I slowly lost that routine because of work and college and now I feel like shit again 😂 I'm trying to get back on track and I have to remind myself everyday how good I used to feel back then...
Pedro Henrique Sleep inception is not the answer. Normal sleep=1^1, sleep in your dreams=1^2, sleep in your Dream while you sleep in another dream=1^3... mathematically it will always be just 1.
@Devil’s Advocate, can you please define ‘proper human being’? I have a feeling that everyone meets that criteria. Let’s see, shall we? 1: Is a human 2: Exists. Bam. *Proper Human Being.* Also, extra points for kindness, a quality that you seem to lack.
The experts always say “ get enough sleep” as if it were that easy. If I could sleep more than three hours a night, I would be happy to do so. Insomnia is real!! 😩
I can say through experience that the absolute best way to start waking up early is to go to bed at a consistent time. I used to take a nap every day and go to bed at around 12:00 a.m. I would then wake up around 8-9 a.m. Now, I go to bed at around 10: 30 consistently without any naps throughout the day and I wake up without an alarm clock around 6:30 feeling energized.
@@velicancomert Exhaust yourself at work and go to bed at 10:30. Do this every single day until your body catches the drift and you will get used to that hour, being your sleep hour. Even if you can't sleep at that hour, just lay in bed, trying to sleep. You might not have to exhaust yourself at work, but it might help.
1.) Stop snoozing - Sleep cycle 2.) Get enough sleep-wake up same time everyday 3.) Rehydrate & get the blood flowing & exercise for energy -first thing in the morning 4.) Avoid screens before bed- 2hours before bed(flux, twilight)
Can you answer these 3 questions? (I'm doing Market Research) 1. What do you feel when you can't sleep ? 2. If you had 3 wishes, what whould they be? (about sleep) 3. What do you Believe is the main solution for your Problem?
We can all learn to wake up without an alarm. But not if we sit on our phones all night or watch Tv, or eat before bed. Our natural sleeping hours should be 8pm to 4 am. If everyone did this they would wake up at 4 am without an alarm. Most people would not do this because they don’t have enough discipline
Richard Tooth you think it’s simply lack of discipline? Some of us have to work and study. I arrive from college at midnight and have to wake up 6 am to go to work. It’s not lack of discipline!!
I noticed that the earlier I go to bed, the more energized and "awake" I am the next day - even if the amount of sleep is the same as if I go to bed late. My problem is: I like staying up and going to bed late. I am more creative late at night.
Tbh, its not the school's fault why we arent able to have enough sleep, Its actually us that doesnt manage our time well with entertainment and studying, I always regret when I don't do homeworks and projects earlier but I havent changed 😑 But i still managed to finish everything in a day which was so stressful and I didnt want to experience that again but ugh...I still havent changed after years of doing the same habit 😅
@@francesjoshuacomo5485 I know that feeling... so many times i have promised myself i will do my things before the deadline but most of the time i still do it on the same day, or finish on the same day as the deadline. But i haven't lost faith that one i will conquer this and feel less stressed as a result. We can do it!
@@francesjoshuacomo5485 i would same yes but when i was in highschool i always had WAY too much homework. I knew how to time manage and i did. I worked in the car on the way to and back from school as well as through lunch. It was common for me to be up until 11/12 doing homework.
1. stop snoozing 2. get enough sleep (you shoud go sleep on the same time and wake up all the week) 3. rehydrate and get the blood flowing (drink lots of water in the morning and do some workout, strechting..) 4. avoid screens before bed
A while ago I started leaving my blinds open at night, and then I would wake up naturally when the sun got bright enough (about 8am). I know not everyone can do that, but it’s helped me more than any one of these tips
That works for me too as long as I get to bed at a good time. That’s my favorite way to wake up in the summer, with the sun shining in and the birds chirping. Not as easy in the winter though, the different light and dark cycles throw me off.
Make a to do list(planner)the day before. It will help you to get a clear vision about the day and make you more relaxed in the morning (if you can start any of the task at the night itself-much better😇)
From reading all the comments, I’m seeing the best way to get good sleep and wake up feeling better (from my experience as well) is your routine. If you go to bed anytime, eat snacks, don’t drink water or shower, watching RUclips videos it won’t help. But someone who goes to bed generally around the same time, taking time to pray or read before bed, and taking care of physical needs before sleep would probably sleep better. The discipline gained from these little habits not only can make you feel so much better but help you be more disciplined in so many other areas of life
Another tip is to actually have a strong purpose to wake up early. Your body might be ready to wake but if your mind feels that there is nothing important to do, it will automatically induce sleepiness. For example, if you want to wake up early on a normal day, it would be tougher compared to waking up early to study/catch a flight or a train etc..
That certainly is an important part of it. I have to get up at 5:20am for workdays but on saturdays, I _do_ need to get up somewhat early as there's still stuff to take care of but the "eh... I can just start a bit later" tries reeeally hard to take over.
1. do not snooze snoozing only makes you more tired “sleep cycle” 2. get enough sleep sleep on the same time for a week to know the amount of sleeping time u need 3. get hydrated and do some exercise drink water and do some exercise after u wake up 4. avoid blue light 2hours before u sleep replace with books (flux, twilight)
1 snoozing is great because you can stay away from reality for more time 2 don't get any sleep because it's useless and boring and u can't eat when sleeping 3 don't excersize or hydrate, excersizing will hurt your body making you unable to sleep and when u drink water u will need to pee while sleeping 4 don't avoid lights or else the shadow monster will get you
Thank you for this video! We all know this stuff (most of it, at least), yet we all tend to repeat same mistakes over and over again… Cheers to you, the Creator!
VlaDuZa It’s been proven that the schools schedule does not align with the natural circadian cycle of teenagers; and no matter what you do, school will always wake you earlier than your body clock intends. It’s been scientifically proven; so it is in fact schools fault

@@vantoo7 you don't actually need the sleep to be energized and stuff as a teen (in school), the reason for the high sleep time is because you need to grow and etc.
Clearing ur bowel in the morning is extremely important.Take 2 tablets of triphala (max 3) every night before you go to bed. Triphala is an ayurvedic Indian mix of herbs available in the form of tablet and churna (powder) in all the ayurvedic pharmacies. You won't snooze anymore. Go to toilet half awake and come out fully refreshed. This keeps you active throughout the day and you get sleep on time. Try, it really works.
@Zatoichi Ayurveda has made it simpler to understand how the five elements control our mind and body. We are made up of five elements I.e. Earth, water, fire, air and space. Each one of us have predominant combinations of elements that depends on our parents'. These combinations of elements are called Vata(air and space), Pitta (fire and water) and Kapha(Earth and water). Read about how the imbalance of five elements in our body controls our behaviour. Get ur pulse reading done by an ayurvedic physician. We can not completely change our body type but this can be controlled to some extent thru our food habbits according to our body type, ayurvedic medical guidance and spiritual lifestyle. Learn how to meditate. Eat fibre rich foods before ur meals. Most of the diseases attack a body because of unhealthy gut. You can try ayurvedic detox programs as well.
About tip 4, I think you can activate the “orange screen mode” even without apps, if you’re on iPhone. You can just go to the control center (the menu with a lot of features that pops up when you swipe upwards 2 times), hold down the luminosity bar and select the button that says “Night shift mode”. The screen will go a little darker but also will become way more orange.
This is an old video) Android and iOS (and Windows) received this feature almost simultaneously in 2018, if I'm not mistaken. So, yeah, you can and should use embedded gadget solutions. Also you better leave gadgets anyway before bed just to make your brain calm down and stop analyzing information.
If you go to Dr. Mike videos he said that, yes, "orange screen mode" can help with the "chemical part" but using ur phone before bed can have others bad effects too, like anxiety by looking at social media or deadlines, stress bc u thought about work or lost a game and even sadness cause u finished ur netflix show that night and the list goes on... So yeah, is not only about the light from ur phone.
@@x0vg5hs1 "Just put away your phone" That's my point lol. My comment was to say that people shouldn't think it's just the light that is hurting ur sleep.

I would like to add something For people saying it's difficult to wake up without an alarm, it is difficult yet possible, (religion aproach here) in Islam back then before phones and alarms were invented people used to wake up for Fajr prayer (early in the morning) everyday without missing it, we have our biological clock, if we have a healthy sleeping schedule as it says in the video it would work Other thing is that, in Islam we wake up for fajr to pray, and it's that kind of exercice which is not tiring but energizing as described in the video, you can check how a prayer is made to see the specific movements that could help your body in an efective way Both of these were practiced 1400+ years ago, I just wanted to add that these tips and habits were practiced years ago and now are proved by science Thank you for reading this, I wish you a healthy sleeping schedule and a healthy life 🙏🏻💜
Brother please don't ...,you are like saying that prays are a habit and that wrong Prays is not a habit and not a workout, Please stop saying stuff is not ur specialization . @@ayampencen6363 you have circadian rhythm (brain's clock), that will be start rewiring itself everytime you'll wake up early & yes one day you'll start waking up without alarms.

Thats why in america most islam there are have many wrong thoughts about islam because of you people! People saying any stuff that is good with ur feelings! Islam is a concept that wouldnot change whenever the time change it will stay the same But the people mind will change with changing time So stop misrepresentation the real islam as you like? Ok?
My main tip: do NOT think! I often laid in bed and kept monologuing my feelings in whole novels to myself to work through whatever emotions I had from the last day. And I couldn't fall asleep that way, because I was concentrating on all these thoughts. What helped me a lot is to write these thoughts down beforehand, even if I just type it into my phone and then delete it again, it helps a lot to organize my feelings and have some closure. When in bed I would actually sometimes think to myself: Don't think. Think of nothing. Nothing... Nothing... I know it sounds and even feels stupid but it helps me a lot to focus on this word to not drift away with my thoughts. I guess it could work with anything. So anytime you feel your thoughts drifting, shift it back to a pre set boring word. I always fall asleep a lot faster that way! :)
I have the same problem and also sometimes say in my head: "nothing, nothing, nothing, ..." Just avoid thinking. In many cases I've fallen asleep soon after.
This is really true. My insomnia is kicking again and one thing I realized is that my thoughts were chaotic at that time to the point I couldn't relax and sleep. I started doing sleeping hygiene when pandemic started and it really helped a lot. One thing I realized is to relax and think of nothing.
Oh hey everyone! If you're someone who wakes up feeling tired every morning, here I am listing few things I follwed that helped me wake up feeling energetic and might help you as well. 1. Keep your phone down 1 hour before going to bed 2. You might read a book or practice a self care routine in that 1 hour 3. Try sleeping early, for example at 10 pm or 9 pm as per your convenience. I prefer waking up early in the morning because I feel the most productive during that time. Thank you for reading.
I noticed after about a week i started waking up feeling at least not tired anymore if not refreshed exactly by not eating anymore crap food everyday and exercising. I eat better food such as nuts, cottage cheese, frozen fruit and vegetables, and wheat sandwiches with lean ham and low fat mayonnaise. It has already made such a big difference!
Oh honey... Cheese is NOT healthy. Its the fat from milk, or like, butter. I know u need fat, but cheese is so unhealthy. If u really want cheese, buy s low fat one. Girls help girls out, thats why im helping u, and givong u tips. Im really not trynna hate❤️
Mor Datter Tid everything is healthy in moderation, and cottage cheese is better than other types. If this person’s body feels better eating those things, we shouldn’t interfere
I've used Sleep Cycle for six years now. It keeps statistics of your sleeping habits and it's awesome to look back and see how you've done with your sleep habits and the amount of sleep you get. And it works, you definitely wake up easier
But how does it know when I fall asleep? Sometimes it takes literal hours before I fall asleep at all, sometimes I just stay awake throughout the whole night.
Reading or thinking great quotes or statements in the morning sets me up for a great day. Today I feel strong and energetic. I wake up with purpose, direction and meaning for my life!
I've felt that during the days I exercise in the morning , I feel more energetic the whole day and I don't feel like taking a power nap mid day . That's what helped me the most ...
I really have a lot of anxiety in the evening and before i go to bed. This is why i watch Netflix till the last second. Or i scroll on my phone endlessly. I need to find a better way to deal with anxiety before bedtime.
Sounds pretty risky to experiment without an alarm clock for those of us with work and school. In fact, just today my alarm didn't go off and I was late to work. And my body naturally gets energized as soon as the sun goes down.... So not sure what to take away from this video tbh
If you get in a routine of going to bed everyday at the same time, you'll eventually start waking up at the same tame everyday. And then you can still have your alarm just in case, but you'll probably wake up before it even goes off.
Thanks. I will not snooze and Drink water before bed and have a perfect breakfast and stop using gadgets at 9:30 am and sleep 11pm and wake up 7:30 am - 8 am and have a exercise in the morning 💪
The game changer for me has been taking a cold shower on waking, also at other times of day. I just turned off my hot water. I've had delayed phase sleep disorder (ie extreme night owl) but this has greatly normalized my sleeping patterns
Wait srsly? Like i havent waken up feeling energised/refresh in so many years that i cant remember the last time. And ive had trouble sleeping/falling asleep since forever. Which pretty much lead to what u said... Did that srsly help u?
One thing that improved my sleeping drastically, and yes i know it's difficult for many people, is reducing your intake of alcohol and tobacco. Avoid coffee in the morning and stay away from energy drinks. A little walk or at least a breath of fresh air can do miracles as well as sleeping with a window slightly open, plus,of course, the very good advice in this video! 😉
This channel did not end up helping me... but i DID get what i wanted by this time... telling a completely depressed person these things does not help.
I've tried all, no help. Learned to follow my instinct and sleep only when tired. I sleep exactly 4,5 hours per night and take a 15 minute nap around 6pm. Works for me better than any common sleep pattern.
I get up the same time(4:30 am)60 min.workout seven days a week, train my pro & amateur fighters….and handle all my other business daily….and I’m in bed 7 days a week by 8:30….and I only drink essentia water….once I found internal peace & discipline…it was arguably the greatest feeling in my life.🥊🥊
Thank you!!!! I just had a very long period of depression and anxiety, my doctor gave me medicines and now i feel kinda better but i’m so freaking tired all the time so i wanna fix mt sleeping schedule!! I will update in a few weeks how it’s going.

Thing is, that is the most difficult part for most people having an average job and kids or even a private life. I know from holidays my natural sleeping cycle in summer is like 0.30 to 9 o'clock. But my works starts at 8 o'clock. So, of course I will have problems starting the day "refreshed". ;)

A quick tip- Place your alarm at full volume, but place it a little far away from bed. Place a glass of water nearby. Then when you go walk over to the alarm, u would mostly spot the glass of water and drink it. It will help you get rid of a little laziness.
I think it also helps to take a night walk before going to bed, even in the winter, for at least 5 minutes (light walk). And stretch before bed. It’s funny that the same advice also applies for when you wake up haha!
obviously important points here, but I think everyone knows these. For me personally, I would struggle to fall asleep and then always wake up tired. Or I'd have to go to sleep 9 hours before I want to wake up which is really inconvenient and hard to do. The 1 thing I noticed is that 1) it feels easier to go to bed later and later each night and the only time I ever get good sleep was when I am very busy throughout he day and expended mental energy. It turns out I was doing too little, doing the same habits everyday that took no effort or mental energy, and doing that doesn't make me tired until much later, but when I do go to bed much later, I still have to get up early and then it starts my day off horribly because I am tired. Challenging myself mentally throughout the day is obviously good for my brain, but it allows me to fall asleep with ease and wake up feeling energized. Im all about being disciplined and doing things you don't want to do, but forcing yourself to wake up early when you feel so tired is honestly just not good for you
I’ve found the routine boys. 1.) down a bottle of water when you wake up 2.) stretch 3.) go sicko mode on a heavy bag, or just run 4.) shower 5.) go to school and sleep
Idk but maybe motivation? When you know that you don't have to go to school and you can play video games or sports for the rest of the day your more likely to wake up than doing something you feel is boring

Another great one. Snoozing is like saying ”I hate waking up so I’ll do it over and over :D” (found this gold in The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod). I recently started going to gym after work and man it feels great. I was surprised to find that I go tired and I get out full of energy. Btw I use sleep cycle and twilight and they are both great apps. Another good things to do: write in a journal to empty your head and listen binaural beats with some light stretching in bed.
Hey, thanks for commenting! I too am always surprised how well rested I feel after hitting the gym, even though I've been witnessing the effect for years. However I don't find much value in journaling. I prefer to plan my day if anything :)
I do journaling just document my highlights of the day and write out the worries. There goes stuff I won’t tell anyone so It’s like talking to a friend that always listens and never gives out secrets haha. Planning the next day is huge! I can say through experience that the absolute best way to start waking up early is to go to bed at a consistent time. exactly. I'm already fired!

#2: Get enough sleep
Why hadn’t I thought of that?
🤯
time available: 24 hours, sleep needed: 25 hours... well i am fucked
The discipline gained from these little habits not only can make you feel so much better but help you be more disciplined in so many other areas of life
Random thought but I love how you said physical needs, it covers so many things.
Clearly she's talking specifically about sex

Another tip is to actually have a strong purpose to wake up early. Your body might be ready to wake but if your mind feels that there is nothing important to do, it will automatically induce sleepiness.
For example, if you want to wake up early on a normal day, it would be tougher compared to waking up early to study/catch a flight or a train etc..
But I have no purpose
But the problem with me is that I would rather do almost anything in the world than study, let alone sleep!
That certainly is an important part of it. I have to get up at 5:20am for workdays but on saturdays, I _do_ need to get up somewhat early as there's still stuff to take care of but the "eh... I can just start a bit later" tries reeeally hard to take over.
1. do not snooze
snoozing only makes you more tired
“sleep cycle”
2. get enough sleep
sleep on the same time for a week to know the amount of sleeping time u need
3. get hydrated and do some exercise
drink water and do some exercise after u wake up
4. avoid blue light 2hours before u sleep
replace with books
(flux, twilight)
Thankyou! You save my 5 minutes
1 snoozing is great because you can stay away from reality for more time
2 don't get any sleep because it's useless and boring and u can't eat when sleeping
3 don't excersize or hydrate, excersizing will hurt your body making you unable to sleep and when u drink water u will need to pee while sleeping
4 don't avoid lights or else the shadow monster will get you

Its orange cuz ithe screen is trying to give off less blue light that prevents u from sleeping
For people saying it's difficult to wake up without an alarm, it is difficult yet possible, (religion aproach here) in Islam back then before phones and alarms were invented people used to wake up for Fajr prayer (early in the morning) everyday without missing it, we have our biological clock, if we have a healthy sleeping schedule as it says in the video it would work
Other thing is that, in Islam we wake up for fajr to pray, and it's that kind of exercice which is not tiring but energizing as described in the video, you can check how a prayer is made to see the specific movements that could help your body in an efective way
Both of these were practiced 1400+ years ago, I just wanted to add that these tips and habits were practiced years ago and now are proved by science

Thank you, i won't think that much at night, instead i will write down my thoughts!
Some nights i always these thoughts too. Thanks for the tip 👍

Im all about being disciplined and doing things you don't want to do, but forcing yourself to wake up early when you feel so tired is honestly just not good for you
I will definitely apply these tips in my life and Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful video. 😀❤️

Better then Yesterday: *Get enough sleep.*
School: *We don't do that here.*
d0minik sps you really out here copying other comments
@@colevanner1510 Well just because i have the same conment like some other guys it doesn't mean i have copied them.
@@colevanner1510 I see why you are mad, you have nearly the same comment, but there are about 100 comments with the same content so yeah, stop complaining about 'copied comments' :)
Why are y'all blaming school?? If it's anybody's fault it's yours for not fixing ur sleeping schedule
I too am always surprised how well rested I feel after hitting the gym,
even though I've been witnessing the effect for years.
Maybe you can do a video on how to break complex tasks into smaller ones and schedule them for doing trough your week?
Clearing ur bowel in the morning is extremely important.Take 2 tablets of triphala (max 3) every night before you go to bed. Triphala is an ayurvedic Indian mix of herbs available in the form of tablet and churna (powder) in all the ayurvedic pharmacies. You won't snooze anymore. Go to toilet half awake and come out fully refreshed. This keeps you active throughout the day and you get sleep on time.
"light stretching in bed"
Giggidy
@@GeekyMinoNice idea brother... 😍😍
1) stop snoozing - use app sleep cycle
2) get enough sleep - go sleep at the same time every day
3) rehydrate and get blood flowing - drink water and exercise in morning
4) avoid screens befor bed
Reality: This is actually so helpful, I’m doing this every school morning. *hits snooze next morning.*
Me and my doctors have been trying to get to the bottom of why I sleep so poorly, I try your methods for a week and my sleeping has improved. What the hell are they getting paid for? 😳. Thanks for the great hints and tips.
Smoke some bud. You'll sleep like a baby
Everyone is talking about the video itself but can we just appreciate the drawing skills. 😅
:avoid screens before bed
*so do you want me to look at this video?*
SpillTheTea xox 😂👏 I know
Yes but not just before bed
Look at this video, and next days do what you learned from this video.
thank you very much. it changed my life
"Get this app to track your sleep cycle"
Yeah No thanks, FBI.
Straight up
Actually, I use that app but on airplane mode so I don't have EM fields near my head while I sleep.
My smart watch does it for me.
@@HarmonicWave That's a myth, EM fields exist wherever electricity is, and frankly, don't do much to you
I'm kinda special, when I sit in my sofa and read stuff on my phone I get super sleepy lol... it's the getting up from the sofa and going to bed that wakes me up
I feel the same exact way
When you have to wake up for school at 6 but you’re up at 12:25
TheAlphaSpartan same tho.
Same.
TheAlphaSpartan when you have to wake up for school at 6 and you’re up at fucking 2am doing 3 labs, studying for a bio exam and a math tast
Omg hahaha so truee
TheAlphaSpartan I stayed up this late because I though it was a saturday
“Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am mild-tempered and lowly in heart, and you will find refreshment for yourselves. For my yoke is kindly, and my load is light”
Can't tell if this was said by Jesus or by Johny Sins.
@@brontosa5351 Definitely Jesus!
Person: makes video about how to wake up not tired
Depression: I’m about to wreck this mans whole career.
Can relate, so fucked up :/
Get help
*get enough sleep*
School and collage: we don’t do that here
How is this school and college fault lol
Exactly 😂🤕
Sebaa Garcia well I’m at a strict six form with strict parents. I need certain grades and to do that I have to study or revise until very late
Sebaa Garcia Well, I have to catch the bus at 6:45 which means I have to wake up at the latest 6 o clock. Then, I take so and honors classes and also play basketball so even on a non game night I get home at 6:30 then homework so unless I go to sleep as soon as I finish my homework, don’t have to walk my dog, don’t have tondo any chores, don’t eat dinner and don’t play any video games or do any fun I can get 10 hours of sleep but I’m not gonna give up those things, and this doesn’t even include game days. And I’m not even in college.
But no, it’s not schools fault
Hahaha I got that avengers reference
I separate early deep sleep and morning REM with a break period. “Wake Back To Bed”, tends to induce Lucid dreams for me too. Either way, I feel more refreshed when I do that. For me it’s about 5 hours then WBTB, and then 3 hours of amazing vivid dreams to help sort my mind.
I do this for fun sometimes to get some cool dreams
What does this even mean? You wake up In the middle of the night
Lord Knows lucid dreaming
How long is the break period?
Dunno what you mean
Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
