I work for Costco. Every now and then, I get a member shopping for things that you recently do videos on. Usually FlavCity or Bobby Approved being brought up indicates that they follow you. Guessing I should expect these cheeses to increase in sales this weekend 🤣🤠

Thanks for sharing! 😊I work at Costco and actually stock department 19, which is the higher end cheeses, lunch, meats, pastas, spiral hams, and dips etc. Just a reminder, not all Costco’s are created equal, and do not always carry some of the products that you mention. I have had a couple of members get extremely upset when I tell them that we do not carry a specific item that you have mentioned in your videos.
It’s common sense, as it is that way with all stores, Grocery or not. 😂

I appreciate that he always says, “if” your Costco has this… Because yes, each Costco does not carry all these great items. It looks like this one is extremely well stocked unlike the ones in California at least in my southern California area where I shop at five different ones to try to find products. Still haven’t found That wonderful mozzarella cheese… It seems that the managers of these stores make the decisions? I’m not sure that these managers have any clue what goes on in the neighborhoods in which they work. Because they do transfer managers from here to there, so how would they know? That is if it’s true that managers make the major decisions and directing which direction they will go and purchasing products to sell at that location. 🤷🏻♀️
FYI: since Bobby is speaking about dairy I want to share with everyone that Kerry Gold wrapping has recently found PFAS aka teflon. The chemicals in the wrapping leaks into the butter. Kerry Gold is aware and fixing the situation. Be safe and well.

Our lovely Costco just raised the price on the "Bobby Approved" Turkey Lunchmeat to $11+ per pound here in Oregon--yah that is a big no now due to inflation, can no longer afford it--someone else might be able to afford $11 per pound lunchmeat, but not the average person

Hi Bobby! What about Spanish Manchego Cheese? They have it at my Costco in Texas. My husband is spaniard and we favor items from Spain 🇪🇸 much of the times. Of course we love parmesan but manchego needs to be recognized as well. I know they have one brand 2 options.

YASS! The Parmegiano Reggiano is legit! The European cows produce A2 casein which is NOT inflammatory, as compared to the A1 casein that comes from the Holstein cow. I also love their goat and sheep cheeses.

Can it be frozen?
@@acleonards1179 I can certainly imagine it can be frozen to maintain freshness for an even longer time. I do find though, that the hard cheeses like Parmesan last a loooooooong time even when not frozen.

You hit on my favorite Costco cheeses, except you missed the Manchego. Cut from a block with a black rind. It’s from Spain, sheep’s milk, delicious and 1/2 inch wrapped slices freeze and thaw beautifully.
Describe the flavor. intrigued, but I like delicate creamy flavors, nothing skunks or pungent/biting

Love the Manchego! It’s a nice alternative for us since we try to avoid cow’s milk. We use it in place of Parmesan.
Freeze? Just eat the whole block for dinner.

Tips on how to store these cheeses after using please ?
I was told once to wet a piece of paper towel with water , sprinkle some salt on it then wrap your cheese i it , then put the cheese in the a ziplock. It prevents the cheese from moulding ! It works for me 👍🏻

If you're ever able to find a Natural Grocer's store, would you please do a video about the best products to find there? Unfortunately i've never been able to afford a Costco or Sam's Club membership and the nearest Whole Foods store to where I live is on the other side of town, so it's a little too far. The only stores i'm able to really go to that are known to have a healthy variety of products is a Natural Grocers and a Sprouts store that is still a bit far. Thanks for the advice about what to buy, thanks to you I know what ingredients to avoid now!

Dr Berg has a video about Muenster as the cheese with the most Vitamin K2. Natto has more, a fermented soybean paste that is an acquired taste for most outside of where it is common in Asia.

One thing about the Gruyère, if you want the real deal look for the "AOP" label as it guarantees the authenticity of products made according to traditional know-how. Thanks to Costco to have my hometown cheese in California and... for a decent price!!!

My Costco in Mooresville, NC doesn’t have siete chips anymore, no more Bobby-approved chocolate sweet treats, no more primal foods Buffalo sauce, no more chickpea pasta (or any wheat pasta substitute) and gas was the same price as our local gas station. I’ve been very unimpressed with the selection lately.
I bought some of prime foods buffalo sauce at my local Costco in southern California and my stomach didn't like it, it has too much vinegar, I normally don't get heartburn anymore because I eat healthy but the buffalo sauce gave me heartburn, I'm never buying it again.
Costco here in Memphis seems to be dwindling on some of the selections I've historically bought there. Flax, good avocado oil, Super greens, etc.... and, yep, not worth waiting in line for gas either

My local Costco in the San Francisco area has 2lb containers of Rodopa Bulgarian feta (white cheese) for around $8. The cheese is made from sheep's milk and is imported from Bulgaria. I think Bobby's wife is from Bulgaria. I wonder if he has ever seen Rodopa at a Costco?

FYI....Thrive market per my chat conversations & emails, to cancel "they do not cancel" but will give me two free months. (False advertising, site says "cancel anytime") It took me days to cancel & my husband had to CALL them. In one email the CSR said "I did you a favor by canceling your membership) It's not easy peasy. Love your channel but this was a horrible experience for me. They will not schedule a cancel but will schedule to take my money from my credit card. I unsubbed to you during my frustration but Iam back. They need to be careful what they put in writing!
Unfortunately many online experiences make unsubscribing all but impossible, and that's why I still prefer to buy in person. I just had a 3 hour go round with a clothing debacle. Luckily my AMEX is great to work with and have blocked a handful of these from posting charges.

I will try the other cheeses you showed here. We've been buying Kerrygold, Parmigiano Reggiano and the Greek Feta but will try your suggeated Picorino cheese and the Mozza balls.
The EU banned GMO and thus there is no use for roundup. Thus, ALL products from the EU are non GMO.

The only two pecorino romano cheeses worth buying are Locatelli and Suni Fulvi. I buy suni fulvi from Whole Foods for about $17/lb so I'm definitely checking out costco!

We spend at least $500/month at Costco and that's one trip exercising great restraint! I did place an Instacart order from Aldi for the first time last month and was a little underwhelmed with choice and quality.

Aldi has some good deals on cheese... Also, Trader Joe's has this Israeli sheep's milk feta that is on a whole nuther level, and for a good price
