- Samsung Galaxy S10+ in 2024 - Should You Buy?
2 years ago, I bought the Galaxy S10+ and I made a RUclips video about it. Anyway, I think it’s past time I made a follow-up video, how has the Galaxy S10+ held up over the past 2 years and should you even consider buying it in 2024? That’s what we’re going to find out in this video.

The new Samsung a55 5g beats it
The Galaxy A55 is ₦668k or $450. For that price you could get the Galaxy S21 Ultra or the S22+.
So which will you choose new midrange (Galaxy A55) or old Flagship (Galaxy S21 Ultra)
he has been real silent 😂@@UdiShoots
@@UdiShootscan you review the a55 5g? But my only question is should i consider the a55 5g over the s10+? Like which specs are better?
@@faccezitCrocwith the price of a55 you can get s21 ultra which will outmatch the a series in every way
@@RHEMANDIANAOweimieotu thank you
Once a flagship, always a flagship.
💯💯
True
Still using my S10+ and I'm enjoying its performance
💪🏾💪🏾
Me too ( very very very good phone )
Likewise
Does this phone 📱 have 5g
Is the camera good?
Bought mine in march 0f 2020, used it for 3 years as my daily driver. Fantastic phone. Still have it and works well, including the battery, which is surprising.
This has to be one of Samsung best designed phones ever
S24u thickness is bigger than my life
Still using my S10 and it's still better than most new phones
Of course
Had my galaxy S10+ from 2019 to last month when it died and I upgraded or the S24 Ultra.
This phone was still doing an awesome job and I would have pushed till next year if it had not fallen and broken.
Great video!
Sti holds up. My s10 is doing pretty good too. Great review there. ❤
Thanks boss
My next budget❤
Great video, thank you! 🤩
Man that's the s10 plus you're shooting with?
WOW It looks like a real camera and you look fantastic on it 👍
I still use this phone
I still get 3-3.5 hours battery life
It's still pushing through in 2024
Change the battery you'll get another 2 hours of screen on time.
But it will be slower
@@arrjunramesh
That's kinda low..
No..@@Sousa_YT1
@@Sousa_YT1 how does that affect performance
also some features like ip68 dust and water resistance. most midrange phones don even have this feature.
Thanks so much for this im so grateful. I love the video
You are so welcome
Watched ur video for 1st time & liked ur explanation 👌🏽, became a subscriber !
I guess the tech game is a bit different in nigeria when it comes to latest & the greatest, tecno is a mass seller over there i guess because of the price to performance ratio ! Do Make videos like these on older flagships from samsung, & try to do a vlog where u can show what phones & other tech that r sold like hot cakes in ur surrounding.. ✌🏽from India
Thanks for the sub!
I'm still using my S10+ which i bought back in June 2019. I've replaced the battery last year and it's good to go for another 2 years.
Had my s10+ since day 1 till this jan and upgraded to s24 ultra. I should say, i played alot call of duty mobile. Changed the battery a year ago and got 6 hours of screen on time. 3 hours of gaming. With just 60hz it was the best phone. I upgraded cuz the power and volume buttons fell out 😂 so basically it was on its last leg. But still i loved that phone alot. Everything was perfect with that one.
my bixby button fell out too😢
Gift it to me 🙏🏽
my grandma is rocking this phone, really, it feels like butter smooth
Wonderful review UDI that was detailed one ! Suiiiiiiii
Thanks chief

The camera and display quality is top notch 👌
Yup.
Bro love from India great video great explanation great quality stuff there
Thanks bro
I bought this phone when it came out, jus last week it said battery life dropped to 4.1k still an amazing phone
Great videos Udi, I just have one question what camera do you use to shoot your videos because the quality is just so good
I literally mentioned this at the beginning of the video
My mistake I watched the video again and heard it, btw the video quality is super impressive, hard to tell that it's shot on a smartphone 🔥
Good lighting is everything @@saitotispvc8812
I am so "addicted" to the S10+, still inlove with the design and specs. One of the best phones ever produced by Samsung. I had it a few years back and i was pickpocketed, bought an S10 but this year went back to S10+...still love it...I feel 😑😑 with the new slabs released lately.
I miss my S10 plus. Had it fo 2 and a half years before getting the S23 Ultra. Did me well during Oct 2020 to Mar 2023
It's a solid device 🔥
me not even watching the whole vid, but here to let you know am using s10 and it's really great 🤟🏽✌🏾
Fol4 getting main screen replaced. Starting using s10+ in mean time. Straight away wonder why I'm considering a s24+. S10+ does everything anyone would want
one of the best designs samsung had in mobiles
Flagship phones are the go-to for camera performance. I use a Galaxy S5 in 2024 and although it's 10 years old it destroys low end to low-midrange smartphones to this day. Even though the performance on most apps suck, it can record 4k 30fps with HDR when low end phones can only record a quote on quote "1080p" 30 fps smudge. It can also record 120fps at 1080p even with HDR!! The performance on most apps suck and it's on Android 6.0.1 so not a lot of support for apps but i can play Real Racing 3 at around 25 to 30fps on the phone even though it's the base spec 2gb ram 16gb storage and 3G only model. It's also Exynos.
I am still using Samsung s10+ and still there is no reason to convince me to upgrade,, LOVE IT .I have had it since its release
Seems your S10+ is still in great condition. You should probably use it to swap to the S22+ while it still has value.
I like this video a minute into it.
I got a couple of questions for you
1. I'm finding it hard to get an original older flagship Samsung phone like S21 ultra, Where can you advice someone gets one?
2. What's the name of that football game you were playing in the video
There are many trusted vendors you can find on Instagram like aboki_gadgets, ogabassey, korreckgadgets, revenes. You can check those stores.
For the football game that was dream league soccer 2024
Keep growing 🔥
Thanks
Great review Udi, are there any tips to get a better performing camera on the s10 plus. I got a second handed one recently and the camera quality has been terrible since purchase
Terrible in what way? Dust in the lens?
Wow, I am surprise at the camera quality. Never would have though it would come out this well. Well done bro. What lighting did you use on your face or is it natural lighting and also, is your background AI or its a physical wall paper on the wall
I use hpusn softbox lighting. For the background, yes it is real wallpaper

Old Flagship phones’ Camera always beat the the new midrange phones in terms of Quality.
Nice review, by the way. 👍
been using this for more than 4 years , works just fine no issues at all
Still using s10e, no issues so far except battery😚😚😚
How about internet connection? Whats's like the upload and download spead?
I use a samsung MIDRANGE phone AKA a M series phone and i used it for 4 years it was launched back in 2020 and samsung provided software updates from android 9 to android 12 and when they stopped giving updates i simply installed Custom rom (lineage os) and it works more smoother than the samsung software i used to have back then and boi i tell u how much Better my battery life has gotten after installing the custom rom.
So if you're buying an S10 pr s8 or s9 it's still worth it u can install custom rom which is well optimized and you're good to go for next 3 years.
And because of the optimization the battery life will be drastically improve.
And this mainstream devices will have their official rom pages unlike mine
I installed unofficial version of custom rom which was meant for other phone in my phone but it still managed to run because of the same platform of chipsets.
Boss which app did you use for ur video recording
Watching on my galaxy s10 plus ❤
🤙🏾🤙🏾
i'm an s21 ultra user and i can vouch for older flagships over new midrance/budget phone but i wouldn't go older than S20 or S21 siries
my recomendation is a used S21 FE as it's a really good phone for the price and preforms like the s21+ as well as having 2 years of new software support left as of Q1 2024
S10 plus smoothest cream.and yes ill usd this for next 5 years i love it
Hey my first time on your channel. We are exactly in thesame situation and i just found a solution. I was strongly considering the s21 ultra but then the phone cost much more than it should. So i found the s21 fe to be the best alternative at a much cheaper price. I chose it over the base s21 vos it's going to get more additional software updates than even the s21 ultra. Potentially till 2026. So you'd have almost 3 years with without any problems. In terms of camera, s21 ultra is just slightly better than the FE and the FE has a 4500 mah battery😊
Nice one S21 FE is also a solid option. I just want the 10X telephoto
I still have two of the Samsung Galaxy S9+ phones my parents had used, they are still working in good condition, all they need are new batteries even if one of them is draining fast and new LCD displays even if they are damaged or scratched
Please Samsung Galaxy devices doesn't use LCD displays.... They're all dynamic AMOLED 🤝
Just upgraded from my s10+ to the s24 ultra. I miss my old phone though, its been one hell of a device to have the past few years😂😂
I'm impressed how well the S10s have held up over time. They are 5 years old, and they don't feel sluggish like older phones used to. The display quality and cameras are still great, even today when there are crazy phones like the S24 ultra and its extreme specs.
i still use my galaxy note 8 and note 10+ and it still great
hey man do you maybe do something while recording? because when i record inside the colors are kinda washed out and not as sharp as outside. Are you recording 4k60 or 4k30?
I use softbox lighting and I also do a bit of colour grading. Increasing contrast, saturation and even sharpness. I shoot 4k30. Use good lighting when indoors and it'll be sharper
Great review 👍🏽
Thank you! Cheers!
7+ hours SOT for normal usage like browsing webs and social media but mostly indoor. Outdoor usage may be around 6+ hours, and I'm not planning to replace anytime soon.
That's solid battery life
watching this using my s10 ❤
😁
I'm buying s10+ ❤🎉❤
I'm planning on buying the s10 plus to when I switch carriers
How does s10+ perfoms while playing PUBG?
Is it comparable to iphone? I mean the connectivity and registration.
I'm enjoying my Redmi note 10 pro but I must say I like this phone and considered it that's why I'm checking out. Meanwhile seems like you're jw.❤
How do I know the snapdragon version??
I am thinking of buying the S10+ . I have a new Redmi 13 pro but i don't like the restrictions put on android 13 and 14 . It is currently running Android 14 Hyper OS . I play a lot of games and modify game files. But with android 13and 14 i cant do anything.
So getting back to using Samsung is good. Since I used to use Samsung and Apple. Plus still plays a lot of games better
What're these restrictions you're facing on the Android 14
This phone actually perform better than current midrange phones, it can't compete with new flagship phones I agree, but it's way better than current midrange phones. I agree with you on the battery life though.
I use it since 2019 and it’s working well
I have this phone since 2019 but i gave it to my ex and she
Iiterally trashed it and dented the metal sides and all. But it’s still kicking being my second phone since i upgraded to the s23 base model.
Asides the battery, everything is cool
And outdated software
True
Can you review the note 10 plus
Bro I'm using it with custom roms , It's really fine & great device in 2024
S10e owner here. I'm seriously considering getting an S10+, it's the last good phone with a headphone jack, and also cheap in the used market.
Still using it till now, its still a great phone but my battery drain so fast planned to upgrade to note 20 ultra, latest fragships are too expensive
Same
At first I honestly thought you were using a professional DSLR camera in your video.
Nice video 👍
Thanks 👍
S10+ is good although it has on par performance with newer midranges nowadays and no longer has software updates, it is rlly a good alternative if ur looking for used flagship phones instead of newer midranges
Yes I would, as a content creator I would definitely go for the s10plus because of the better camera.
👍🏾
Will go for an order flagship device anytime, anyday
💯
Please where will I get 1 to buy
Had mine for years and still charges well and lasts just fine. No need to buy a new one..not just yet. Security could be an issue unless you get a good App that protects your fone.
You could consider swapping to s21+. Since they're no issues with your S10+ now, it'll have more resale value
Where to do that, do ypu have a link@@UdiShoots
Bro ...the CAM QUALITY IS CRAZYY GOOODDDD
Where can I buy it?
2-3yr old flagships are the best deals. My dad got n s21u in 23' for around 600$ great deal
No it is not because you get a Oneplus 12 new for that price
SIUUUUUUUU I loved the review am debating between S10+ and S20+ or Ultra
Don't buy any of the S20 series. With the S20 series there are screen issues. And with the s20 ultra in particular camera focusing is not good.
If you're not comfortable with buying the s10+. I'd recommend going for the S21 instead 👍🏾
@@UdiShoots thanks a lot brother, the S10+ wins for now, either that or the S21 Ultra 👏
I have the s10 plus as my backup phone, but I used my s24 ultra for my daily use
Nice
what the theme you're using pls name it
Try get Huawei Nova 5T ages but that phone is beast
Wowww, you recorded this with your s10 plus,CR7 THE GOAT

Do you know how much I can buy d uk used of the s10+ now?

Good content
S10 plus is the best, I think Samsung should kept the 2 camera on the front, an let it do some crazy stuff like the iPhone dynamic Island.
S10 is still a decent phone. But for anybody needing a good temp phone to hold you over for a bit it's solid. At the very least get 20 or s21 to hold you over for a few years to you upgrade
I user s10 plus chipset snapdragon very smooth battery one day half..
i still have the S10e and gonna probably upgrade to the S23 fe or S24
Nice 🔥🔥
S10+ is really beautiful phone
Had it for almost 3 years and it's still great
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
It remains absolutely pocket -friendly vs. The new A55--4k video recording is only 30 fps vs. S10+ 4k 60 fps.
If you're considering the A55 I'd suggest you go for the S21 Ultra instead
Do you colour grade the footage or it's straight out of the camera?
Of course it's colour graded
i bought my s10+ in 2019 and its display is still better than most phones today. However, the back cover has fallen off because the glue seems to have worn off. If i can repair that, I gonna use it for another 2-3 years
lol also my s10+ back fallen off too
S10plus is my next phone.....how much did you bought the Case
What about the s21? How much is the s22 please
😮 really good
budget phones nowadays released with android 12. who knows when they will get updates maybe never😂 s10 and note 10 line are the best old flagship to buy. android 12 on these line super stable no random restarts no glitch. it superb
Still rocking the 10+
