    Theres a lot of amazing beautiful hiking places in california from mountains to canyon to water falls to rivers to lakes

      WE are definitely lucky to live in such a diverse place. There are great hike here that cover everything from beaches and forests to deserts. We do our best to explore all of it, but there is always going to be more! :)

    I have done this hike a few times. The rope section is a lot of fun. the ladders may have been gone by now, but there were a series of ladders in Painted canyon off to your left that led to another canyon. Good video, I love her enthusiasm.

      Thank you so much Norm! We have never heard of additional ladders! Is it to the left of the start of ladder canyon? If so, we need to get out there to check them out!

    @6:00 rock has those rings because it is pushed from the ground because we are in the San Andreas Fault line area. i got that info from a previous video on this trail

    Hmm...I'm heading out towards Palm Springs in about a month...this is a loop hike, yes?

    Why is she in so much of a race to hurriedly speed thru this hike?! My Gawd, can't she enjoy this more as tho she's "shopping at the Mall" speed?

      We have done this hike a bunch of times. We are actually pretty slow hikers. Maybe it just looked fast in the video. I believe in this one we were actually trying to finish the hike before a storm rolled in.
