You are right ma’am. This interview is amazing to me because it shows the tremendous value in Ali for interviews. He looks so tired at the beginning and doesn’t really want to talk, but still finds the energy from somewhere to give a great performance and do his Ali magic even for little old Australia. He’s also one of the few celebrities who was sharp enough to pick up that Norman Gunston was a piss take. Muhammad Ali was witty genius

Watched an extensive documentary (5-6 hours) on him recently and couldn't help but think why didn't he forget about those last six or seven fights and go into movies or TV instead, the Muppets maybe?, he was a natural comic and taking the option of fighting on definitely shortened his life. As a high school student he used to wear lipstick to classes, very funny man and the world is poorer for not having him here.

When interviewed by the inimitable David Frost, Muhammad said that when he was young he loved watching the wrestling on TV.
There was one particular wrestler he loved and that was the perpetual villain, Gorgeous George of the "Please not the face" fame.
What young Cassius noticed was that, as hated as George was, he always wrestled in front of packed house and they all wanted George to lose.
The young Cassius decided to model his professional persona on the wrestler. He also added that that he had to make sure he could back up his prefight words in the ring.
