I just tried the Bleu de Chanel parfum yesterday from a sample I received with my order on Platinum Egoiste. What I can honestly say is that it absolutely smashed in terms of longevity and performance, first 3-4 hours it projected heavily and after 8-9 hours it still had moderate projection. I sprayed 4 times, 2 on skin and 2 on clothes by the way. I don't know how the eau de parfum compares but I can highly recommend the parfum version. Not to mention that it has a deep, classy and sophisticated scent.

Jeremy's music choice throughout this video is spot on, his editing and music choices reflects someone who's been serious about this for years. Also the mature end theme music is much more fitting then then the earlier light jingle from before. Keep up the fantastic work, constantly improving and thank you for your authenticity.

This perfume is worth every penny for me
It’s the richest fragrance in market right now for me, it smells a lot richer, woodier, it smells so expensive compared to edp
Edp smells like a fresh fragrance and that’s pretty much it
This is just my new signature perfume, it’s unique, fresh, woody, special, romantic, Masculine, it lasts on my skin for 12 plus hours and i get compliment even after wearing 6 hours
I don't know about the lasting for 12 hours thing, but everything else you said was 100% spot on. I test-strip-smelled all three- EDT, EDP, and Parfum and IMMEDIATELY could tell that the Parfum smelled NOTHING like the other two. It was in fact more richer with a livelier scent or something. And yes, you're also correct about the "later in the day after applying" compliments. I once put it on at 7:30am and received a "damn, you smell good" random compliment at about 2pm ish. The lady told me that while wearing a mask at that.

Hes not wrong though- they are very similar. The parfum is just a tad more sweeter and tropical. Switch the ginger with pineapple and you got parfum. That's probably the only change they made it probably only smells significantly different because pineapple is such an energetic note. No different in woods whatsoever. Maybe less smoky than EDP.

I recently was in Macy's and tried all three- EDT,EDP and Parfum, and the Parfum CLEARLY smelled richer, more different and flat out better out of the three. Maybe they modified it since the making of this video, but if you were to spray all three on test strips and mix them up, you would DEFINITELY know which one is the Parfum.
I absolutely LOVE the pineapple note on the Parfum definitely picking it up even if it smells similiar to the EDP which I already have

I love trying different colognes. But I have always been skeptical over peoples description on RUclips on how good they smell. I think I found the expert. I haven't seen anyone do it better. He goes out of his way and really does a great job.

Thinking of buying this...Chanel and other designer frag houses must listen to their customers and also serious Frag reviewers like you. Designer Frag houses cannot take customers for granted as the current customers are more discerning especially when they are paying a DESIGNER price! I tried this at the Chanel Boutique, had a few test sprays. The scent is gorgeous I will give it 8/10..similar to the original but with a different direction, elegant & richer...and after the sprays I went back..after 3 hours it is very close to the skin, asked my bro (he was sitting next to me in the couch) if he smells anything and he says No ..I mean for US 200 Dollars price tag in my country I feel it is a rip off! COME ON CHANEL !

Love the content. I've seen people both praise and bash this channel. I've been following the frag com for about a year and a half. I've built my own collection and watch content on youtube regularly for for enjoyment/research. At the end of the day, I come this channel if I want a quick glimpse of knowing what fragrances are the best value to please the masses, especially women. That is not the only piece in my fragrance journey, but I would be lying if I said it was not an important one. Thank you Jeremy. It actually changes its smell after 6 hours and smells devine on me. And I even smell it when I am going to sleep. And sometimes days after on my sleeves, after I used it. And I only spray once on my pulse, and touch my wrists behind ears.
The way Jeremy sprays (like 4-5 times) I would not feel the difference between EDP and Parfum version.
Try spraying it once, and you will the diff.
Bleu de Chanel, overall is still an awesome fragrance! Nice review though. Great vibes!

Actually I believe Bleu Parfum is a more refined version. I can easily smell the difference against the EDP. I would agree that performance is similar to the EDP. But the scent is much more smooth and refined. Specially after an hour or so the difference (at least in my skin) is evident. While this new version is a little bit expensive, to me it is what Bleu should have been from the beginning. A masterpiece.

Thank you Jeremy for giving an unbiased honest review on such a beloved fragrance. I was not sure if I even wanted to smell the Parfum version having been such a loyal fan of the EDP for years now, worried I may succumb to a potential marketing ploy. You helped put my mind at ease.
I had a love/hate relation with bdc, but when the parfum version came out last much longer on my skin than the edt and edp. So that's why it's my person favourite:)

Parfum smells COMPLETELY different from the EDT & EDP they almost could've called it something else. It's jaw droppingly good!

The bleu Chanel perfume is much better as I stated in one of my last comment it lases all day long even after taking a shower at night it still lingers.

100% agree. In the beginning they are similar, and maybe for the first 2-3 hours, but once the parfums dry down starts to take hold, my god it's one of the best fragrances I've ever smelt. I'm really surprised Jeremy failed to mention this, as I'm sure he'd have smelt the difference when doing the performance test

Amazing Video!! The eau de toilette do not hold enough in all the day , and indeed the Eau de Parfum smell almost the same at the Parfum ; I switch from Eau de Parfum to the Parfum very quick... and the parfum is just AWESOME!!! My note: 9.9/10
I'm totally addicted to the Bleu de Chanel Parfum and yes it's clearly last longer, but I pay 67€ for the Parfum (50ml) , and it's an authentic one!
