I'm sorry to be honest butt that's the most useless video on battery "savings" I've seen so far. Who in the world wants to reduce their smartwatch back to a pure old school digital watch with 23 days battery. Digital watches has had 3 years battery life for the last 30 years.
It's for vacations and time when you forgot your charger for the watch. Maybe you left on Friday for a weekend trip and didn't realize your watch only had 20% left. Put that feature on and you can still use your watch as a watch until you get back to charge it to full. Nothing is worse than a dead smartwatch as you don't wanna wear it since it does nothing but you don't wanna put it in your bag in case you lose it or risk getting stolen.

I just did hours of comparing products today because I hate regret. I spent an hour deciding just this. I decided to go with the Active 2 because I do want a bit more of a fitness watch. They will both basically do the same things, but I believe the Active 2 has a better heartrate sensor. The biggest deal is the size/weight. Both the regular watch and the A2 have 2 different sizes, the bigger ones hold more battery. But the A2 (the ones with Aluminum anyways) are way lighter like *way* lighter. They also have a modern, more sport look compared to the regular watch. The A2 actually has a bigger display size because there is no physical bezel. So I bought the A2 today knowing I may miss out on a few random features but for better fitness tracking, lighter weight and lower cost it was a deal. Also I'm a girl and have a smaller wrist. I was going to get the 42mm regular watch as the 46mm is hefty. But that battery sucked. I was able to get the A2 in the bigger 44mm size with a battery that is bigger than the 42mm regular and not have the weight and bulk overwhelm me. Hope my obsessive shopping comparisons help!
