i dont care what anyone says but Ole Gunnar Solskjær was beyond the pale. The amount of times he came up with late goals to save us was so important...He was so clinical and rightly titled the baby faced assassin! One of the all time greatest players for Man U...
Bosnich, Taibi, Barthez, Howard, Carrol. These 5 could play in goal together, all at the same time, and not come close to V.D.Sar. Unbelievable how he was there, in plain sight, playing for Fulham, and it took as long as it did for a club in contention for titles to sign him. Champs league winner with Ajax in the 90's, time at Juventus cut short (disrespectfully in my view) by the signing of Buffon, and he vanishes out of sight and mind because he finds himself at Fulham. Unbelievable keeper, composure and reach like no other, what a guy
I remember watching that 6-2 win against Newcastle and as an Arsenal fan that was frightening to watch considering we played them next. United were ruthless that season
@@tomral7294 ruud was a fantastic centre forward no doubt but he wasn't quite on the same level as Van Basten, Gerd Muller or Puskas. If he was I'd rate him higher than Rooney.

No you shouldn't have. Arsenal's record vs the Top8 was pants for a team going for the title. Just 4 wins, 5 draws & 5 defeats (Goal difference of +ONE...in FOURTEEN games....also it was -4 GD before a 6-1 win vs 8th Southampton in Arsenal's last home game of the season after they'd already lost the title) ManUtd got over double the points (35) and +20 GD (despite ThierryHenry's offside brace against ManUtd at Highbury). Not to mention Arsenal did worse in the ChampionsLeague yet again. Best team won.
Before anyone has a go at me i dont support any team but i think the only season where the best team didnt win the league was the 02 03 season. Arsenal were clearly superior that season..they just bottled it tbh.

Newcastle 1995/96 was a harder race. ManUtd could afford a ThierryHenry offside brace against ManUtd to deny ManUtd a win and also could afford for Keane to miss the game against them at OldTrafford and still win by 5pts. Newcastle led by double figures in 95/96 and ManUtd had to beat them home&away (with Keane playing both as well as all other important players) and the away game was a lucky win (fair, but lucky) and the title was decided on the final day instead of game 36 of 38. You always felt Arsenal would drop points as well in 2002/03 their record vs the Top8 was dreadful compared to ManUtd's. Not to mention they weren't as strong in CL but then again that helped them win 97/98 & 01/02 ManUtd playing more European games and getting several injuries.
Utd arent finding players who would die to score...big names are mostly arrogant and stuborn but young players like garnacho and others must get chances..
Well that was 20 years ago…players today (or at least at United) aren’t interested in becoming the best of the best. This current generation is more on social media glamour than kicking a ball. …God, I sound like a boomer 😑

Had this question to my self as well., United has had some clutch keeper and dumb keepers in equal measure , Onana is part of the Taibi lot .
United eternally for me ❤
I remember watching that 6-2 win against Newcastle and as an Arsenal fan that was frightening to watch considering we played them next. United were ruthless that season
The classic "slow start" from a Ferguson United team but picked up pace as the season went on
What a player Veron was❤
my favourite season...scholes hit 20 goals ...4-0 victory over liverpool...
Man utd winning titles and cup with barthez is itself an big achievement...
Don't think we actually won a "cup" with Barthez but won 2 PL title's.
I loved Scholes in this position. Would have scored as much as Lampard if played this position like Lampard all the time bit became an elite DM and AM
Будто суперский триллер посмотрел. Вот это матчи, вот это сезон!! Красота 🔥🔥🔥
Opponents scored but we ended up winning...Today, we barely score three goals
Van Nistelrooy was world class and probably our best striker in the noughties. I miss these good old days. GGMU

That's when i became a united fan. I was visiting a friend from Manchester. That day the United were celebrating their title. Beckham was my guy.

Soksjear so good
How I wish I could go back to 2002/03
Will be at least another 5 - 10 years.
soksjaer was very important that season
Forlan was actually not that bad at United.
He scored plenty of screamers
How did Barthez make it to the first squad 😂
Probably because he was a WorldCup winner (and ChampionsLeague winner 1993) ManUtd didn't have many, Arsenal had more despite not being as successful.
Diego Forlan The Best 😘
That season omydays we should have won this league title for the life of me i do not know how we conceded this title still pains me to this day🤨 #coyg
