What pushrods did you use after heads got milled I got mine milled .30 thousands also and am running 7.375 and they work just fine was wondering what u used ?
If I had to put in a suggestion, from an experienced tuner standpoint, Put the stock air box back in. If you want to pull more air, leave that intake tube in there and adapt it to the factory air box. Then put a fresh Oem filter or k&n drop in filter in the air box and cut out the bottom of the air box. All those intakes are garbage and should be advertised for what they are.. “hot air intakes” And don’t waste any money on the 4l60e... just go straight to the 80e. It’ll save you a ton of time, money and headaches. Truck sounds good with that cam, by the way.
@@yunghogg88 oh really? I’m looking into doing e85 on my 2000 4.8 and I just installed 50lb injectors but didn’t want to have to upgrade fuel pumps lol guess I’ll have to but I’ll probably go with the Walbro 255
How much was it to get the heads ported? U have 862 heads on my 4.8 I’ve been wanting to port but not sure what the difference is between .15 .25 and .30 as far as the head mill work go

If you have the harness worked out for a drive by cable throttle body they should match up. Which would be the iac and tps sensors. As far as ecm if its a drive by wire ecm then yes you would need it reprogrammed for cable driven
You only need an xlink if your vehicle is originally a drive by wire throttle body and you are doing the tbss intake swap. Which you will need a 4bolt electric throttle and xlink. Mine is drive by cable

Dope, my 6.0 got about 400k on milage, so I'm sceptical on what I'm going to do to it. I know the tranny will hold some power (NV4500 5 Speed) not sure what to start with first, taking the rebuild into consideration.
Rick D the truck came with that drop kit when i bought it but its a 4/6 i believe. The rear has a flip kit but i need to replace stock shocks with some drop shocks and need to relocate them. The front they cut the springs which i dont like but will be replacing with some lowering springs.

If it came with a clutch fan from factory most likely its the 28inch. You will need to get one off from like a 05 that came with efans. I had to buy a 34 inch one when installed the efans, i found one at a salvage yard for 100$

What size and thread kind of bolts did you use to remove the pulley man?
Inside in the center it has 3 threaded holes, you have to use the crows foot style puller and use some 5/16-18 thread pitch bolts to pull it off

Is there a reason why you upgraded to the Walbro 450 or did your old fuel pump just give out on you?
Just wanted to make sure i had enough fuel since i was running bigger injectors
Im sure the stock fuel pump wouldve supported it but also u cant run e85 on stock.one

Yes. The efans from an 08 silverado will work but you will need the 34inch radiator so they line up to bolt down

Chasemanuti milled them .30 7.350 pushrods. Raised compression to 10:5:1
