I love this gamepad. And if you chisel the plastic holder in the back, you can fit in tablets as well. Really cool mod.
Great gamepad!I've been using this for more than a week now and I'm 100% satisfied, It feels like a proper controller (Xbox)Its fantastic, much, much better like the backbone one . The only tiny minus for me is the button layout, I prefer the dual sense, but the rest is what I was looking for!!!

Just got mine, doesnt work at all....with a s22 ultra, anyone know how to map buttons...need a pairing code after unlocking developer options on my phone, then still doesnt pair.... no info anywhere to solve this....

Have you tried fitting the pixel 8 pro in with a thick case? I'm worried the usb c won't line up with a case (I have an S23 ultra which is similar size)
Great controller, I've been using Gamesir x2 pro and planning to upgrade to this controller, it would be nice if the mobile controller had haptic feedback, gaming on it would be awesome.
I just picked up a backbone at a discount for black Friday a few days ago. Right after I get that I kept seeing videos for the G8 on RUclips. Then you turn around and make a review on it lol. I have big hands but I have absolutely no problem holding the backbone in hands. I think it would still be good for people with smaller hands too. Im loving my backbone though. My playstation remote play experience is pretty choppy because I dont have the greatest internet right now. Gonna get gamepass and try that out. So far the only Google play game I've been wanting to use it with is pubg but It doesn't quite work with pubg but it works great with call of duty mobile. Gonna try out some recommended google play games soon.
How is it so far? Just bought mine also and now I dont know if i regret it cause of this new controller. 😐
@@nomdomz0-011 im loving it so far. Still haven't tried game pass with it yet but I enjoy using it for the Google play games so far. There's alot that are compatible with the backbone so I think you will enjoy it. Let me know that you think.
@@nomdomz0-011 I've also been looking at other controllers just In case but I don't regret my purchase at all so far.

@@nomdomz0-011I sold my backbone and ordered the. Backbone has best software but the analog sticks kind of sucks in my opinion. Impatiently awaiting my g8 next week

I really wish that they would update the GameSir X2 Pro and add a headphone jack to it. That reason alone is why I went with a Backbone controller instead.
I really hope they come out with more color options for this controller.
The plastic faceplates are removable, in no time there will be a bunch of different colors or themes.

Good alternative for scalped PS Portal.
They have added some cool just to their App since it launce but Backbone is going to need to step their game up because their competitors are neck and neck with them. If I was looking at buying a controller for the first time and I saw this and the Backbone on the shelf side by side I would likely go with this over backbone.

I'm waiting for the next "G8" which will not need to be modified to handle 8-14" tablets, which will have its type C port on the right, which will have rumble, especially in black.

Anyone know what thumb grip works for it? I tried the Skull & Co for PS4/PS5 one but no luck. Perhaps I'm just not doing it right😅

I think the iPad mini would be too big. But you could buy it and if it doesn't fit, you can return it.
