In her day she was drop dead beautiful
We were all bonny, once.
Still is.
She was barely passable as a beauty and it was short lived.
@@hamishmacintyre4600In one episode, a store executive told a pregnant Gloria that she was going to look like Alfred Hitchcock in drag. Now she really does.
Still? We all get old!
I loved Sally's interview with Norman Gunston. A classic. I watch it sometimes on RUclips, just for a laugh. Really great interview with Sally. Thanks Craig and Sally for this.
She’s still gorgeous!
Don't forget she was cast in the TV series "Still Standing" from 2003-2006.
What a wonderful episode. Thank you so much,
Just loved this. Great interview. Always admired Miss Sally Struthers.
Great interview. Love her laugh and energy. She's a talent, that's for sure.
Hi Sally!
What a lovely, fun lady! The Norman Gunston interview is a classic piece of Aussie history, still so funny to watch today.
Wow, a little shocked about Sally's comments on Penny Marshall, Rob Reiner's then wife. Talk about insecurity and arrogance! I was/am a big fan of Lavern & Shirley but never did like Penny, like her even less now after this interview.
THIS IS AWESOME
Got to love that Norman Gunston!
Love you, Sally😊
She is an absolute angel. Met her in person twice and she was perfection. Charming, sweet and kind. I will always adore Sally Struthers.
Great phenomenal interview. Love Sally Struthers. Such natural talent and charisma. Her infectious laugh and smile is truly the best. Great sense of of humour and hilarity always comes with her. Love her on the Tim Conway Comedy hour and All in The Family. She is entertainment, Hollywood and pop culture royalty. She looks so youthful and gorgeous! ❤ ♥️ 😆😂🤣😍🥰😘🤩🌟 ✨ 👑⚜️💎 🏆 📺
She is part of my life
Had the pleasure of meeting Sally a year or so ago, at an autograph show. Delightful!
The Australian Alps? Lol. Love her.❤️
A few years ago binge watched show for first time. I loved it. 👵🇬🇧❤
I ❤Sally!
I love watching on tv , Just watched All In The Family last night . She had me laughing . What a great actress ❤
Loved the interview 😊.
Even in the US, I remember that bizarre interview with the Aussie TV person. Very funny, still is. Great interview. Sally is a trouper. She's looking really good, too
If I could only have had Sally forever….
Every time I see her she sounds like she's about ready to cry
We all watch you & Norman! Just been there! You were trying to be so kind.
Norman Gunsten a genius!
Such a Character!
As if Charlie Chaplin learned to talk... anxious deadpan
That interview was a classic and is very funny. "All in the family" was however not a ground breaking show as it was a copy of the original UK show "Till death do us part".
All in the Family.........................the one and only American sitcom I enjoyed and thought was funny
I love her eyes
Laverne in the role of the envious drooling horse and you as the outgoing pretty cowgirl. Love you
*Speaks in "hutt" 😂
Sally was parodied on South Park!
Babette ate oatmeal
I had a crush on her as a kid . She was HOT....
3:50 What did she mean by “on the down-low”?
She means done discreetly.
@@CammieInOz huh? That still doesn’t make any sense. Why would they do it discreetly?
@@anthonybrunotheodd from what she's saying, the producers of the show wanted to paint a picture of the program being quite low budget although that wasn't the case at all. Keeping it on the down-low in this case indicates that this was strictly something between the show and its producers. In other words, the show was not struggling on a budget at all but they wanted to look that way.
@@CammieInOz Ohhhhhhhh! Now that makes sense!
Not so "ground breaking" it was an American version of "till death do us part" I preferred Warren Mitchell
Groundbreaking doesn't mean "for the first time ever, anywhere".
Everything can be groundbreaking if it's done in a new location for the first time.
Can anyone tell me why South Park paid out on Sally Struthers so much?
The producers of All in the Family figured out halfway through the run that Sally could do comedy. Suddenly Gloria had funny quirks comparable to her TV parents. Watch the episode where Gloria is upset because Mike makes her feel dumb and she wants to go back to school. It nicely showcases her talents.
Getting old is the pits.
Stifle
Studio Ten has changed too much and now they get rid of Craigy? More talented and authentic than anyone else on there, Australian Live Television is brutal , no wander people are watching crap like The Voice
Couldn't agree more. I didn't know he'd gone, but hadn't seen him in a while. So much fun and added great flair. Stupid decision
What? Craigy B has gone? The best thing about the show.
How was "All in the Family" ground breaking ? It was a rip off of an English one.
It wasn't a rip-off. Norman Lear bought the rights and adapted it for the US. I prefer it to Till Death Us Do Part because the characters are warmer.
@@wendyanderson3920 I did not mean he stole the idea. What I meant was that the same idea seemed to have been used in this case, sorry for any misunderstanding..
Groundbreaking doesn't mean "for the first time ever, anywhere".
Everything can be groundbreaking if it's done in a new location for the first time.
I can ground break by digging a new hole, then I can ground break again by digging s hole next to it. If the new hole is a poor rendition of the first hole I would never say it is ground breaking. It is simple repetition, and a poor one at that, of something that had been done before. Not exploring any new techniques or situations. @@terri6854
You can tell Sally's thinking about what we refer to as a loogy in our day....which was a giant spit from your throat.
I don't like Jean Stapleton, and I can't stand reiner.
