Hi, guys, brings back the memory of leaving my rucker where you left yours. Great day. Thanks a lot.
Hi Geoffrey, Its a cracking spot for a cup of tea and an opportunity to take in the views. Cheers
These are always great videos Charlie. Thanks for sharing them 🙏🏻
Hi Alan, Many thanks and really great you enjoy our uploads. Hopefully, many more to come through the coming months. Cheers
Love your videos. 🌌🌎🏴👣🙏
Hi Elizabeth, Its terrific that you enjoy watching our uploads as it's much appreciated. Hopefully many more to come if the winter weather behaves itself. Cheers
What a day for the Buchaille guys, stunning views all around and a brocken spectre and fogbow to top it all off, brilliant 👌 atb Brian 👍
Hi Brian, Many thanks. Just one of those Glencoe days that you dream about. Cheers
Wow Charlie, that was an outstanding hike, a must-do 😊. In June this year I‘ve been on it‘s neighbors Stob Dubh and Stob Coire Rainech. Thanks for sharing this great video 🙏. Cheers Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang, I thought this is one you would have completed on a previous visit. No matter, you have a treat coming in June and I hope the weather is on your side. We are heading to Glen Shiel for our walking week next year and looking forward to it already as we'll also have a trip across to Skye. Take care... Cheers
Nice ! Took shelter at the Youth Hostel for one night three weeks ago. Is the car park allowing overnight parking ?
Hi Donald, Sorry, I don't know the status of parking for Glen Affric. Cheers
Great video, loved the views with the autumn colours and the blue skies. Appreciated and enjoyed, thanks again 😊
Hi Les, Really glad you enjoyed this one in its Autumn colours. The glen was looking splendid with temperatures to reflect the season. Many thanks. Cheers
Great video Charlie! Brilliant footage, you really captured the place. Gony do it next March/April. Malkie fae Paisley.
Hi Malkie, Many thanks. I really hope you have a super clear day to fully enjoy the experience on this classic ridge. Cheers
Wow, stuning nature!! 😍 This looks sooo beautifull! Those Munros look insane - perfect day for an autum hike 🏞 Looks super chill on the top with that view! Can almost feel the fresh air thru the screen, haha! 😅Really nice video 👌
Hello, Many thanks, really glad you enjoyed this one. It was a cracking day and always a joy getting on these tops. Thanks for watching... Cheers
Great video - thanks for sharing!
Hi jk, Really glad you enjoyed this one, it was a super day. Many thanks. Cheers
Great video and an absolutely stunning place, definitely doing this one. Thanks for thi,
Fantastic views and great perspectives. Well done to you both. You must be getting near to 2000 Munro tops.
Hello, Yes, the total ticks on but focused on trying to hit the good weather slots on some of the classic tops. Cheers
Always a lovely mountain to explore, whatever route up you take. The "tourist path" tag of the main route up always leaves me cold as in any weather it can be a tough climb up especially to the head of the Coire
Hi Andrew, The tourist path label isn't correct for this hill and certainly leads walkers to think it's straight forward which definitely isn't the case through the winter months. It's not that long ago, I think, five walkers were killed in the Coire.... scary stuff. Cheers
What beautiful weather. To see a brocken spectre and a cloud bow on Buachaille. It really doesn't get much better. Wonderful xx
Hi Patricia, I agree, just doesn't get any better than this superb outing. Cheers
Brocken spectre, repeatedly! Often looked for it but never experienced it.
Hi Keith, There is certainly a bit of luck involved with getting yourself in front of cloud while the sun is behind you. A lot easier on a ridge or summit but unfortunately no guarantee either way. I hope you are successful one day. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers
Again, another brilliant video and the narration is excellent. Well done. 👍
Hi Jim, Really glad you enjoyed this one. Many thanks. Cheers
Great video, mate. My pals and I are heading up on Sunday to camp and do Mor and Beag. Hopefully get as nice weather as you had!
Hi Dylicano, Thank you. I hope you get similar weather so you can fully appreciate these super tops. Have a good one.... Cheers
Great video again. The views from the tops were great - so jealous. Been there twice; once clouded out the other torrential rain on the ridge. Must go back. Thanks again for your time taking these videos.
Hello, Many thanks and really glad you enjoyed this one. It's certainly worth another visit as the views and general ridge walk are a delight. I hope you get cracking weather when it comes around. Cheers
Looks like you two had perfect conditions for what looked to be a super day. Thanks once again for sharing 👍
Hi Marko, It was a cracking Autumn day and a joy to be on the tops. Cheers
What a fantastic place. Certainly dont need to travel far in Glencoe to find a trek to match your abilities. Its got it all.
Hi Alistair, I agree, Glencoe has something for everyone. Cheers
Cracking day both good views I can’t believe the middle peak isn’t a Munro, anyway wonderful video cheers Andy
Hi Andy, The middle peak much be close to a Munro. A stunning top and sits well with the other two. Cheers
Stunning views 😎 Well worth the climb 👍🏻 🍀
Hi Craig, Many thanks for taking the time to view as its much appreciated. Cheers
Great video. Beautiful conditions too 👍👍
Hi Stephen, Really glad you enjoyed this one... it was a joy. Cheers
Another excellent video. Some good weather at last!
Hello, Yes, a cracking settled day and not too cold for a change. Many thanks for taking a look. Cheers
Cracking day chaps. Love the Brocken & Fog bow 👌😎
Hi Kev, Yes, It was just one of those Autumn days ideal for walking the high ridges. Cheers
Brilliant! More great content Charlie, thanks for uploading!
Hi Tim, Really glad you enjoyed this one. It makes a difference when the forecast is on your side and you can enjoy the walk instead of battling the elements. A great day.... Cheers
Fabulous as usual Charlie. I last did that route back in 2021 in beautiful weather as well. Love the Brocken Spectre and cloud bow! I've never seen either! ATB Tam
Hi Tam, Its always great seeing a Broken Spectre and conditions were perfect yesterday. I'm sure you'll get a chance to see one at some point. Take care. Cheers
Another great video, Charlie, thanks for posting. 👍 Climbed this mountain by the same route you took back in 1994.
Hi Rosa, Its a classic mountain and the three tops make a super walk. It's terrific in the snow although slightly more challenging. Many thanks. Cheers
@@charliemccartney7055 :-)
What a fantastic day you got and it’s captured so well on the film here. Thanks again for another superb adventure. Not seen much sun on the hills recently but if you can go midweek that gives you more options! Best wishes Murdo
Hi Murdo, Yes, having the opportunity of more walking days through the week certainly helps. The car parks are quieter which is another bonus 👍 Cheers
Brilliant Charlie & Mike, brilliant conditions and what fantastic views in all directions, as you know I was up there recently and got terrific views as well. It was about 5 years since I was last up also. A magnificent mountain. ATB Frank
Hi Frank, We were similar in that it was six years from our last visit which was hard to believe. A great day with the tops and glen not quite as busy than our last trip a few weeks ago. I always get a memory blast when seeing Lagangarbh hut and can recall many weekend climbing club visits throughout the seasons. Happy days and a loads of fun. Cheers
Hi Charlie, what a cracking day you both got for the Buachaille. Another great video may I add. I've been watching your videos for an age now and thoroughly enjoy them. Some wonderful memories you've filmed for you both. In fact I was on Beinn a' Ghlò with you both this morning too. Cheers Drew
Hi Drew, Many thanks for tagging along on our adventures as its much appreciated. I hope your day went well at Blair Atholl as Beinn a' Ghlo is a superb grouping for settled weather day. Cheers
I think I threw you a red herring there, I had watched your video on Beinn à Ghlo just before your Glencoe dauner. It was Slackdhu in the Campsie Fells for me today, a lovely walk in its own right, not as grand as Beinn à Ghlo though.
Good Afternoon Charlie, Mike. Absolutely stunning. Stob Dearg was my first Munro and I had it in very similar conditions to what you had. What a wonderful day, that brought bag some great memories. All the best guys
Hi Dave, That's a great Munro to start with 👍 I bet you were buzzing after that and fired up for more. Cheers
@@charliemccartney7055 I was and I had an inversion to boot too.
A fantastic video again would like to that next year and see a spectator never seen one yet really enjoyed watching this video
Hi Kevin, I'm sure your opportunity for a Brocken Spectre will come. It'll sneak up on you when you lease expect it 🤣 Many thanks for watching. Cheers
Brilliant video, I’m doing this walk very soon, looks amazing. Cheers Dave, new sub 👍
Hi Dave, Many thanks for the subscription it’s much appreciated. I really hope you have similar conditions to our visit as it’s a stunning day out. A nice variety of ridges with breathtaking views. Enjoy….. Cheers
Great camera work amazing views good one guys
Hi Jason, Really glad you enjoyed this one. It's such a stunning area when the weather is like this. Many thanks for taking the time to view. Cheers
Nice video Charlie. Thank you for sharing 😊
Hello, Many thanks, really glad you enjoyed this Glencoe outing. Cheers
Great video 👏 beautiful scenery and just the sound of a gentle breeze - thanks for sharing
Hello, Many thanks, really glad you enjoyed it. You've just got to leave these classics for a settled weather day to get the full enjoyment..... simply stunning. Cheers
Thank you for this video <3 was on Thursday on Beinn Eighe, watching Liathach with big fear ha ha and attention
As always, fantastic footage gents. Just curious what backpacks you use?
@@davidmanson7924 David, We both have Lowe Alpine 35l packs which we’ve had for years and have been superseded with newer models. Cheers
Thanks Charlie, much appreciated 👍@charliemccartney7055
Omfg ! What a day. Those first shots over to Bidian !
@@scottishsuzuki8132 Hello, Certainly a day we’ll remember for years to come. Many thanks. Cheers
As always, great videos. I'm just curious: What backpacks do you use?
Absolutely fantastic 😍
Hi Kevin, Really glad you enjoyed our Glencoe outing, it was a cracker 👍. Cheers
So seems quite doable in November, great film !
Hello, Yes, it is doable but is dependant on the conditions as a wee bit of snow and ice will make it a different challenge. Just got to be prepared for the conditions at the time. Cheers
Beautiful hazy day for it Charlie. Majestic scenery.
Hi Andy, Just can't fail in Glencoe when the weather is like this. A busy place but worth a visit when you have a stick on forecast for clear tops. Cheers
🙃
Such a beautiful place. Fabulous xx
Hi Patrica, Just can't fail to have a super day when Glencoe is looking like this. Cheers
Thanks for upload ...a cracking day thee ...it looks a better route than going around the ledges .
Hi Tom, Many thanks. It certainly was a cracking day and a joy on the ridge. The bypass is a good option if the weather isn't great but you will need a head for heights that's for sure. Cheers
Just a note. If in heavy rain after several days, the river is not passable at the start of the video. You can take your boots off and find a safe passage however.
@@peterafilms Peter, you don’t need to cross the river as the path is to the west and runs alongside it before breaking towards the hill. Cheers
That's one magnificent hill.
Hi Philip, Yes, I agree... it's a hill that has everything for walkers and climbers. Cheers
Cracking day for it Charlie! Stunning views. Cheers Duncan
Hi Duncan, Yes, it was a stunning day, a bit cool at the start but the sun soon got to work. A busy glen as you would expect with an excellent forecast. Cheers
