"Measure what can be measured, and make measurable what extends beyond" is fairly valid English, even if it sounds weird. It's a play on Galileo's aphorism: "Measure what can be measured, and make measurable what cannot be." The descriptor for the "what" (a category of things) one should make measurable is in this case, "things that extend beyond" as opposed to "things that cannot be measured." The only weird bit grammatically is: extends beyond what? Though in modern English, "beyond" also refers to a great unknown, (though typically life after death, it can be used generally for any great unknown to be explored, including in realms of knowledge and terrestrial exploration).
gamesir is on the right path to creating the definitive telescopic gamepad, and thanks to the g8, I believe that other companies will have to do their best to catch up to gamesir in this regard. I hope flydigi pays attention to telescopic types, it would be incredible
9:14 What Hair Trigger does is that it registers any depress at any % of trigger pressure as complete depress. So if you press the trigger all the the way down, even if you release it just a tiny bit, it will "unpress" the input and let you press the trigger again without having to release it all the way back. Hair trigger is a very neat feature for any mapping software that works with analog triggers. Btw, that's a interesting telescopic ganepad. I have been looking into one of these and this one looks like something to consider
Thanks for the tear down! I've been using the game Sir G8 for a little bit now and definitely agree that is the best telescoping mobile controller out there.
Good review 👍🏻 Many pros with almost no cons Fast charging is not supported for all phones unfortunately And it's not as fast as plugging directly to the charger but not bad Ask them to send the new X2 S it has hall effect joysticks and triggers and it's half the price of this one
Yes, It's totally right, this is the best mobile telescopic gamepad on the market now! But beware mine has an issue now , after 2 months of usage USB -C port is a bit loose (broken), still working, but not with the phone case on.Im waiting now for replacement from the Gamesir store.
Your review video is very comprehensive, covers almost everything i needed to know. Now, just one last thing, how is the latency? Does the controller connects to the phone via USB-C port or via bluetooth? I have tried many controllers pairing with phones using bluetooth, the latency is not very satisfying when playing action games to be honest. flydigi apex 4 is very very responsive when im playing on PC connecting through dongle / wired connection. but not so much when i need to pair it with android via bluetooth, which is a slight disappointment because its not as snappy as it is when im playing on PC.
It is interesting to see how you disassemble the galileo g8+ and compare it with this controller. Where are the bluetooth power supplies and where are the vibration motors soldered
you might add one con at the end of the video the passthrough charge is not supported on every phone: some phone can fast charge, some slow/normal charge, and some don't charge at all
someone says its not compatible with latest iPhone ios? and yes, many games dont work well? do i need a mapping app first and map every game? feels so nice, this device, but so many games dont really work on my iphone 15

oh, so it's the same terminology as wooting's rapid trigger

As someone considering buying an android tablet for streaming my gaming pc, this is exactly what I was looking for.

from the sound, i think it's used more solid dpad switch but in result harder to press diagonal
If you want a different colorway, check the Redmagic Shadow Blade 2. It's basically a G8, but rebranded.
except it doesn't have xinput mode
you might add one con at the end of the video

Is there a drop of sound quality when you use the G8’s own 3.5mm audio port compared to using the phone’s?

Seems like gamesir would launch a pro version sometime in future and put rumble motors in those slots.
Do you think this would work with a case with a popsocket stuck on it?
No
Waiting for Gamesir REAL ellite controller. Which can be competitive to Flydigi Apex 4. Especially after gulikit failure.
Quick queston. What controller is your recomendation for $20 - $40 ?
My budget really tight..😅😅
a telescopic controller?
or a normal gamepad?
@@VKsChannel a normal gamepad.
Does G8 have the auto shutoff feature now? The previous Gamesir USBC controller drain 10~15% phone battery over night if not unplugged.
No you have to manually turn it off
@@VKsChannelDoes it not go into sleep mode after around 10 minutes of no activity?
I have a question. If you remove the faceplate, are the diagonals easier to press?
no
Does the gamesir also work on The GamesirVX aimbox because I don't see it in the options please anyone here can help me
when will you review flydigi apex 4?
does the USB pass though work with data and AV?
No, just charging
just curious, did the type c support audio output ? I only got a type c earphone.
no, just charging
I need a comparison against the BSP D9
Bought one, gonna review it soon
No Xinput for this controller even on Android?
No
Only dinput but it works with xbox cloud just fine
There's the Easy SMX M10 if someone has a tighter budget.
BSP controllers are cheaper
Gamesir X2s hall effect out now. Got one for U$35 on Aliexpress.
Please we need the new umboxing ghe flidijy apex 4
its on the way
nice thumbnail lol
Just picked one up and nothing happens when it connects woth the phone 😂🤷🏻♂️
Remove the case
Maybe the phone is not compatible. What processor does it has?
Razer kishi ultra watching and says hold my beer 🍺 lol 😁
You cannot do haduken with this controller ... so it's not the best.
