  • Perhaps no exercise is better for core strength and energy than Sleeping Tiger Posture. Unlike sit-ups and other common abdominal exercises, Sleeping Tiger builds strength using focus, relaxation, and breathing.
    Practice 20 minutes of Sleeping Tiger Posture with Soyoung to build up your "Dahnjon" (core energy center). Don't worry if you can't do all 20 minutes, with practice, your endurance will definitely increase!

    Thanks for the video. Throughout my practice, playing the video at the same time, your voice continuously encourages and motivates to go further and complete the practice.       Thank you for sharing!! I am glad it helps you. This posture can be very helpful for feeling more centered, stronger, and at the same time more relaxed. We say that it is effective for 'gathering' energy in the core, deepening the breathing, and focusing the mind. I hope you practice regularly and notice continuous benefits!

    I have done this pose & a person has to be in excellent physical health at peak strength to hold the pose for an appreciable amount of time. This is not to say that it's a bad thing. But no tiger has ever slept this way. I however was able to fall asleep in the ambulance that took me away.
