I pre-ordered this phone in the 256gb/8mb prism black for $800 when it came out. Loved it so much and worked so well that both my parents and younger brother bought it as well. I'm left handed and the finger print reader on the power button works excellent on my index finger (you can register 3 different finger prints). When the phone was new I would get about 15 hours of screen time, now I get about 9-10 hours. The s10e is still my daily driver and I will never sell it. I am actually looking to buy another one NIB in the event that this one breaks or is stolen/lost. By the way I am watching this video and typing out this comment currently on my s10e. Such a powerhouse!
I've been using my beautiful white Samsung Galaxy S10e for three years now, and dread the day I'll have to upgrade it. It's still buttery smooth and the way it fits in the hand is better than any phone I've ever used-and most definitely better than the current crop of flagships. I hadn't reset my phone in over 2.5 years and it had become slow as molasses, so I briefly considered upgrading to the S22. I went to the store and tried it out, but it felt like a significant downgrade from the S10e. It's not just the fact that it's larger but the chunkier squared off sides made it much less comfortable to hold and use than my phone. I came home and reset my phone that night and restored it from backups. I lost no data and it became as fast and smooth as new. It's been one month since then and I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger on the S22. I've dropped it innumerable times, in every manner and on every surface conceivable, but it's withstood everything beautifully. I've had to get the rear glass replaced a couple of times, the front glass once, and the camera glass cover once-all of which cost me peanuts compared to what it does on the newer devices. I've never put a case on it, before or after the shatters, and it wears the dings and scratches with pride. It's a solid, well built and well used phone. I sometimes wonder whether the people at Samsung who designed these phones realise what an absolute gem this phone is. Don't they use it alongside the newer devices and realise that we're going back in terms of quality? If Samsung ever released this exact same physical device with upgraded internal components, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat! It's the best goddamn phone ever made.
I mistaklinly dropped my s10e at the beach and went to the local AT&T store to see if they had any in stock and of course they didn't, so I was shown the s22 and looked similar in size and I was due for an upgrade so I reluctantly got it, I'm not really feeling the s22 and I soooo miss my s10e, been looking to buy an unlocked one off ebay or Amazon, I want to keep an s10e 👍🏽😊
I have an S10e phone and I really like it! The only thing I am having trouble with is the battery longevity and the brightness in sunny situations but other than that it's really good even after 3 years!
I love mine... A refurbished, 2 year old one replaces my very much used, serious screen burn-in, S7 standard that I had for all these years prior... I love the small size, as all of the smartphones I've owned over the years have been no bigger...
Still using my s10e since launch and i apsolutely love it! The only downside of the phone is the battery which is not holding up good at all. Its starting to expand and the back glass is starting to separate, so it needs replacing. But for a 4 year old phone, its doing really well!

For people really want to have something similar to S10e, the S22 base variant is rumoured to have a 6.0" display. 0.2" bigger but I guess it'll be pretty similar. But maybe a little longer and narrower because of the aspect ratio.

New galaxy series exceeded 6 inch. Xperia is too long. Pixel used mid-range chip. Zenfone dropped wireless charge. Lg died. S10e for me, is still the only real compact flagship phone in 2021.
I've had this phone for more than 2 years now, and it is great. Fingerprint sensor feels way more ergonomic than the inscreen sensor in almost every Samsung phone these days, although battery life is a bit eh. I do use my phone a lot, around 10hrs a day, and I always have to charge it before the day ends. Screen looks great, but I do feel like I'm missing out on the 120hz screens of the 🌌future🌌. Overall, I don't need to upgrade, but I would either this year but more inclined for the S23. If you need a budget phone, get it, it's great. It's almost, essential.
I’m two years into owning this phone, loving it but finding the battery a bit small, which I was prepared for. I got mine in that beautiful teal colour too and am still loving it.
My S10e is the perfect phone for me, I'm so happy I got it in 2019. Hopefully, there'll be something in the similar size and build quality when it stops working. One feature missing in the video is that you can scroll down on the side button to show all your notifications and access the the control center. Super useful!
You made a very good point which doesn't get much attention but is essential: a 5.8" display is just the right size for people who value function over size. Not everyone is an IG influencer, some of us have jobs and need a midd-size functional phone.

In 2021, I got the Samsung AO1 (currently have), and I was lucky that I have a nano sim card therefore I could transfer my data that way too. It's definitely better compared to my previous phone although the storage size is still 16gb like before, but the game performance was WAY BETTER. In 2022, I plan to get the Samsung S10 (not entirely sure which version) and invest in it for a few years like my first phone. It seems to be one of the best phones you can have out there with the specs that come with it like storage size, camera quality, gaming performance, and more. I can't wait to have my hands on one especially with the prices you can get online like Amazon. I may get it next year Black Friday, so the price can be low unless they're doing Christmas sales. I am actually looking to buy another one NIB in the event that this one breaks or is stolen/lost. By the way I am watching this video and typing out this comment currently on my s10e. Such a powerhouse!
I still love the design and build of the phone even now
I've been using my beautiful white Samsung Galaxy S10e for three years now, and dread the day I'll have to upgrade it.
The only thing I am having trouble with is the battery longevity and the brightness in sunny situations but other than that it's really good even after 3 years!
you can brighten the screen when you put on „max auto mode”
One of my favorite samsung phones....loved the form factor and how easy this phone was to handle.
Still using my cardinal Red S10e, by far one of the best phones I've ever had. Not to mention it will receive android 12 next year
Battery life?
@@adryjan2808 it's alright with heavy usage I get around 7 hours of screen on time and that's enough for me
I love mine... A refurbished, 2 year old one replaces my very much used, serious screen burn-in, S7 standard that I had for all these years prior... I love the small size, as all of the smartphones I've owned over the years have been no bigger...
I had my eyes on this phone until the asus zenphone 8 came out, would love to see a comparison
I bought my S10e last year, on November. I am extremely satisfied with it, in all aspects.
upgradable to android 11 sir?
@@markyljayipan8183 it's upgradable to 12.
The battery !?
August 2023 and I still don't want to give this phone up
I've had my s10e since November 2020 and I still love it a lot!
Great video. I have been using the S10 since it came out and it’s been great.
Thank you mark, I'm glad you did the tech rewind for the s10e your videos are always the best.
Mark + Tech rewind=💥💥
💙❤️
Still using my s10e since launch and i apsolutely love it! The only downside of the phone is the battery which is not holding up good at all. Its starting to expand and the back glass is starting to separate, so it needs replacing. But for a 4 year old phone, its doing really well!
How many hours the battery performance?
@@احمدعبدو-ث5ع I have replaced the battery a couple of weeks ago, and the battery still can barely last me a day. I average around 4-5 horus of screen on time, 3 if i have a lot of driving to do
Got my near mint S10e for only $160 on ebay in 6-2021 no plans to "UPGRADE" for at least 3 years!
I bought a used one for $210 off ebay and the only problem is that the battery only lasts 5 hours.
got mine refurbished last October. Frickin love this phone, it really does cover all the bases. My *only* gripe? It's a reeaaally slippery phone. I hate putting cases on my phones, especially if they're pretty, so I'm trying to find a clear textured skin I could put on the back for some extra grip.
That 5.8 inch screen size is the perfect size and I love it. I'll probably be holding onto my pixel 4a and not upgrading to 5a because the screen will be bigger. 5.8 is best
Still loving my s10e and treating it as if its *newly bought
I absolutely love mine! Don't plan on updating until I absolutely have to!
Just ordered a refurbished s10e from Back Market for an insane 165 USD to replace my over 4 year old Pixel 2, which is still holding on but not by much. Loved my pixel so I'll keep an eye on Google's lineup but really looking forward to a same-sized phone with improvements in every category. Thanks for the great vid Mark.
How was your refurbished s10e from Back Market? Any comments?
the S10e I got had the Exynos processor, which is not that efficient for that small battery, but overall, for a small price, It is a great phone, and I still using it today
For people really want to have something similar to S10e, the S22 base variant is rumoured to have a 6.0" display. 0.2" bigger but I guess it'll be pretty similar. But maybe a little longer and narrower because of the aspect ratio.
This sounds good I might by s22 then when it comes out in feb if it is small like s10e
OXIR I believe its suppose to be a bit smaller. I saw a rumour on line the S22 will have a 6.06" display but I guess we'll have to wait and see next year.
I hope its the similar size to the s10e. That would be perfect to upgrade from a note 10 +
Got mine in April of 2020 for a good price and really like it. I've noticed the battery isn't lasting as long
How many hours of battery life do you get?
@@SharonMovieMaven i am not him, but I also have a s10e for about two years by now, my battery life take a Great hit. I cannot get more than 4 hours of screen time, i am a journalist so I have to use my phone a lot, and I have to charge twice a day
@@RicardoFilho25 exynos version?
@@Ahmed-jv7oc yep
@@Ahmed-jv7oc To give you an idea, I charge my phone about 4 hours ago. In a mild usage it's in 37% right now
I have the Exynos S10E and battery life is pretty bad. I always get less than 3.5 hours of SOT. Most of the days i get 2.5-3 hours of SOT. Other than that, its an amazing phone and i would DEFINITELY buy it today
New galaxy series exceeded 6 inch. Xperia is too long. Pixel used mid-range chip. Zenfone dropped wireless charge. Lg died. S10e for me, is still the only real compact flagship phone in 2021.
How about the battery? Which processor version do you have?
Great rewind Mark. I'd love to see a rewind of that of the s10+ in 2021.
You made a very good point which doesn't get much attention but is essential: a 5.8" display is just the right size for people who value function over size. Not everyone is an IG influencer, some of us have jobs and need a midd-size functional phone.
Thanks for the thorough review! I'm deciding between the S10e and S10 in 2021.
me too
Can't believe my beloved phone is getting a review in June 2021... ✌❤😄
Its the last Samsung phone I'd.consider buying
I guess I lucked out when I purchased an S10e 2 years ago. I was recently looking for an update to this phone, I thing I will stick with it for now, Thank You...
Used this phone for over a year, bought secondhand early 2021. For those who like the "cute" size flagship, u CANNOT go wrong with this phone right here
Wow, talk about timing. I've had my S10e for literally two years now and I simply cannot find any reason to justify paying heaps more for an upgrade. In Korea, you can use NFC enabled Android phones for almost every payment service, from transport cards to Samsung Pay. OS is still as snappy as ever and the launcher options are many. This handset has served me well and I have absolutely no complaints or regrets.
Just bought my S10e like two hours ago for 190 at a local unlocked phone store near me. Sweet phone....went to Walmart and they had the cases for 1 dollar at the clearance section....extra sweet deal for me.
This guy just reads my mind and then posts a video. Great content, format, and Channel 🔥👏👌
This phone costs roughly 200 euros (refurbished) in France. Do you think it's the top BEST offer under that tight budget? (it can be refurbished)
Love from France 💕💕😊
Yea man, pick it up. It's a great phone and it will still receive upcoming Android 12 update too
@@obidean3964 Thanks for the recommendation
Only for one software update is it worth it ?
@@jeffrey7737 1 more OS update and 2 years more security update. Before Android 12, Android updates have been pretty boring and minor, expecting the next update will be very minor since Android 12 already offers a bunch of improvement especially in terms of aesthetic, so having the biggest update since the last 5 years of Android as final update shouldn't feel much left out plus the flagship grade hardware helps prolong the age too. Not to mention, the guy can get the phone for €200 which is crazy value for the flagship experience it offers ...
@@obidean3964 I'm saying so a person paid €200 to have the phone for 2 years ? ( With a used battery)
Fingers crossed this is still a good phone in 2022. I have a A53 that I bought 8 months ago. Backfacing camera broke already and now It doesn't want to make or receive calls or texts. Since I am still paying for it, I need to send it to Samsung to get fixed but I need a phone in the meantime. Picked up an S10e on Ebay for $100.00 to hold me over.
Still got my S10e. In 2022 it got Android 12 and expanded/virtual memory, which is nice.
I've been using this phone fora couple ofmonthsnow and i can say it really does the job. I can't complain at all because it perfectly fit my small hands.
In 2017, I had the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime for four years. It was damaged, irritating, and etc. in 2020.
Other options could be the Poco or the Xiaomi brands too.
Still my daily driver since July 5th 2019.
This video earned a subscription from me. Really well done.
I just got the S10e coz of your excellent review. Thanks you and Great job!
i dont have the s10e but i have the s10. it performs so well and i have not had a single issue with it, literally. i don't have any issues with this phone and it runs so well even still in 2022
this was the best phone i've bought to date. excellent camera. b ut if you do get it make sure to guard the screen from cracking.
Been using this for last 2 years.....only drawback is the battery as it loses power with time.......else this is my fav phone ever.....such a handy phone
Great precise video sir 👌
Watching this in s10e
And I must admit
This is a hell of a phone.
Totally worth it
Excellent review. Kudos!
Take off all the animations and shut off background apps that try to sync or give live data for the phone (or any phone/pc) to run faster.

Excellent work Mark. It is a shame that Samsung never made a follow up model for this phone. A bit more coverage on the cameras would have been nice, especially because samsung had introduced ultrawide for the first time in the S Series.
Please make one for S10+ as well - Writing this one from my S10+.
i love my s10 e, the only thing is when i press my lock button , my camera is opened instead of locking the phone...besides that this has been a solid phone

hey thanks!
Keep up the good work Mark!
This was a great phone when I had it... Just traded it in for an S21 Ultra... best device ever
Watching it from the s10e and still a beast of a Phone💪🏽💪🏽 the only bad problem maybe is the battery that is good but not GREAT🤷🏽😭
ALSO: LOVE THE TechRewind😍
The perfect sized phone for me
I really like your tech rewind videos
Just waiting for your video Brother.
Your video always makes me happy.
I bought an S10 plus a couple of months ago as I'm getting into Android. I'm actually using it more than my 11 pro, it's lighter and I'm enjoying the versatility of android and the display is better than my 11 pro. Only complaint is, why does the camera over saturate the greens so much! It doesn't do it on any other colour, and the video quality is also excellent.
Turn off the scene optimizer.
It's just Samsung thing.
@@maxchopin409 i know but it only seems to be green that gets saturated.
thinking to get this. upgrading from a 6s. switched to pixel 2 xl for a few months but it sucked so back to 6s currently.
Thank you for the info I really needed this :D
I have the s10e and it still works great. I literally have no reason to upgrade to a new phone and if I do it will only be for bells and whistles I want but don't necessarily need.
I still gave it, awsome phone, not planing for an upgrade any time soon
I just got one on eBay for $60 excited to try it out!
this phone is the goat in the android second hand market, it has a great chipset and nice features (including OS updates) in a small package, all that for a little price.
