Great tutorial! Very clear directions. You made something that's seemingly very complicated fairly simple. Thanks for the additional tip of how to color the cuts.
Thank you for this video great explanation. Do you have an tutorials on how to do the same but with shapes...like bunny, star, heart, house and so forth. I have tried to take this tutorial and make it work to what I need and I am struggling.
This is really for use when you want to make regular shapes. But you can definitely alter the puzzle after you get the lines in place. They are just lines so you can shape them any way you like. Just realize that for this to work you need to make your shapes from 2 horizontal and 2 verticle lines.
The stroke doesn't matter because the laser only cuts along the stroke. It doesn't cut the thickness of the stroke. I normally set my strokes at .25 when designing.
No matter what I do, when I turn the rotate the second layer to line up with the original layer, the pieces don't line up and I have overlapping connected pieces. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you so much for the tutorial videos and I learned so much in a short amount of time. Very educational and easy to follow.
THIS IS GREAT TUTORIAL! THANK YOU!!!

Great tutorial! If I wanted to make different shapes within the puzzle how would you suggest I do that.

I have a couple in the works. Please let me know if there is something you are looking to learn.
