I just baked the marble cake by following exactly like your recipe. And, I love it. Its super moist, soft and its just the way I always wanted. Thanks for the recipe. :) I'm gonna try your other recipes too. Btw, I bake it with 350F for 55 mins.
One more thing, Thanks for being so fun and jolly :)

I made the cake today for the first time and it came out delicious. Next time I'll take it out of the oven about 3 minutes before I think it's ready as because of the large amount of eggs it continues to bake because of its heat.
One thing that needs to be added to the recipe is that melting time for white chocolate is much shorter (by about a minute) than melting time for dark chocolate in the microwave. (know because I burnt the first batch of white chocolate using the same time I used for the dark chocolate).
    Thanks for this recipe!!

a WARNING/TIP for this cake: you will probably want to double sift your flour since the airey egg mixture does not dissolve flour well. You may end up overbeating the batter if you try to remove the flour lumps!

I just did this cake, the only thing I don't have was white chocolate. it turned out really dry and eggy. I used 4 huge eggs and beat sugar till its fluffy and creamy. but it's not as thick as seen in your video. I used the exact measurement chocolate powder mentioned in the recipe. I turned out too dry. at this point, I knew the cocoa power has created thick dry batter. I knew the cake won't turned out moist. I added cocoa powder (125gm).

when you add cocoa powder you have to augment it with some type of liquid. cocoa is very dry and needs more than the plain batter as far as moisture to balance out.

Hi Sanya - just to confirm, it came out nice? so it worked? the eggs are fine, it should triple in volume. it may be the quality of the flour. flour changes from one type to another, some flour types have more absorption power than others, so it may be that you needed to add more flour.

yes, but you'll have to read on your pack how much baking powder is already included in self-raising flour. Self raising flour includes baking powder - while all purpose does not, that's why we add baking powder to it. but I am not sure how much baking powder your self raising flour has. you may have to adjust the baking powder amount in this recipe.

Hi Sanya - in general baking is very precise. so make sure that all your ingredients are very well measured.
I think what went wrong in your experiment is the eggs. did you beat the eggs well? you have to beat them long enough until they become very very thick (as I showed in the video) otherwise, the batter would be liquidy.

I give my beaters and my bowl (metal preferrably) a good rinse with boiling water just to make sure it is germ free. Air dry or use a clean kitchen towel and those eggs wont give any trouble again! :)

I was quite unsure how the cake will be because there is no water in the recipe... BUT! It was delicious!!!
