You seem to have been working a lot on the Sorento. I have a 2008 2,5crdi and I got some problem. I got oil in coolingsystem but no cooling in oil. I have changed oilcooler and headgasket. After changing headgasket it got better but still getting oil in coolinsystem and to high pressure in coolingsystem. Head was pressuretested for cracks and was good. Someone told me about crack in the block? I have no more ideas what to do? Do you have any suggestions?

Can you leave the turbo there and take only the exhaust manifold off?

it happened to me on one engine, that it was a crooked engine block

Maybe turbocharger, there's water cooled Turbo
