8 Bitdo also makes a USB dongle so you can Bluetooth whatever controller you want to the Switch. I used to use it with my PS4 controller for Mario Maker. It’s only like $20 or something. Totally worth it.

The screen still scrolls the same speed, regardless if you take the upper path or under the ship. It is however slower to go under the third ship, as you would have scrolled past the pipe before you are able to get up from the water again. For speedrunners, it's not really safer at all to go under though. There is not really a challenge of any kind taking the upper path and it's generally more fun for the player to do stuff. Additionally, going under the ship means that you constantly need to spam the A button in order to not drown, which is also more taxing then to go over the ship.

The craziest thing was saying that botched 7-7 clip in the missed WR run blew a run you could never do better than. This finished almost 10 seconds better than that one was projected to 😂 massive. It’s gonna be a minute before this one gets surpassed, just on favorable RNG let alone getting all three clips first try. AND that movement of four train costing 6 seconds by themselves 😂😂

didnt know there was a 100% in this game i always just played through every level. not knowing what the flutes for or the extra parts of the hubworld is for.
This run is going to stay on top for a long, long time barring someone doing the exact same run with W3Fort-Door 3 and W5Fort2-Jesus Clip. Even just getting nicer W5 HB movement could snag a few seconds... but holy shit this run was pristine.

You went from having to explain that jumping for the wand was stupid which it is unless you can get it off screen. To now having to explain where it actually saves you time I think that's progress. 😁👍
Man them D-pad complaints....hating Nintendos but wanting the Xbox controller Dpad is a comparison I've never heard, especially considering how mushy and gross the Xbox controller dpad is. The Pro controller is fantastic. It's very close to the DPAD of the older systems.
yeah i don't get what's so wrong about the pro controller d pad. Nintendo's only poor d pad was the GameCube. and xbox certainly doesn't have anything superior
