Finally watched it all now. This run is beyond insane. Obviously because it has 5 golds, 5 new best split times, some community bests. But also because of the pretty significant time losses. You even paused for 2-3 seconds after you failed the toxic maze blj, and in the end you still got WR by 15 seconds! This just shows how insane your skill level is, because most runners couldn't afford those big time losses and still WR by that much. Cheese was absolutely right when he said you are the goat of SM64. Congrats again, I'm so happy for you, this alone made my day.

Yes WR in 2 of them currently a fwr holder now top 3 in 16 and runner up in 1 star, and he runs other games to which that is a little crazy because not many to runners for mario 64 runs other games, he should also do 0 star so he can be top 3 in all 5

This might be a hot take, but I honestly think time losses like the dropped blj in hmc can help get runs deeper... the pressure of constantly knowing that a run is perfect can be overwhelming and cause a much bigger mistake or meltdown later
At face value this is beyond incredible. Somehow it gets more unbelievable the deeper one analyzes what you've done here. During your run you perform hundreds upon hundreds of orientation movements, spacial placement maneuvers, and intricately exercise fine granular camera control based on whatever your current task requires. This is what I find to be the most impressive part of this achievement! All it would take is a small deviation from your planned route to become disoriented and potentially lose time or force a restart... But even when there was one of your very, very few minor missteps in this run, you immediately had a contingency in place and were able to reorient yourself to your desired spacial placement and direction. This is beyond Super Mario 64. This is a vehicle on which you display a skill set that is something entirely difficult to comprehend from an outside perspective. I know I sure don't have the ability to commit to rote memory the kind of detail required to never miss a single step in something so insanely complex. On top of processing your exact coordinates and plane of view at nearly the rate of a computer, you still have to physically control the character and deal with the game mechanics... This is amazing, and I congratulate you on your new personal best and of course the world record. Looking forward to more content sometime. You've set the bar really high, but I have no doubt you have the determination to succeed in something even more unbelievable.

For a while I was leaning towards Liam getting the new 120 star world record since a new one is soon to happen and he's been very consistent, but now after the carpetless discovery, it's anyone's game. Crazy that Puncay was one missed bowser throw away from possibly getting a 1:37:34 but ended up with a 1:37:45 because he got carpetless. I'm very excited for this journey!

I actually improved a skip that saves 0.2 seconds and I have never seen any speedrunner doing it. When you enter the second key door. You can climb trough the ceiling and end on the stairs. Everyone knows that, but if you time correctly, you can save some time if you press Z exactly before Mario climbs up. Like if you 'ground pound'. The ground pound will fail and mario will say 'ugh' but ends up above the ceiling. This causes Mario skipping the climbing animation which is clearly faster. Because the climbing animation would normally reset the speed of Mario to zero and even freezes Mario for 0,1 second after that.
Watching true expert gamers like this is humbling, I played for months just to beat the game and this guy gets every last star in the time it takes me to get past the first Bowser fight.
The speed run was less than 2 hours but it took me 3 hours to watch it because I kept having to rewind to find out how he was even doing half of the stuff. It’s unreal!
This run was insane. Liam is coming back for his wr though. But omfg 1:37:35 with a missed bowser throw is nuts. If Liam didn't miss his bowser throw and mess up sky you'd still beat him. This is the most nutty run, I didn't even see it live but I was edging the whole time.

I was positive it would have blown up overnight. It's pretty insane that it has not. This is a monumental moment. I had tears in my eyes the last five minutes of the run, it was so fun to watch. I find these so fascinating but they make me feel like I have no video game skills. In about 90 minutes you did what took me a year or longer. The last sky world was such a nightmare, can't count the number of times Mario lost a life in that level.

I don't think you all realize how crazy this run in particular is. This is one of the best 120 Star World Records in SM64 history!!! TWO COMMUNITY BESTS AND 4 GOLDS! I can only count one or two BIG mistakes in this run. The beginning was insane and there were virtually no big time losses aside from missing that Blue coin in BBH and missing the elevator BLJ in HMC. All other mistakes were minor mistakes, costing 5 seconds or less. If Weegee can clutch out a run this good, god only knows how far he could take this category!
Missed bowser throw and the TTC mistake in the beginning are two time losses that come in my mind aswell. But I think those time losses show even more how insane his skill is. He can get WR even though he has huuge time losses.

I don't think you all realize how crazy this run in particular is. This is one of the best 120 Star World Records in SM64 history!!! TWO COMMUNITY BESTS AND 4 GOLDS!
I can only count one or two BIG mistakes in this run. The beginning was insane and there were virtually no big time losses aside from missing that Blue coin in BBH and missing the elevator BLJ in HMC. All other mistakes were minor mistakes, costing 5 seconds or less. If Weegee can clutch out a run this good, god only knows how far he could take this category!
Missed bowser throw and the TTC mistake in the beginning are two time losses that come in my mind aswell. But I think those time losses show even more how insane his skill is. He can get WR even though he has huuge time losses.
