- Today we are looking at possibly the cheapest Nissan skyline R33 GTST’s purchased in the United States. We talk all about it in the video and what he paid. Then the owner and I both drive it around. The R33 gets a lot of hate but I do like it a little more over the R32 because it’s slightly bigger. Being 6’1 I feel more comfortable in it.

$10K , now that's what these old cars should sell for regularly, they'd be a lot more of them around.
I know right. For $10k I’d get me one too. It would look good in my garage with my other cars. 🤣
@@shaneomatic91 I know the Price reflects the condition but that's ok that way you can built it how you want or restore it.
I love 90s Japanese car!
@@Andy-Andeee me too obviously. I’ve recorded a lot of them but yeah it’s not perfect but it’s a damn good start. Sometime soon we’re gonna feature a R34 aswell. Waiting on my buddy to get it running again. It’s almost done.
@@shaneomatic91 Nice, make it happen Captain 👍
I love this car! Probably more because it got beat in japan and came to the states to get beat on even more! Owner seems humble too
That’s why I like it. And the fact he got a great deal on it.
@@shaneomatic91 That is the pizza delivery machine! 🤣
@@clarenceperkins3115 hell yeah. You could get a lot of tips in it. On the other hand you might not get a lot of runs. Lol everyone would be stopping you to look at it and eating your time up. 🤣
This man has driven more skylines than any one I know now lol. Also dude I like the little things he has on that car , like the time correct gauges.
We may have to buy one now 😂
Yes this car was pretty cool and the story about it.
@@jasminquinones1058 we need a shop
@@shaneomatic91 yes we do!
@@jasminquinones1058 as soon as building prices go down we will.
Just bought mine from Japan, waiting for space on a vessel to be shipped over to me in Florida. My level of excitement and impatience is through the ROOF. Costed 20k for the car, FULLY stock type 2 Gtst with fresh paint.
Hell yeah! That’s awesome. Congrats man! I’m really considering buying a R33 myself to add to my fleet. I think it’ll be a good addition to my cars. Next year sometime I’m gonna be filming my buddy picking up his r34 GTR from the Houston port. Super excited to see the process.
I want that car! I love the GTR but AWD isn’t as fun to me. Going slidwayz is the best wayz!
I agree! I love this thing too. I’m considering getting one like this aswell. I think it’ll be a nice addition. 14 Mustang 5.0, 91 Eagle talon, and a R33 lol randomness.
❤❤that’s my baby @cailin love you!!
I really enjoyed his car. Now my wife wants a r33 lol
Not a bad score!
Not at all. Needs a little love but it’s not in bad shape. Drives really good.
Sickkk long live nissans
🤘🤘 as soon as my friend gets his R34 back we’re doing that one too.
Let’s buy one!
Let’s do it. Lol
I bet this was a blast
It was. I actually like the r33 more than the r32. More room. Lol
10 is a WIN
Yeah it was. Unfortunately this car was totaled last year in an intersection. Some guy ran a red light and plowed into the front end of it. My buddy wasn’t hurt just super pissed about the car.
Found this video looking for mod inspo.
I just bought a ‘93 R33 GTST for AUD$10k, all stock minus coil overs so not racing spec like this so im stealing ideas 😅
Do you guys feel these cars are selling like hidden gems sometimes as I find people here tend to gravitate towards the R34s
I feel R33’s were always kinda the underdog. Seems no one really wanted them here in the states compared to the 32 and 34. But over the last several years they’ve became more popular. Idk if that’s because of them all being legal here now and available. R34’s are slowly becoming available here and I bet over the next couple years they’ll be everywhere. I still would rather have a 33 GTR over a 34. I love both but too much attention with a 34 and the prices are insane.
Interesting it was a "track car" and they left the HICAS active. I've advocated for keeping HICAS for decades... but so many mindlessly delete it as they have seen others on RUclips (or used to be forums) delete it.
Yeah they did something with it over there. It handles really well. It’s nice seeing the HICAS still working. I recorded a 3000gt vr4 recent with the 4 wheel steering and it handles amazing. Didn’t have any crazy roads around when we filmed it but we had did some wild lanes changes. Lol 😂
Well it has been proven for decades that once you upgrade power and wider wheels and tires the hicas ecu tends to start to freak out. Im getting ready to delete itnhere soon. It doesn't help the handling much even in stock form
why would they drill out welds ? welds are stronger than rivets. hence why type R Honda's are fully welded body panels
That was my first thought too. Idk man. That’s what the owner of the car was telling me. The welds makes sense.
Welds are surface deep with 2 panels. But where those welds are there are about 4 panels layered. Hence why only some were drilled and riveted. It adds more strength to those particular spots.
So what was the guys name he got it from would be interested in talking to him lol.
He bought it from Mike Valencia. If you want his info I can get it if you’re interested in buying a Japanese spec car.
@@shaneomatic91 yes very interested. Im Selling my sti I have so I can buy a r33.
Love it! Thanks for the love bro.
Yes sir. It was a good time. Thanks for bringing it out. 💯
You must be a Honda lover change into Skyline 😊😊
Idk if he had a Honda or not. I think he had a gs300 before this.
@@shaneomatic91 just saw a tatoo with honda on his arm
@@silapuafisi3481 true. I didn’t think of that. lol
car look 10x better in japan....
I like those wheels it had. Not sure what happened to them after this owner got it. I didn’t like that spoiler it had on it back then tho.
Got mine for 21k 98000 mi
That’s not a bad price. Seems about average for one.
