Have been used my s8 bout 3 year with the edges and curve display that really nice to hold but mostly accidentally touches or navigate few apps with kinda annoying the main reason i get the s10e that suit in the hand with the flat screen making it feel just nice . But honestly Samsung shouldn't remove those heartbeat sensor . For the Samsung health user it really disappoints .
Exactly. The S10+ is just too damn big for my pockets. I don't wear baggy ass Jean's and I'm not a woman so I don't carry my phone in my purse so the S10 is perfect and doesn't put a hole in my pockets of my Jean's anymore. It's still over 6 inches with hardly any bezels so you get a beautiful screen...that even has more ppi than the + as well. I also prefer the circle hole punch over the oval one on the +.
I chose the 10e because of the compact size. After two months: Battery life is great, Speed is great, Display and camera are exceptional. I like the customization options and sound is good as well. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was the lack of button on the bottom and wish I could remove Bixby.
I did exactly that and 10e is rather small. Plus the fact that I really dislike OneUI (not that I am a stranger to Samsung but OneUI turns me off completely). That makes for a return for the money, possibly going for an LG G8.
@@bmac9539 Is it better than the S7? I don't like the curved display so I can't continuous buying S8, S9 or S10. Don't know if the S10e is a step up from the S7. I'm pleased with the latter but the S10e made me curious.
Small depends on the person and their hand size lol. I had a pixel 2 for work and it was a great size. So the S10 e is only slightly larger. @@SAMI-SEM-997 not that big of a difference went from s10 to s10e that in screen finger print scanner socks a tiny cracked in the display prevented me from using it had to replace whole screen
S10e is best option if you want a smaller phone. If you play games on your phone and watch movies etc then bigger screen always comes in handy. So for some people the s10 is a good balance. Not too big and not too small.
Curved edges are really hard to find the right cases for and coming from the S5 to the S7 edge, I really disliked that I couldn't put a tempered glass on it, nothing that would stay on anyway.. If the S10e had a larger battery I'd definitely take it. As it stands now, my S7 edge even when it was new with a 3,600 MAH battery wasn't sufficient enough for my daily routine of just texting, Spotify and a little RUclips here and there, so the 3,100 MAH definitely won't be enough unfortunately... 😂

Stop making phones paper-thin and slippery as a bar of soap. Make them durable. Why is it necessary to purchase a protective case? Build the phone beefier from the start. Also, thin enough is thin enough. Make them thicker so you can put in a larger battery and more storage.
Storage isn't an issue, but battery, yes. They should just stop making them out of glass. Wireless charging is such a stupid gimmick. I want a phone with a metal chassis
Yes I had an S8+ and it slips a lot on the hand, later on I cracked the screen... The 5.8 is the perfect size for hand and the fingerprint sensor is perfectly located! S10e is the best choice and Samsung has to keep that size on future models!
Great video I went to the S10 after my Note 8 it is the perfect size the Note 8 was little too big the S10 much easier with one hand..damm love the S10 it is a Beast!!!!
AfgOmar 619 Says the person who liked a nursery rhyme video. Hmmm, trying to make fun of a person's individual personal opinion and yet you yourself liked a child's video. So does that make you weak or dainty?
Curve actually makes the phone more resistent. Similar to how you can stand on an egg without breaking it, the shape makes it so that you devide forces and let the screen give in so that you are way less likely to break it. Of course it does come into contact with surfaces more often this way so yes, scratches will be more frequent. But no, its not weaker at all.
I have an S10+ and my main gripe with the curved display is not the accidental touches which doesn't happen to me but the issue of a good quality screen protector is difficult to find and/install as well as being expensive
@@Jesko_VRS i know its expensive but its difficult to install and even tho i can afford it, its a hard pill to swallow spending $45-50 on a screen protector. Are the Zagg ones at best buy good?

Just picked up my s10e today and so far I love it. I am upgrading from an S5 which worked perfectly but my husband's S3 died LOL gave him my S5 and I got the S10 e happy birthday to me LOL
I've been patiently waiting for the Note 10, until it was released with the not so impressive specs to disappoint me. So now I'm looking for the right S10 model for me.
Note 10 Plus was too expensive for me, note 10 regular actually sucks so that just leaves the s10+ which is as good as the note 10 plus imo just minus spen🤷♂️
@@TechWithBrett I can understand that. But then I'm scared with case and curved screen leaves it more susceptible to front screen cracks. And the edges of the case won't be curved so idk see how it's less bulky. But you probably know better since you've used curved screen devices 😄. I guess we just like what we're used to. Thanks for the reply my man! The missing indicator light might be a dealbreaker for me if the Holey Light app can't fix. Thoughts?
Good video Brett . S10 models are still a nice design imo , even up against the latest models . I think companies like samsung and android phone makers in general would sell more phones overall if they offered updates for a longer period (minimum 3 years possibly 4 ? ) , many times in the comments i have seen people mention this and why they stick with iphones. I dont buy a phone specifically for how long it is supported , but it is a consideration (still not an iphone fan or buyer ) .
Love my Samsung Galaxy s10e. Does everything I need, battery is great, and I love the size to fit in my front pocket! Picked it up on the web for $400. Verizon had it on sale for $800. Stupid don't live here!
I’m coming from an iPhone 8 and the last android phone I had was an S5 so I’m exited to see what has changed since I’ve been gone. Ive ordered the S10 :)
My S10e is great.. but the battery life can vary... It's not really an all day phone, but a cheap charger bank will take care of that... more chunky and less fragile than the curved screens too.
I really liked this video. It was very helpful. I liked that you showed all three of them side-by-side. The video was easy to understand because you were methodical, you explained everything you talked about thoroughly, and you showed us each feature you talked about. Thank you for this video.
I'm not for sure what I'm going to choose... The S10 or the S10e. I think the S10 looks better because of the curve. Now I have the Samsung S8, but I have the idea that the screen breaks faster because the curve, is that true? And can the S10 be protected just as well with a glass plate as the S10e?
I chose the s10+ & wow-we. For myself this phone offers more than any other, hands down. The display is the absolute best. The cameras & battery are excellent. This phone is simply a pleasure to use. I find it hard to put down. It's also blazing fast with the 8gigs of ram. All three are homeruns!
I've been rocking an S10e for a couple years now and couldn't be happier. I just ordered a 2nd one (Flamingo pink!) for a back-up, in fact. I moved up from an A10e which I really liked, too, and I wish they had used the A10e notch instead of the punch but I just use a wallpaper that's black at the top so I don't see it most of the time.
Got the S10 love the the size and battery so far, the fingerprint print on the side was a deal for me on the S10e. First time having a cure screen coming from a S7.
Jason Tankersley i’m thinking of buying a s10. I have an iPhone 6 atm but i wanna switch to Samsung. At first i was looking at the s9 but don’t think the back fingerprint is common handy so s10 i think it is

Is the S10e really the same size as the S8+? I thought it was comparable in size to an S8. I have a S8 and love the size (over the curved edge display though) so I'm curious.
You’re actually correct. I did poor research. The screen takes up more of the phone front surface and is closer to the size of the S8+, yet falls short. I ordered the S10E off amazon for a decent price with good memory space... and returned it. Too used to the size of the S8+. Will be ordering the S10+ soon, after seeing a coworkers in person. I wanted the flat screen, but it’s just not worth it. Also once I put a rugged case on the S10E it renders the convenience of the print reader on the power button useless, unless there’s a case that was designed to access it

it would make so much sense! I am perplexed why there is no offer like that
Case is for style. Remember those oooooold days... when our nokia 3310 is bulky and keep getting scratch then we buy rubber case for it....😂😂
So it doesn't feel and look like you carry a brick in your pocket...
Watching on my s10e 😎 in my opinion the perfect size phone with the power of the big boys
Yes I had an S8+ and it slips a lot on the hand, later on I cracked the screen... The 5.8 is the perfect size for hand and the fingerprint sensor is perfectly located! S10e is the best choice and Samsung has to keep that size on future models!

I wish there was a S10 with the battery of the S10 plus, that would be the perfect phone for me. Still going to upgrade me S6 to a S10.

It has a heart monitor and it's where the flash is. You can actually take photos if you placed your finger on the heart monitor

it had wireless charging too (which was surprise to me when I accidentally put it on charger)

Man the curve surface is so cool. I would definitely buy the S10 or S10+
it's funny how i see the in-screen fingerprint and curved edges as disadvantages
the bigger screen is my only worthy consideration
I have an S10+ and my main gripe with the curved display is not the accidental touches which doesn't happen to me but the issue of a good quality screen protector is difficult to find and/install as well as being expensive
Ax El
Whitestone dome, Expensive but amazing, the only way to goo with curved screens.
@@Jesko_VRS i know its expensive but its difficult to install and even tho i can afford it, its a hard pill to swallow spending $45-50 on a screen protector. Are the Zagg ones at best buy good?
Ax El
Sorry man no idea about the Zagg ones, i know people who had the Whitestone dome glass installed at the shop where they bought there Galaxy, so it’s don correctly. But... that makes it even more expensive.. so.
@@Jesko_VRS where can you buy whitestone screen protector for it then? Best buy doesn't carry it, just the zagg one that's like $30-40 i believe and i know it's on Amazon
50 dollars Is worth it to protect a 1000 dollar phone.
Just upgraded to my S10+ last week. Learned a few things here, not the least of which was knowing I made the right decision. Thanks!
I honestly like the curved screens. I think because it gives it a more clean look, a more sleek look if that makes sense.? Idk.
That is why I like them as well.
That's what I was thinking too.
I like them because they give the phone a nicer look and like richer
Just got my s10e and I love it and the battery life is plenty for what I use it for
To me it seems that the S10 is better then the 10e, so I think i'll be changing my S9 to the S10 because the 10+ is a lil to big. Thanks for the info!!! ☺💃
Thanks Brett! This was an amazing comparison with enough details to help making a decision and yet easy to understand. I now know which one to pick! :)
I prefer the flat screen of the S10E but wish they had put the fingerprint scanner on the back below the cameras.

I've been patiently waiting for the Note 10, until it was released with the not so impressive specs to disappoint me. So now I'm looking for the right S10 model for me.
Note 10 Plus was too expensive for me, note 10 regular actually sucks so that just leaves the s10+ which is as good as the note 10 plus imo just minus spen🤷♂️
curve edges are the worst thing ever i wish the s10 came in a flat version
Why would anyone want a curved edge on a screen if you're going to put a case on it anyway right?
While it does seem more fragile I find that having the curved screen and a case causes the phone to not feel so bulky.

I’m coming from an iPhone 8 and the last android phone I had was an S5 so I’m exited to see what has changed since I’ve been gone. Ive ordered the S10 :)
Watching this from my 2016 Refurbished Galaxy J7 (picture that without a frame). Picking a phone is so hard now. Thanks for sharing.
Great video!! You answered all my questions, thanks for posting!
My S10e is great.. but the battery life can vary... It's not really an all day phone, but a cheap charger bank will take care of that... more chunky and less fragile than the curved screens too.
You absolutely helped me make a choice! A well informed on too! Thanks!
I hope I like the phone, I ordered it today. I currently have a S7 Edge. (Brought it on release day)
I chose the s10+ & wow-we.
U sound like me, I never seen someone else like the a10e as well, great phone low-key way better than any newer a series.
I like the s10e's size but I'm going with the S10 because of the fingerprint in the screen
At first i was looking at the s9 but don’t think the back fingerprint is common handy so s10 i think it is
The finger print works great on the front
The S10+ I like, but I am waiting to see what the difference will be with the NOTE 10.
Stephen Mason it’ll be the Galaxy Note X
Waiting on the note too. Ugh just want an official release date!!
Thank you for that.....was not too pleased to hear that the 2 larger models have curved screens. I have been using a S8 and it is curved. No film will stay on which led to me now having a cracked screen.
Thanks so much for the review! I think you have more knowledge than the Tmobile reps I spoke with, lol.

I'm just glad I got the 10+ for $0 up front with a $35 tab fee and a $35 plan that has 10 GB LTE.

and when I went for a hardware upgrade because I saw that it was $0 down. But there was an error on the s10+ where instead of a $38 tab fee on a $50 monthly plan, it ended up being a $35 tab fee so I nabbed the s10+ as soon as the employee told me.

Samsung really killed it this year with this lineup. I really wish they'd go back to flat displays across the board though.

I love the curve though.
Samsung smashed it. Yes flat displays are much better! Don't like the curve screen

i have a samsung galaxy s7 at the moment. i cant decide between the s10e or the s10 based on a flat screen or a curved sreen
Bruh, you didn't even upgrade to S8?
I went from an S7 to the S10+ loving the curved screen.
Jalen is it too big though?
I'm upgrading from an S6 Edge so for me the S10e looks ideal size and price. However, I'm left handed so the fingerprint reader on the right completely rules it out for me. Thanks Samsung. Good job there Samsung.
So true 🤣
Love how the S10e returns to a flat panel screen/glass and is practically he same size as my S8+
Also once I put a rugged case on the S10E it renders the convenience of the print reader on the power button useless, unless there’s a case that was designed to access it
@@claytong1913 Thanks for your response. I understand exactly what you mean although I have the opposite problem. I'm used to the size of my S8 and am able to do alot of one handed tasks with it so I'm scared to go bigger. Interesting to know about the case covering the fingerprint reader. That was a concern of mine. I think even though I do like the flat display and smaller size I am leaning towards a S10 now. Hope you enjoy the S10+, it looks amazing!
Carolinagirl1028 you with yours as well. I just placed the order after my original reply to you above. I also used to enjoy the one hand tasks, yet my eyes are too big for the practicality apparently, and now I’ve become accustomed to the larger size. Enjoy
I have an s9 and like the size I have small hands. Any bigger and it'd be hard to use. So I'm gonna say I'd prefer the s10e. I'm considering getting one.
