@@filwilliamson9149 I know everyone thinks Vander will be Warwick, but I want Deckard to be Warwick since I think the voice lines will still make sense either way. Vander being Warwick will just detract from his sacrifice and I don't think Deckard's story with Singed is over yet.
@@vgolf3185 I doubt they'll make Deckard into Warwick, mainly because Deckard's existence in the show seemed to mainly be a short-term threat to the protagonists. He had no personality or exposition besides that he works for Silco, and that is not the type of character that you want to become a champion. Besides that, Deckard would not fit Warwick's lore at all. Warwick was a reformed gangster who tried to be the good man, which fits Vander very well. Deckard was a teenage lackey who never once tried to reform himself and I'm not even sure I would call Deckard a gangster. The lore also indicates that Singed kidnapped a grown man, not a teenager. Also, I don't think that Vander becoming Warwick invalidates his sacrifice. Vander was willing to give up everything to save his children, which he did. Having his corpse/near corpse recovered by Singed and then subjected to brutal torture and experiments doesn't detract from that, and honestly adds to it since he gave up far more than he could have ever thought. His intent is still the same. Frankly, it makes Vander's sacrifice even more tragic, since he thought he gave it all and then he lived to see himself turned into a monster and forced to forget everyone that he cares about. Also, with the number of hints that Riot has given, there is almost no chance that he isn't Warwick. They literally played Warwick's theme song in scenes from Vander's POV and made constant references to "letting the monster out" towards Vander, which was a big aspect of Warwick's bio.
I find it fascinating that Singed's character would seem to have both gone off the deep end of madness and science through his experiments and creation of shimmer, but yet he still retains a calm and level head, as seen when he considers Viktor's and Silco's futures if he helps them.
Singed in lore is still a scientist. He calmly records and studies his experiments and subjects, but he's abandoned all morality and ethics. In the show he cares enough to warn people, but thats the only major difference I really see in him.

Remember, Singed's chemical weapons would canonically wipe out like 80% of Piltover's armed forces. The surviving 20% of Piltover's forces would be crushed by super-soldiers like Warwick & DRM, gg. For all of Jayce's *"Your people wouldn't stand a chance"* , a war between Piltover and Zaun would end in a Zaun victory 10 times out of 10.
Jayce’s words, I think, are based on the presumption that Piltover would fully green-light Hextech weaponry. Hextech gear seems to be more powerful and have more utility than Chemtech. Enforcers with Hextech guns and swords (or, perhaps, gunblades) instead of muskets would probably make quick work of even soldiers in chemtanks. Not to mention every in-show use of Hextech v. Chemtech has Hextech winning. That said, if Arcane’s Singed does have his poison gas from Ionia, those would turn the tide. That’s a notable if, though; whilst Singed could have the recipe for the concoction mentally logged, he used it when working with Noxus; the barons may not have the resources to invest in such an arsenal. Even then, I’m uncertain as to whether anyone would allow their use on either side. I imagine the fallout of such an attack would leak a bit into Zaun, if not turn Piltover into another toxic wasteland like the undercity.
