Boy ive missed you, Samantha! I've enjoyed your shows for years, and have been a huge fan, as well. Also, you look great as well, haven't aged a bit. Nice to see you again friend, 🙋♂️. Please be healthy, safe, and loved, in all your journey's, - Paul.
No problem! Had i known you'd be in my "parts", the Coachella Valley, specifically La Quinta, we'd loved to of had you for dinner! We'd also wouldve given you tips, on the best places to go/eat/drink at, that true locals patronize. Oh well, maybe next time Samantha, 😉, -Paul + family.
Thanks! I should have done this a long time ago but love that my international fans can finally watch "Places to Love" (as well as everyone else on YT)
Oh my gosh! I’m so excited to see you again. You were one of the first before RUclips and here you are. Ooh La La. I can’t wait to see your travel posts.
Watching the OG of travel shows! Still incomparable! ❤ Because of your shows when I was in high school, my interests in architecture, interior design and travel grew so much as well as my knowledge in these areas! 😍
What an incredible video. I’m actually relocating to the greater PS area next month, and found so many activities in your video I plan on checking out! Thank you!
Hello Samantha! I just came across this while planning a trip to PS! I was so happy to see you and I have missed all your travel adventures. Glad to see your back!
Another excellent episode, lots of variety. Other than the incredible homes, Palm Springs is also SO MUCH about dining, and shopping, it would’ve been great to see a bit more about the distinctive restaurants, bars, and shops of the area, it’s LITERALLY what most people’s days are planned around. ……and maybe something about Palm Desert? Congrats on the Emmy!!
true, we just try to show as well rounded a group of experiences that we can. Otherwise we would be like most of the other travel shows out there that just cover food only. Thanks for watching!
Fun and informative video. I loved the desert scenes and the interview with the Park Ranger on his third career, finally doing something he always wanted to do. I subscribed.
This was SO well done! You’re such a great host and the production value is world-class. I’m surprised your subscriber count is so low, are you new to RUclips? It feels like you have a lot of experience in traditional media. You’ll blow up in no time, I liked & subscribed!
I miss watching professional tour guides like yourself. Here on RUclips it seems just about everybody is an expert on giving travel advice about vacationing in a nation for which they were not born in, HaHa 😆 Many RUclipsr "travel advisors" don't do any research and/or don't know even how to pronounce native words correctly.
Omg, i just found you❤again. I used to watch you all the time! My wife gets jealous. I've seen a couple of these on some sub-par cable station, and the quality was terrible.
unfortunately every PBS station has different ways they broadcast which I have no control over... However, this is the only place you can watch my show in 4k! thanks for subscribing!
Let’s go “Back to the Future as it used to be envisaged” by the mid-century modern era…the latest good tech & the spirit/culture of the post war era. Plus let’s make our regular homes for pleasure - we live there most of the time. Especially now with everything that’s happening in the world.
I think that type of optimism is necessary now with all that’s going on. Bring back “the future as it used to be envisaged”….Modern tech & AI/Robots with the mid-century retro culture!
Great episode. But, living in Indio, I prefer the Coachella Valley, rather than the Greater Palm Springs. Each city offers something special, and we get visitors and snow birds for the entire valley. Visitors no longer need to hear Palm Springs to visit.
Wow, you forgot to show the homeless drug addicted zombies walking all around the city. The parking garages that are soaked to pee with trash all around. Palm Springs is falling apart. How did you miss this important fact? What happened to live here? I’ve seen it change the last 10 years. It’s pathetic what the people running this town have done to it and you come here and ignore all of that?
What you described can be found in many cities & communities. Plus you have all the things to love in Palm Springs like the weather, stunning natural beauty & lifestyle.
@@MarkyMark662 I don’t know. You’ve probably got information sources near you & I can only guesstimate from a distance. Enjoy what’s good about your area - I visited in 2092 I think & it’s stunning.
@@danielgrimes4597 I would love to enjoy it, but it's hard when your bike has been stolen in your car has been broken into. Homeless drug addicts create a major issue here. our renters had their bikes stolen as well. It's people who don't speak out and seem to accept this as the norm are just as much of a problem. If there's an issue, you need to fix it, if your house is burning, you put it out., Just enjoying it as you say while it is falling apart is ridiculous. It was not like this 8 years ago, what changed? People who feel that we should open our communities up to homeless and welcome them.
California has so many beautiful places 🤩

I’m sure when you did this episode, it was not during the summer.
Just skip it during the heat of the summer. Winter is when Palm Spring shines and really gets hopping for Modernism Week.

We considered that title too but settled on GPS as not everyone in USA knows what Coachella is. Thanks for watching!
Great video. What if you wake up and realize you’re in a video game? Don’t worry.
Little disappointed there was no clips on communities of color.
Other than Palm Springs no one does these activities

Samantha Brown spends to much time talking to individuals like a shop owner or a cook at the expense of showcasing the area and its attractions
That's the point of my show. Meeting the local people... Plenty of other "best of" type shows out there!
To do an entire episode on Palm Springs and not mention the HUGE gay community must of taken a concerted effort. I’m so disappointed :(
Disagree, didn't feel that I needed to point out to the viewer who I was talking to was or wasn't gay.
