Well done on the 1900 munros, i finished my first round on Sat after 34 years , i did these 2 in a heavy mist , i forgot about the wild goats up there and one was behind me and sneezed i about sh*t my breeks 🤣

The best hill! Great to watch you going up the coire. We've climbed it twice but earlier this year we walked in to the back of An Teallach, from Gruinard to Loch na Sealga. Lovely to see the beautiful hills again xx

Hi Frank, Yes, we had hoped for a slightly clearer day but no complaints. I had hoped to drop into the other corrie and complete the loop, which would also given a memory blast as it was Feb 1984 the last time I was there... maybe next time. Cheers

Hi Tim, Carn Liath at Blair Atholl has the largest number of visits (16) but a lot of that is to do with location and the ease of access for us throughout the whole year. The memories and adventures are simply too many to detail but I've enjoyed 40 odd years of the Scottish hills in the early days with my Dad when we were pretty active in our local climbing/walking club. Weekends away in club huts throughout Scotland were a particular favourite..... Happy days. Favourite tops are always difficult as there are many aspects that contribute to a memorable outing but Liathach is probably at the top. I can still remember the first time I saw this snow capped mountain in a cold, moonlight sky.... truly stunning. Skye and the northwest highland tops are always a joy to visit and we have been fortunate to experience many annual walking weeks across the country..... we've just got to keep going until the wheels fall off. Cheers

Just a note. If in heavy rain after several days, the river is not passable at the start of the video. You can take your boots off and find a safe passage however.
Well, that is special, Charlie. What a hero! Are you going for 2000 now? When you climb a summit twice on the way to and from a Munro do you count it towards the next round? ( e.g. Carn Ghuslaid from Lundie) Were you tempted to take a skinny dip to celebrate! Many, many congratulations.
Hi Geoffrey, We only count the Munros on the day and not revisits or passovers, unless you manage to touch the roof of the car in between the tops 🤣 "Skinny dip".... I've three layers on just to keep warm on a good day, so nae chance 🤣 Cheers

And congrats on the 1900 - wow 😗Long way away for me as I started too late in life at 67 and so far only on 10 which is also a nice round number albeit somewhat smaller 😉 BTW do you have a map of your route which is 6km shorter than Walkhighlands' route. I guess you started somewhere opposite Dundonnell House? And followed the burn with the same name as the corrie? And did you come down the same way? Hi Karl, We started on the A832 at NH113856. The start is a bit messy but the path runs up the north side of the burn. We made the mistake of crossing the burn and going up the south side of the waterfalls, although the views of the falls are better from this side. You simply follow the north side of the burn up into the corrie as the path is pretty obvious. We returned by the same route. Take care... Cheers

Another great walk in parts very steep and a little treacherous. Like me your attached to those poles which make life 💯 easier
