Hi Kevin, Really glad you enjoying viewing our adventures. Hopefully, a good snowy winter will give us something a bit different for a change. Many thanks. Cheers
Hi Elizabeth, Its terrific that you enjoy watching our uploads as it's much appreciated. Hopefully many more to come if the winter weather behaves itself. Cheers
Hi Andy, Just can't fail in Glencoe when the weather is like this. A busy place but worth a visit when you have a stick on forecast for clear tops. Cheers
Hi Duncan, Yes, it was a stunning day, a bit cool at the start but the sun soon got to work. A busy glen as you would expect with an excellent forecast. Cheers
Hi Andrew, We've been waiting to get west for a while and finally we get a good forecast. It turned out a cracking day and it's always great getting back into Glencoe. Cheers
Hello, It was bloody cold first thing but things warmed up a bit through the walk. It's been a cool summer with a bit in the wind. A great day and a joy to be out. Many thanks. Cheers
As you say, Charlie, looks like you had a cracking day up these hills. Awesome videography, particularly shots showing ridge from Bidean to Stob Corrie nan Lochan! Thanks for uploading. 🏴🏔👍
Excellent video - very helpful for me to work out the route for my visit in a few weeks. I'm taking my waterproofs as i suspect i may not get the same weather!
Hi Micky, I hope you get similar weather conditions as the location is worth seeing. I've always thought the clockwise route is more enjoyable but it's all a matter of choice. Enjoy... and I'll keep my fingers crossed you get a good weather day 👍 Cheers
Wonderful! Thanks so much for sharing this film of a fantastic day out. We were on Buiachaille Etive Beag yesterday, though I suspect a bit later than you. It was really lovely and the weather, for once, couldn't have been better. It is such an amazing area there and as you pointed out it was extremely busy! Best wishes, Murdo
Hi Murdo, Its terrific that you had a great day but no real surprise with you being just up the road. Glencoe takes a bit of beating and it's nice to get a weather chance to visit for a change. Cheers
Hi Kev, Glencoe was manic both on and off the hill. Getting there early doors helped with parking but a bit crazy on our return. Great that you hit the north west for its first favourable weather window in a while and I hope your day was a cracker. Take care. Cheers
Well done guys looks like a cracking day yous got there ⛰️☀️⛰️ I’ve actually done Bidean a few times and my own preference is to do it in reverse 🔄 going up over scnl and down the lost valley a good few ways to do it and it’s up there with my best days out on the mountains 👍 the new car park looks tight I’ve not parked in it as yet but did drive past it i miss Glencoe that was a great watch gets me in the mood to go back up thanks David
Hi David, Glencoe is magic when conditions are settled and the great thing about hills is you get to choose your own route and you'll always find a variety particularly on Bidean. The car park certainly makes a difference but it isn't helped when numpties park outwith the bays and makes things difficult for others. That said, a car park double the size still won't be enough when the weather is like that. Cheers
Hi wilky, I think you are right, Autumn is well into second gear for us. It was obvious the hills were going to be busy with a settled weather day and just great getting a bit further west for a change. Hope you had a cracker. Cheers
What a great looking day Charlie. I have yet to do these 2, but I am looking forward to them after seeing this. It was in Glencoe where I 1st met Paul, Frank, Brian, Robert and Tam. We camped in the Lost.Valley. ATB Andy
Hi Andy, Its a great location for a wild camp and gives a remote feel from a relatively short distance from the car. I hope you get similar conditions when you get around to them. Take care. Cheers
Glencoe in the sunshine ☀️ what more could you want ? Bidean and SCS 🏔️🏔️ are a fantastic walk 🥾 captured in all there glory Charlie 😍 like you said i thought the Hidden Valley would have been busy 🏕️ another cracking video Charlie 👏 well done all three of you, atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian, Glencoe on a Sat in glories weather won't normally be our first choice but we were keen to get west again after a string of wet weeks. A magic day and a cracking wee route. Cheers
Hi Charlie, It is so sad but I have vertaly no memory of the mountains I have climbed, I have only very small bits, I love other people's videos, my favourite Ben Lui is very sketchy, Liathach is fresh but only about the severe drops involved, Me friends on you tube keeps my interest going . Cheers Mark!
Hi Mark, I know the feeling as occasionally we have various conversations about routes, tops and walking outings that start to blur....... getting old is just shit 🤣 If your only going to remember anything then Liathach and Ben Lui is a cracking start. Take care, Cheers
I record lots of footage and pictures and once the card is full I don't delete anything. Just buy a new one and keep every memory stored for when I can't recall stuff myself. 😢😂
@@alistairthow1384 Its certainly handy to be able to look back over past years images and movie clips for a memory jog. I've always got into the habit of formatting the memory card after each trip but not before I've copied everything to a master and backup disk. Its the belt and braces approach... 🤣
Hi Guys, wow, what a stunning day. Glen Coe in weather like that, is there any better place to be. Like you said, I though the floor of the hidden valley would have looked like Everest base camp with a forecast like that! Haha All the best guys 😀⛰🥾🏴
Hi Dave, A super day and they have been few and far between this season. Glencoe is always a treat in these conditions. I hope we have a few others similar days through Autumn. Take care. Cheers
Hello, Trying to predict the weather in Scotland can be a challenge but I would recommend a period between mid May through to June might give you the best chance for settled conditions. Cheers
Why can't we have this weather all the time 🤷♂️ Or atleast for a few weeks in the year? I had the same weather up Moruisg yesterday.. 😍 Think this weekend is meant to be nice again.
Hi itsablack, The weather weekend was looking good particularly for the north west for a change. Glad you had a good day on Moruisg yesterday. I've always thought the demoted top to the west is much more appealing and worth a visit. Cheers
@charliemccartney7055 to right I went to the Corbett as well... Only 4,5ft Short of being a Munro, and a nicer hill... Good views over to the hills I did the day before..Sgùrr Chòinnich and Sgùrr a'Chaorachain from the Corbett
Hi mrallyg, I have a GoPro Hero 9 and I capture video in 4k. I'm happy with the quality, stabilisation and how well it coups in the outdoors. I haven't felt a need to upgrade. Many thanks for watching. Cheers
Brilliant Charlie, glencoe in all its glory👍🏔☀️ SCS is a mighty fine summit, never quite seen it like that before. Good to see Michael out with you again. We were up in the Fisherfields same day with same weather, brilliant. ATB Frank
Hi Frank, I thought you might be up the northwest with the weekend forecast. Its about time that corner had some decent weather for a change and getting it like that for these tops is superb. Always great to eat away at your new hill total. Take care, Cheers
Videos are fantastic

Hi Neil, Glencoe on a busy Sat won't normally be our first choice but we didn't want to miss the stick on weather and it didn't disappoint 👍 Cheers
Another fine film Charlie, looked like Glencoe had a much needed breeze!
Hi Keiren, Yes, a fine breeze blowing down the glen but bloody cold with it. The tops were not nearly as bad 👍Cheers
That's one magnificent hill.
Hi Philip, Yes, I agree... it's a hill that has everything for walkers and climbers. Cheers
Cracking day for it Charlie! Stunning views. Cheers Duncan

A fine day chaps. 😎 Blue sky days bring oot the crowds. Bet the car park was busy. We were on An Teallach yesterday., car park and hill rammed.
