I halved this recipe and cooked it in a loaf pan it was the best one I've ever made. I have tried several other marble cake recipes this is the only one that worked. I used 2 eggs and forgot to half the baking soda it still came out beautifully. Also I first put half the vanilla batter in the loaf pan, then i mixed in the chocolate to the remaining batter in the bowl. (melted chocolate for 1 min in microwave) Then I poured the chocolate batter over the vanilla one and swirled it. This saved me from washing an extra bowl.

List of ingredients can be same, but amounts are different, like chemistry class! I followed other bloggers and my final results wasn’t successful, but many times failed..... hi! i made this cake and it really tasty! i only have round cake pan, smaller than yours, so i reduce the measurement. 200gr flour, 120gr salted butter, 170gr sugar, 2 teaspoon baking powder, 80ml milk. i did not reduce vanilla, and eggs (because i only got small eggs. i used 3). I left out baking soda and yogurt/sour cream. i did not have baking chocolate, so i melted pure chocolate chips instead. turned out great, very soft, no crack, and not crumbling at all! thank you so much...

Hi Stephanie. I did everything step by step with you and everything was perfect, just got confused with the color of the Panmunjom so I decided to get down the ovens to 325 f and it was really bad, so I put the oven 350 and it got burned, so sad. It isn’t 11:00 pm and I have to bake it again for my daughter’s birthday tomorrow. followed the exact recipe. The cake turned out to be awesome n everybody loved it. just added little more sugar cz we all have a sweet tooth!!! n I drained the yogurt a little bit as we make organic yogurt at home... I just wish I could post a photo along with it!!!

Originally you put the vanilla batter in the bunt pan first and then pull it up the sides and along the tube (you do this because the chocolate batter would more easily burn than the vanilla batter...) Then add the chocolate batter in the well that you have just created. Then going in a circle you pull a fork through the batter in a spiraling motion thus creating the marble effect. I know that much 😄 now I have the recipe 😂 Thank 😘
