Speculating about the warbringer: I think one key aspect of the armor break nodes will be determined how the game handles attacks that "consume" full armor break. If they just "reset" the targets armor to full this node is probably DoA and I think that is highly likely :/ If however such a skill simply "adds back" the normal armor value for that target it would basically enable "stacking" multiple full armor breaks kindof like "charges" to be used for attacks (seems way too OP to be true). Will be interesting to see if "negative armor" is actually a thing because if it isn't then curses like "vulnerability" has no reason to exist (since according to the geminfo we have so far it only reduces armor). I am way more curious about the possible interaction of "armor explosion" supportgem and "anvil's weight" + "warcaller's bellow" (the big question is if the "explosions" from the corpses actually count as a hit, I don't remember how PoE1 handles it).

Adaptive Capability on Gem Legionnaire seems pretty strong actually, because of how much Strength buffs you in PoE 2. I kinda want to play Gem Necromancer, who have been socket starved historically and always struggled to get enough strength and dex for support gems. The idea of full Strength stacking ignoring the skill requirements seems like you'd get a LOT of max life, when you otherwise can't get any on the tree. This might be terrible for leveling though. There are probably a *few* minion nodes in the area, but the bread and butter nodes are in the top of the tree, so travel gon' be a bitch. If recent is still 4 seconds, if you stand still and warcry constantly you could have a generic 276% increased damage after 4 seconds. Great video. I think that you should not "league start" with the build you like the most as the first playthrough will be mostly about learning the game and thinking about a real build. Just go with the most simple thing that seems fun to you. For example, I like melee and big bonks and I think that the chronomancer with the cooldown stuff will be super OP in perfect build + gear. However, for the first build I'll just go with warrior since I'll get the sense of melee from day 1 and not just endgame...
For Into the Breach you say "extra as chaos" but it doesn't say extra it just says 7% of damage as chaos. Could you explain why that would be considered extra if it doesn't specify extra?
For Acolyte of Chayula, for #9 and scatter them to the winds, I don’t think there’s a CD because based on the flicker strike clip, they had an arc/wave (int) come out after every hit. Unless that was a completely different skill on a coc set up then I’m wrong

what I dislike about judge jury executioner on witch hunter is: its basically a 17.5% more dmg over 2 nodes, so it feels more like 8-9% since you will prolly be able to get cull from somewhere else, even then the relevant cull got nerfed.
Traveller's Wisdom on pathfinder are necessarily your 5 worst (last) nodes taken on the tree. It may still be fine, but it's not going to provide an average amount of power.

not huge on archmage, because we might hit severe mana recovery issues due to increased cost requirements; this might have the implications that with sufficient cast speed, you will be outputting higher DPS w/o archmage just by the virtue of being able to sustain it, and it'll feel comfier too -- will have to see :)

@@c-tothefourth4879 "targets can be affected by two of your chills at the same time" + "your chills can reduce action speed up to 35%" = 2 x 35 is how I'm reading it. if the cumulative maximum is 35 (17.5% each) then yeah it's kind of average compared to the other nodes

More ideas for chrono lady? love poison hammer idea
None of the tress matter other than warrior. 20 inventory slots are op. Might as well not have other ascendancies or classes.
20 slots is absolutely useless lol
Clearly not in the top 30 of ascendency points in EA
if there is some kind of Empower gem in the game, gemling legionarie's +1 to all gems will shine op in some build :D
i see many streamers saying "the endgame goal is to like spamming 1 skill over and over" meanwhile the biggest dmg you get is from transformative reaction damage, aka skill combo dmg, ggg said the top end game there will be SOME 1-2button builds but they will be inferior.
i think if 1 button sunder gets enabled early it is insanely strong.
a lot of gamers just also care less about power and wana brain off in the other cases xdd
concoctions skills are considered as a different poisons? you can apply all five to a target and the enemy gets 5 poison types as the same time with this skill?
Yeah same the more we know of skills and ascendancies, I know less and less what to start with, everything seems so hype.
56:35 we can't let this one slide
Great info, Thanks!
However, for the first build I'll just go with warrior since I'll get the sense of melee from day 1 and not just endgame...
if the chronomancer slow is additive with temp chain, it's kind of unhinged, otherwise, I don't see why you would use it over temp chain
are these builds post gauntlet era viable?
For Into the Breach you say "extra as chaos" but it doesn't say extra it just says 7% of damage as chaos. Could you explain why that would be considered extra if it doesn't specify extra?
For Acolyte of Chayula, for #9 and scatter them to the winds, I don’t think there’s a CD because based on the flicker strike clip, they had an arc/wave (int) come out after every hit. Unless that was a completely different skill on a coc set up then I’m wrong
thats invoker
i thought the CD might just be low. id give it a lot of consideration if cd is actually 0
Is it a problem that the Purple Flames of Chayula says "damage as chaos damage" and not Extra Chaos Damage like Reality Rending?
I think I'll try the UNbound Encore ascendancy of the Chronomancer with the hourglass support on some big damage ability against bosses. Something like 1 - 2 - 4 - 5
What is the mana sustain tech hes talking about?
what I dislike about judge jury executioner on witch hunter is: its basically a 17.5% more dmg over 2 nodes, so it feels more like 8-9% since you will prolly be able to get cull from somewhere else, even then the relevant cull got nerfed.
Also since you have 1 try per boss, you get it, deal 1%, you then have to end the fight with 2 less asc nodes
Witch-hunter will be picked for the concentration nodes, not the decimating strike ones, those are the most obvious noob bait nodes I’ve seen
@@vbaldokaizen8748 i'd just kinda ignore it and be like cool that procced, but alot of ppl are already talking about resetting boss lol
Will the Warbinger armour nodes apply to our ancestral totems though?
Traveller's Wisdom on pathfinder are necessarily your 5 worst (last) nodes taken on the tree. It may still be fine, but it's not going to provide an average amount of power.
Snitch started his job, well done CATW
Gonna test poision pf, can't wait to completely regret it lol
Should change the title to "Best ascendancy for archmage"
im confused what do u mean with brinnger of flames having to be fire based? if all dmg contributes to ignite magnitude that should work with other dmg types too right? or am i missunderstanding what ingite magnitude means?
not huge on archmage, because we might hit severe mana recovery issues due to increased cost requirements; this might have the implications that with sufficient cast speed, you will be outputting higher DPS w/o archmage just by the virtue of being able to sustain it, and it'll feel comfier too -- will have to see :)
Thought the same, my idea will still be mana+int+ES stacking and turn on/off things while playing.
And then he walks out and says : "IAMJUNGROAN"
Doesn't the stormweaver chill ascendancy say "you can have two chills with 35% max magnitude each"? or am I reading it wrong?
could be hard to get the max effect with 25% less chill magnitude though
No it doesn’t say that.
Does into the breach work with breach rings if breach rings work the same as in poe1, which gives double ring effect while in a breach? That would be absolutely broken.
Actually Breach rings now have an implicit that enables its quality to go up to 50%. I really hope there are other things we can use to take advantage of always being considered to be in a Breach, that would be bonkers
Breach rings have had their implicit changed.
what if you go , chronomasner with a cold /freeze build ?? chill-pressence node , should make everything super easy , +50recoup (tree and node)
do we know how much recoup is on tree?
will test many but will start wit a Witch - Bloodmage
Im 95% sure after this video that you and me are both leaguestarting melee.
There is not much base minion ascendancy as i see. For minions for me seems viable: Infernalist, Invoker and Gemling. But there is no ascendandy that is buffing minion dmg. So it should be already strong as a base and ascendandy is just survibility and spirit options.
My guess 3rd ascendancy on full release is gonna be minion based.
@@Andonay1its not they already said this many times , they dont want to force people to pick one thing so you can build whatever you want with whoever you want. No Necromancer in Poe2
@@nitro1048 ascendancy shape your character builds tho. pretty much making that point null. yes you can build whatever on whoever but the ascendancy is gonna pretty much determine the difference between two builds. so considering there is still 6 more classes and 24 different ascendancies on the way there a pretty good chance there will be a better minion ascendancy down the road even if its not named necro lol.
My immedate thoughts are Blood Mage lifestacker. I'm deadset on my first character being absolute dog so it really doesn't matter if it works or not but getting damage from stacking defense is always great.
Any tips on which path to go down for lifestacking? Is str stacking relevant
Which ascendecies for HC mate?😃
pause button
I'm confused, The flame of Chalupa, grants 7% damage as Chaos, the other node say extra chaos damage.
Does the flame just convert or adds the damage?
What happen if I use a chaos gem? With 10 stacks does I get up to 140% extra damage?
Do your God Eyes see anything that would make a good support character for 1 to 3 people group?
ask snap LOL
Gemling legionaire seemed strong but the max res nerf for gems is rough. Bet thisll be the most untouched node.
what was it before?
@@philippwolf6088 1% max res per 3 supports, now it's 1% per 4 supports. Basically, 25% nerf.
okay what you think about this for defence:
infernalist altered flesh + hellhound + cloak of flames + blasphemy enfeeble curse + 25% armour taking as fire note + 90% fire res + wand shield combo? (10stack demon form for dps)
i dont think u can use weapons and shields in demon form which might be bad if lost weapons are really good
54:35 how about Orb of Storm + lightning skill with high attack speed?
yea looks playable
Blood Mage (attack based build)
How come no talk about bloodmagic for bloodmage? Should be a sick combo.
Infernalist says you and your allies gain 20% damage as fire damage. It's this aditional? Or convert?
All i bricking my allies ailments with it?
Gain is gain, convert is convert
40:52 how the logout has anything to do with the ascendancy?
You can keep restarting the boss until you proc a high roll for decimating strike
am I crazy or pyromantic pact on infernalist is infinite mana as long as you solve the fire damage mitigation\life recovery?
Damage overtime can crit? Like burn, bleed or poison damage? And if it does crit, every tick can crit or the crit counts for its totality?
i think the magnitude of the dot scales with how intense the attack of the skill applying the dot is. so crit should scale the dot but the dot won't crit
@@Hjortur95 Thank you.
What mana tech is he talking about ?
It would have been nice if you would say what the node does before you hive you opinion about it so i don't have to check it before myself
You can turn any skill to a cooldown skill with a support gem
