Nice video dave im getting a panther 1700W this week im torn between clamped carbon poles or push pit carbon is it worth the extra cost for clamped mate?
Some people prefer the clamped but personally I think I prefer the push fit as they seem slightly more ridged. The only thing with the push fit is that you have to make sure you clean and PTFE spray them regularly so that they don't stick together. The only time I had a problem with that was when I had been using them for a few years and was being lazy with my after use care.
Hi Dave great video you have made my decision on buying the predator but what go pro are you using matey cause I could use a decent inspection camera on mine aswell 🙌🏻
How do you know the gutters are clean , do you have a camera ? What happens when the gap between tiles and gutter is too small, do you check if the downpipes are clear ?
Yes I have a camera to check that they are clear. There are narrow nozzles that usually fit and if they don’t then it’s up a ladder. You can normally tell if the down pipes are clear as you can hear air being sucked up it when you put the nozzles in the top. If you can’t clear it with the vacuum it normally needs taking apart so it’s up the ladder
Love your videos Dave, I have just invested in a 3000 watt vac, I am looking for advice on health and safety statements regarding going onto a job. Good afternoon Dave, I am starting up with gutter cleaning, my system is 3600 watt power though only used it once on my own property. How do I quote please
Best way to do it is to measure the length of gutter the multiple it by a figure. This figure will depend on the area you live in. You can also charge more on height and the amount you have to clean. For a 3bed semi I normally charge £5/m as a guide
Have you ever looked in your gutters with a ladder after thinking you’ve emptied them ??? I carry ladders on the van. As we all know you can’t always get to everything and I have checked gutters with them after I have emptied them and so far I’ve had no problems not saying it can’t happen though so
