I'd say this team is as good as 2008/09 and it's only worse than 1998/99 & 2007/08 and very few other PL champions from other clubs. Just ManCity 2017/18 is certainly better out of all other champions. I was gonna say Liverpool 2019/20 but they only just got top4 the next season where as this ManUtd were the best team in Britain by a mile for 5 straight seasons and top2 in the World with Barca in the same time period judging by CL record.
Lol Man City 2017-2018 is a horrible take. Sure they got 100 points but they got knocked out of the Champions League early and solely focused on that target. You have to bear in mind the United team of 1999, 2007, and 2008 were in all 3 competitions right up to the end (semis or final or down to the final day of the league) and this has a knock-on effect on each of the competitions. United 2006-2009 is greater than Man City 2017-18 also because they won 3 PL titles in a row and reached back to back UCL finals.
@@shahzadirani I wasn't talking about "ManUtd 2006 to 2009"?? I was talking about just 06/07 and the only other different club teams who were definitely better was 17/18 (and I suppose 22/23 now, but ManUtd 98/99 treble was way better than theirs). And you also brought up 1999 etc...?? Obviously those teams are better than a team who doesn't win ChampionsLeague. Especially the style ManUtd achieved it in 99 & 08. I was just pointing out that there's been PL & FAcup double winners that were worse but just way luckier than this 06/07 team even when blocking out what ManUtd achieved the following season (which was more different in terms of personnel than you think, hence why I was only talking about ManUtd 06/07 and how they played without Tevez, Nani, Hargreaves, Pique etc...). The point I was making was Chelsea 09/10 for example were worse than ManUtd 06/07 (NOT WITH ManUtd's achievements in next 2 seasons in mind. Just thinking about ManUtd 06/07 and Chelsea 09/10). Chelski were flukey, got loads of decisions and easy cup draws just to narrowly nick the title (also because it was first season ManUtd could go above Liverpool on league title's hence Gerrard deliberate backpass to Drogba on penultimate game), they also did worse in CL. Played rock bottom in FAcup final to win 1-0. 06/07 ManUtd were more convincing in PL and had some great CL performances. Denied the double because they had to play 2nd Chelski in FAcup final and were robbed with that no pen/no goal despite it crossing the line incident. Also Arsenal 97/98 double winners weren't as good as ManUtd 06/07 either. That's really the main point I was trying to make that Arsenal 97/98 & Chelsea 09/10 won PL & FAcup double but weren't as good as many teams who've won only PL (like 06/07) or even finished 2nd because Arsenal for example mainly won the PL because ManUtd had to challenge in the ChampionsLeague for a while, Arsenal were out of UEFAcup straightaway and that led to ManUtd getting several more key injury problems yet still arguably better than Arsenal more impressive results, +12 GD better with more scored than Arsenal & less conceded, zero comprehensive defeats to Arsenal's quite a few etc...Arsenal just got lucky vs ManUtd with a bad penalty decision at 2-2 Scholes fouled by Winterburn at Highbury no pen then Arsenal get the late winner so that decision swung 6pts in their favour and they still had to win again at OldTrafford and it took another late winner vs half a ManUtd B-team. Also ManUtd had a freak loss away to Coventry 1-2 up with a few mins to go Coventry get a late pen, it was a pen but then concede straight after lose 3-2, Arsenal play Coventry away the following month and make sure they get a 2-2 draw the whole season came down to a small detail like that they won because they drew one more game which they probably deserved to lose more than ManUtd did they were just a bit luckier. Also I would add ManUtd's 1999/00 team to the same category as ManUtd 06/07 in some ways it is but I suppose 99/00 were eliminated 1 round earlier in CL by a team who although went on & won it they only beat Valencia who ManUtd had also thrashed earlier in the campaign & RMadrid finished 5th yet comfortably progressed vs ManUtd in the end (Milan 07 didn't do much better in SeriaA but still better) & some other disappointing results in that PL season like losing games away 3-1, 3-0 & (albeit after a sending off, 5-0 at Stamford bridge) where as ManUtd 06/07 never lost by more than 1 goal in any competition apart from ChampionsLeague SF 2nd leg which was still only 2 goal margin on aggregate and it was against a better team than some ManUtd lost to in 99/00 although ManUtd did lose very few 99/00 & it was ManUtd's best PL goalscoring season but ManUtd's defence was way better in 06/07 so still had +4 GD better. The PL points was pretty much the same but the rivals were richer hence challenging a bit better so the winning margin wasn't as big (but the pts gap would've at least doubled if ManUtd hadn't been denied pens in both draws with Chelsea) in fact 06/07 would've been higher points tally than 99/00 instead of lower but played B-team vs Chelsea away as already won the league and drew 0-0 but should've had a pen when Essien fouled ChrisEagles and I didn't mind losing last PL game but if ManUtd won they would've had 92pts (overtaking 99/00) but WestHam needed to win to guarantee they'll stay up and that season I wanted them and Wigan to which happened. I don't know whether Ferguson did also but he didn't try to lose anyway he just didn't care nor the players if they didn't, he put out a good team because he usually liked winning same game as the trophy presentation but as long as it wasn't a bad loss it wasn't that important and it was good news for some struggling teams (I remember I wanted Wigan to stay up instead of SheffUtd because Neil Warnock was a bit annoying with his moaning and also Wigan were horribly robbed away to Arsenal that season when they'd scored a great goal to take the lead and they lost in similar late manner ManUtd lost there that season late turnaround and Arsenal players both times rubbed it into their opposition players proper c word level but doing that to Wigan who are fighting relegation was very low). All ManUtd's league defeats were narrow and could've gone the other way unlucky defeats twice to Arsenal & away to Portsmouth and WestHam by winning that last game with ManUtd already champions also completed a narrow win double over ManUtd 5 PL losses all narrow, only 3 different teams beat ManUtd same as 99/00 despite that was only 3 defeats.

Who can ever forget how Kaka destroyed us...
I’m a united fan but kaka become one of my favourite players of all time that night at old Trafford when he tore our defence up
We are trying to forget 😂.. to be fair though our team was running ragged we had about four first team defenders missing through injuries .. and we were pretty much in every competition, unlike Milan who had the luxury of relaxing players because they had no chance of winning anything domestically .. it’s important to remember the context 😉
He was ballon dor winner that year. No shame in getting destroyed by him lol
@@realife1542fanboys supporting players is so weird
He didn't destroy United, United had full backs playing centre back running into each other.
I know that time❤️❤️
Miss the Nike kits.
I always wished Tevez had stayed longer 💔
RYAN GIGGS GENIUS 4:20😍🥶🥶🥶🥶

Where did you find these old clips and how can i watch all cr7 match from 2002-2023
If only Rooney had respect for football, Manchester United and himself he could of been one of the greats but he looked after himself no better then a bricklayer
Look at what an absolute attacking machine we were then . The current Man City maybe dominant but they don’t have the exhilarating attack of United then . And Our current team are not even a tenth as good . Those were the days . So far far away . 11 years of mediocrity since . And no signs we are going to be as great as Fergies teams anytime in the near future .
3:43 what are simple goal by ole.
Rooney was the most important player in those title winning period from 2006- 2013
Not in 2006,2007 and 2008 Ronaldo was the key man
Nah Ronaldo was the key
Pessi fan boy spotted 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@tylergriffin2499 Why would i be a Messi fan if i support United? Ronaldo was the goal scorer but Rooney was the workhouse.
@@yohannesmisikir7056 Rooney wasn’t key in any of the 5 title he won with man United 2007,2008,2009, Ronaldo was the key 2010/11 berbatov and chicarito was the key and 2012/13 it was rvp you might try to argue but with only Rooney workhouse or whatever we won’t win the league without those players the only two season Rooney was man United main man we lost the league to Chelsea 2009/10 man city 2010/11
Carrick changed this team they went three years without a title and ferguson wasnt a happy bunny
