Honestly you cant tell which screen is better because its different on all tests. Some iphone win and some samsung win
these "drop tests" are not scientific at all and often there will be different drop heights and angles causing one phone to break over the other for no reason other than the different drops.
Elliot these tests always have too many variables like what you drop it on (rocks, gravel, hardwood floors) and where it falls exactly (side, front, back) for them to be deemed realistic in everyday scenarios. Like one person can drop their phone at waist height but it falls on gravel and breaks and another head height but it falls indoors on hardwood and doesn’t break. I know when I drop my phone it’s not straight down I usually somehow end up launching it a few feet and it spins and slides as it goes.

its not the glass actually, the Samsungs glass is stronger, but because of how thin and flat the phone is, including even the infinity-o display, it makes it have multiple weak points

A screen protector normally doesn't protect the screen from crack, but only protect it from scratches. A case usually protects the back glass but not the front (unless those specially designed). So if your front was cracked, it was just normal.
And it was an iPhone X. Mine dropped from 4 inches and shattered Xs is so much more durable

I think a curve screen is not durable than flat screen
There has been theories how the curve brings the cracks to the sides and back of phone instead of the actual screen
It's not. Corning has stated that the specs for Gorilla Glass only apply to flat pieces of glass. When you consider how the curved sections HAVE to be slightly thinner than the rest of the glass, it makes sense.
And full disclosure, I'm using a Note 9. And have used phones with curved screens for a few years now. It's one of the risks involved with having a curved screen phone.
Addy M that is very true and sadly even though I loved my Galaxy S6 with a flat screen it is the exact reason I did not upgrade to another Samsung phone. I really wish Samsung provided the option of still having a flat screen

It's not a scientific test. The slightest difference in release and/or angle of impact makes a big difference in results

@Anas Khalil The SIM tray??😂 You mean that tray where you can either put a 2nd SIM card or SD card in? Dumbass, it saves weight. Therefore the S10 doesn't feel like a brick when you hold it.

Holding phone at txting level .. around where your chest is .. and you know when your dropping something and you instinctively try to catch it but bang it making it drop harder and faster .. this will be a good test.
