Look at the slide wear on this GSG 1911 slide stop, I had one of these guns that wore out the slide stop at the 600 round mark. I rep[laced the slide with an after market slide (CWA EXoSKELETON) and then sold the gun after a while...
It is an issue because it's an aluminum Slide, but I have at least a couple thousand rounds through it and it has never failed to lock back on the last round. Frankly I have never heard of it being a problem for anyone except for looks. Some manufactures like Ruger on the SR22 put a steel pin in that area for that reason. To my knowledge Every 22 LR pistol has an Aluminum Slide because a 22LR round is not powerful enough to cycle a steel slide. Thanks for your imput. I Love the gun.
@@ATS357 you're right there is a little piece of plastic back there but the robber in front of of it wasn't clear it out. I also put a little drop of oil back
I pick up my first 1911 tomorrow & will buy this grip for it. I rented a 1911 & liked it except for the small grip. I wear 2XL gloves.

Put one of these on my Taurus 1911 and I love it. Been looking around online for any negatives or cons about these grips and can't find any

I had to do the exact same thing and I used an exacto knife
It is to bad they didn’t cut it a little deeper , but I love the grip!
