avoid summer around May to June I think because we have 99 to 115 degree or I don't know how to call that so hot that month here you can"t enjoy .. avoid snake if you trail and drink plenty of water
We are from Phoenix. I listen to KGAY Radio through I ❤ Radio. It keeps me up to date on everything that is going on in Palm Springs. We are frequent visitors and love the area.
I haven´t been on the tram for about 20 years. There were great views from the top of Mt San Jacinto. I wonder, however, if this is still true. The skies are very hazy now over the Coachella Valley. I remember the skies were crystal clear in the 1980's and you could see the Milky Way at night.
Looks like no matter where I go there's going to be people there. Their in the desert, on mountain tops, and hovering down the mountains. On every trail and in every stream and body of water. And blocking every view.
What exactly do you mean by ghetto? I lived there during that period. Palm Springs was (probably still is) very unequal. There was violence, some of my friends from P.S. high school were murdered. But I don´t think I would call it a ghetto. There was a lot of construction (country clubs etc... in Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells), basically destroying the desert.
@@Truthkastcontrary to your popular opinion, if everyone was that way inclined, eventually, there’d be no one at their parades because it’s anti life my friend. No pro creation exists there.
The Living Desert is NOT in Palm Springs it's in Palm Desert, nor is the tram, it's in Idyllwild, in fact the majority of these things aren't in Palm Spring. LOL
Thank you for showing my fathers place @6:00.

Rudy’s General Store is permanently closed.
Thanks for sharing, that’s a real shame. I was most excited about that
We’ve visited Palm Springs six or seven times. I had never heard of Ruddy’s. I would love to see it. So sad it is closed for good.
What were the 3 things to avoid?
I was wondering the same thing.
if u dont wanna see the under belly of the desert, dont go north of the freeway out there @@barblarkin2733
Avoid the heat/plan activities for morning or evening, respect private property, don’t underestimate the desert/drink plenty of water.

No promised three things to avoid in this video, otherwise very good.
There are actually 3 things to avoid, after the 10th thing to do. Thanks for your comment though ;)

Cholla is pronounced, CHOY-a
And "Agua" is pronounced "A-whah" - not "A-gwah".
It’s an AI generated script and voice.
Great video....don't pronounce the L in palm
I was in PS in the late 80s it was actually a Ghetto. All the money was in the adjacent cities such as Palm desert and rancho mirage

All looks nice except the Pride. Not for me or many tourists. I’d say that’s for the locals.
Thanks for the comment! :)
Contrary to your personal opinion, LGBT tourism is the largest democratic for the Palm Springs area

Gee. A Guided Windmill tour. I can’t think of something I’d love to see more.,,,no

Those windmills do not power palm springs, funny lie
