Good stuff Frank, thats the way i went up its a pretty treacherous route. I came across a flat slab i had to scramble up and had a tumble . I ended up with a shoulder injury for months but i did soldier on round the two munros and down over Stob coire an Lochain . The views up there are stunning though and worth the effort . That was an interesting hike 👍 Seen that ridge you went up from the Munro didn't considerate as a route up because it looks crazy 😅 Good to see the waterfalls from your drone, I've not seen inside that gorge before, didn't know there was a path to the falls as that gorge looks deep and dangerous, maybe the next time..
@@itsablack1 hi Allan, yeh the final push up to the summit was sketchy in the wet, think it’s very doable scrambling up in the dry. We saw the path next to the gorge while we were up on Beinn Fhada, great views down to it. Yeh it’s a good route back down altho airy in places. Great hike overall👍 ATB Frank

I've never watched anyone do that route before Frank which was really interesting to see. Probably a good decision to make to come down the shoot. Stob Coire Nan Lochan could of been quite dodgy in those conditions with the boulders. I managed to get back out again on Sunday again and done Beinn Luibhean which was good. It's definitely a challenging number that one with the false summits especially with the weather closing in early, I did manage some views of the alps at times in between the clag and showers. @@hikingwithfrank315 aye it's the layby on the right hand side just before where the convoy system started on the rest and be thankful just up from Ardgarten forest car park. It's a typical Corbett initially on a path and then hardly any path until your higher up. Well worth a shot.
First of all Frank ,well done getting up and down that boulder in the valley without any mishaps.😂😂👍 Well done for the route you took.The ground in there is well known for being slippy, mossy , loose rocks, and as well as being steep.looked at different reports over the years for this and your final bit before the summit is well documented for being tricky. I remember a guy whose RUclips channel was a big inspiration to me in my early days (Mark Beecroft) done it in full winter and nearly got caught out.😱😱 Amazing drone shots of the waterfall down the gorge.Great vid as always.😀👏👏

That final bit was no fun at all the rock was just to wet and greasy to attempt scrambling up it so we had to traverse round the bottom of the crags which was very steep and slippy with big dro offs. Yeh I’ve watch Marks vid on it in the winter and feck knows how he managed up, must have been well tricky.
