even smelled it the next morning. I was excited to go to work and have a new scent, but the scent wasn’t noticeable unless you’re directly smelling my neck. I did noticed that the Boss fragrance didn’t smell like my wrist when I first applied it, I just assumed it needed time to dry down. I looked at some more fragrance on youtube while i was on my lunch break and my top choices were dior sauvage, Dylan blue, Acqua di gio, bleu de chanel, and Burberry, couldn’t add Creed to my list because of the pricing at the moment, My dad has it and it’s really good, thought it was an ordinary cologne till the dry down. (Never smelled burberry nor Bleu de chanel just yet, but heard they were good. My stepdad had Burberry and my ma didn’t like it. I only heard about it from a friend.) After work I went to Macy to smell some more cologne and come to find out, EDP was what I smelling on my wrist the whole time. Somehow it overpowered the boss fragrance. I got to smell all three version of the sauvage and loved them all but I liked the EDT the best but heard it doesn’t last as long as the EDP and it gets more compliments. Of course Macy was sold out of it and only had the sample ones, so i took a quick trip to Jcpenny and went to the sephora section and purchased the EDP and love it and the women I have conversations with love it too. I am more than satisfied with my purchased
Boss united is a good fragrance, love the smell, but it’s not really strong and doesn’t last too long on me, it possible because of my body chemical.(it’s probably something I give to my 13 year old brother if i heard he was hanging out with a girl he likes and just spray it on him 10 min before he goes.) Boss united or EDT may last longer on some people than others since our body reacts differently to fragrance. I just may purchase the EDT in the near the future and give it test run to see how it holds up.
However I’m not a 100% sure if this can beat my Jimmy Choo. Jimmy choo is in its own league and has something special to it and will also be a major go for me when in doubt

@@fallenafterling4128 it basically says how much concentrated perfume oil you have in the bottle and how long it wil last. Perfume have the most concentrated perfume and will last the longer after that you have edp(edu de perfume) and least you have edt (edu de toilette)

Wow, literally no love for the Parfum version :o I actually really enjoy that one, its longevity on me is amazing. But it's rather a more mature fragrance for me that I personally only wear to the office or when I wear a suit or something. It definitely has vibes of Bleu de Chanel EDP/Parfum.
I'm a 22 year old guy and I personally enjoy the intensity of the Parfum, it's a bummer that hardly anyone enjoyed the parfum

The parfum smells the best of them. Its the most concentrated and it lasts ALL DAY! The EDT and EDP are just watered down versions of the parfum.
I've got the edp and enjoy it occasionally just for myself when I'm in the right mood.
I tried the Parfum on a tester strip in Birmingham Airport on Wednesday. Its now Friday, I'm in Cyprus and the tester strip in my bag is noticeable when I return to the room.
That ain't bad performance by any means.
My mom smelled the edt on me and the perfume. When I put the edt on she said the following words: “if you don’t know it’s from Dior you could say that’s if from a much cheaper brand: too soapy and too strong” . When I wore the perfume she asked what I was wearing I said Dior again but this time the perfume version. She liked that better. More subtle, less soapy and more manly. I like it also better. After a few days of edt I got tired of the smell fast.
The best fragrance trilogy is Dior Homme, Dior Homme Intense and Dior homme Parfum. Dior had the chance to make Dior sauvage parfum something special but fell at the last hurdle. I have the EDT and edp and both do what they were intended to achieve successfully. I've tested the parfum and it's underwhelming. You review and approach was excellently executed and presented. I can't wait for you to get to 10k subscribers as you deserve it and more

True statement. EDT is softer so its best for summer but EDP is stronger so is best for cold weather. Either way I say put what you like who cares about seasons, enjoy it for yourself.

I just bought the EDT right before I watched this (I had this one before so that’s why I got this version) but it’s good to know the EDT and the EDP were about equally favorable. You don't spray a edp and smell it right away. This is why the edt is winning.
The Parfums need few hours to dry and settle on ur skin/cloths, then after 3 hours smell both.

I tried both 3 today. The Dior Sauvage parfum suck but employee told me it last longer than the other 2. The EDT was good but I liked the EDP far better so I bought EDP today. I swear the EDP smell a bit like my baby powder which i like.

How's the EDP in comparison in terms of Longevity (hours) and projection?
@@kabelo_m I know your question is almost a year old but since I own both EDT and EDP, I'll respond anyway, longevity is about the same however the EDT projects more, the drydown is very very similar, most ppl wouldn't be able to tell the difference if smelled on the air. EDP though just a tiny bit sweeter. Opening is the biggest difference, EDT is fresher and harsher but not in a bad way, EDP's opening is more subdued and toned down, really depends on your preference.
