The thing about Isha is, shes just Powder incarnate, shes basically a mixture of Jinx and Vi. Shes innocent, chaotic and self sacrificial just like Jinx is but shes protective, competent and brave like Vi. She's basically the ideal little sister for them and thats why she so quickly assimilates into the family and joins those group hugs
I think what's interesting is also that Isha is the opposite of Powder in many ways. She's much more competent than Powder was and already very independent from when we meet her. She takes initiative by herself and seemingly learned how to make explosives and other tools with much less error (probably because Jinx taught her) and when she sacrifices herself, she actually does save her family and knew what she was doing unlike Powder in Episode 3. She's like Vi in a lot of ways, including her enthusiasm to fight for Zaun just like young Vi. She is what Powder wanted to be. "Twice the person she is at half her age" - Mylo I also think Jinx not teaching Isha restraint is her inheriting Silco's bad parenting because he also fails to teach her appropriate boundaries.
What’s more though is if you go even deeper, powder became what Vi unintentionally created or portrayed HERSELF to be… not following orders, fighting piltover and harming innocent people, encouraging powder to do things she didn’t want to do but felt she had to in order to gain Vis approval or love. Vi tried but led an example that said other wise throughout. Jinx unintentionally saves Isha BUT she intentionally changes certain actions. So she seemingly never does anything dangerous while Isha is with her past the parkour. It’s Isha who wants to push jinx into violent rebellion regardless if it’s to save people. While jinx is ONLY concerned with Isha being safe guarded and kept away from such things. Vast contrast. Little kids idolize and pick up things adults do regardless of intention. Where Vi failed is her rage and anger problems which powder picked up on. She internalized those issues and it defined her and made her prime fro Silcos nonsense. Whereas Jinx actively tried to change those traits she saw in Vi with Isha and unintentionally made Isha proud of her and idealize her heroism. Not the outcomes but jinx’s actual intentions which were almost always pure in her own head. Isha became the version of jinx she saw While powder became a version of Vi she saw and that was Jinx the violent zaunite. There’s a quote from a horror movie I love “We must be careful that our children don’t inherit our obsessions and vices.”
I think a lot to do with Isha's competence comes from the fact that she has a role model to base off of for these particular skills. Powder had Vi, sure, but Vi was "more into hitting things." For Isha, she has Jinx who can show her all these things the "right way" compared to where Powder had years of trial and error. "Twice as much at half the age" is to be expected when you have someone to show you the ropes the way they're intended. Jinx really is likely a fantastic teacher in this regard as she had to learn everything the hard way and can now pass successes on to others without them requiring to struggle as she did
he didn't kill any child yet this season singed was the one who made vander become warwick and if you're talking about the kid viktor "saved" then they're not humans they don't count either
@@majoraccident1924No they are dead bodies with a emulation of personality of the person while they were alive. Jayce literally asked if it was really Solas and him not emitting heat while breathing and none of the people Vikto "healed" showed no discomfort like cold or they feet hurting from walking bare feet when Solas himself was a topside person so he would show visible discomfort from that. All of these things and the lack of emotion show that all of them can only be "calm" they don't fear, get angry or sad they quite literally aren't human. And act II end has Viktor saying that human emotions are a problem, again shows that he was manipulating each person he contacted and he will do it again but even worse. This is probably the moment he becomes the herald of new age.
I think we could also mention how Jinx actually FIXES 4 important things when Isha is around Sevika's arm, her gun(turning Cait's bullethole into a hexgem port), her finger, and of course her family. Isha literally brings forth that part of Jinx that fixes things, not the one that destroy's them
@@DomiojyiX It's a game where Jinx fixes things before certain scenes in the show. First she fixes Sevika's arm before Vi and Caitlyn walk in with the Grey. The next Jinx fixes up the juke box in the Last Drop before she heads out to find Vander in the mines. The third act hasn't come out yet, so that chapter of the minigame is locked
Interestingly enough powder by definition shockingly means divided material, or explosives…. And jinx is just bad luck… If you go deeper, powder/jinx fulfilled the fleeting wants of Vi. She embodies the rage, hatred of topside, and violent outbursts that Vi repeatedly demonstrated in their youth. Everything Powder/Jinx did was to be just like her big sister. Similarly Isha embodied the true nature of of powder/jinx which was always the idea of selfless, reckless, joy and protection. Powder/jinx achieved the chaos Vi always secretly wanted in her youth but could never accomplish While Isha was able to accomplish what powder/jinx really wanted all along. To save her friends and family even at the cost of her life.
The fact that Isha is mute to someone like Jinx who suffers from vivid hallucinations Isha was the first person who wasn't haunting her. She both represents the silent struggle of the unaligned fissure people but also the greatest comfort someone can receive someone who would honestly listen
Thank you! I saw so many people taking issue with her being mute but I think it helped make her character even more compelling. Silent, but not silent...
Thank you for bringing up intentionally. On tiktok I've been seeing videos saying "Vi's realizing that Jinx is a better older sister than she ever was." When I feel that the show hasn't conveyed that. Tho Vi wasn't perfect, she sid her best to take care and PROTECT her sister. Whereas Jinx doesn't do this in the same way. She will protect Isha of she knows she is in danger, but she lacked the protective instinct to protect her from possible future danger. She mainly just let's Isha run free. Which I like cause it says a lot about her as a character. It felt like she was giving Isha the room to be herself without anything holding her back. The room she needed as kid to further more perfect her skill. It's not really that Jinx knew she was being irresponsible, but just that she saw her as an equal, a friend, which is beautiful, but because of this ot never occurred to her to be more vigilant for Isha's sake. That tho Isha is a human being and is just as deserving as anyone of dignity, respect, and freedom, she is also a much smaller, more vulnerable human being, that she needs to constantly look out for. Since Jinx isn't used to having someone smaller to take care of a lot of things just didn't occur to her. Where as Vi had the instinct to always look out for Powder. She gave her the room to be who she was, and encouraged her to keep on going even when she felt all her efforts were pointless (which is role in Jinx's life she still took on even when they were apart, based on what she said in the beginningof tea party scene). She allowed Powder to come along but only when she felt she was ready, this way she wouldn't bite off more than she could chew. This why I believe Isha's death parallels the scene where Powder is left behind because she's not ready. Tho I believe Vi did a good job at explaining why Powder couldn't come, it didn't fully sink in for Powder, because in the moment it feels like all her fears of not being good enough, or as competent as the others was confirmed by her biggest supporter. But I feel now with Isha's death she finally realizes the real reason she was left that night. It's because she was inadequate, it's not cause she was "a jinx", it was for her own safety. Cause she was all Vi had left. Vi was only trying to avoid the loss that Jinx is now currently going thru (efforts that were sadly in vain considering how she still ended up losing everyone that night). A protective instinct that never left. Even tho she was injured she still shielded Jinx's body from the explosion.
It really comes down to a movie quote that’s always stuck with me “We must be careful that our children don’t inherit our obsessions and vices” Intention isn’t always the factor when children look up to their elders. Powder became jinx in an effort to become what she idolized and saw in Vi. Her rage, aggression, and violent outbursts of emotion. Self destructive outbursts….. Similarly Isha became what she idolized in her elder. A lack of self preservation in efforts to save people. Even when jinx STOPPED and hid in order to keep Isha safe who she truly is is and what’s innate to her nature wasn’t something she could hide from Isha. And she ran with it doing what jinx couldn’t/wouldn’t. Just like for all of Vis rage and anger she could never enact the violence jinx did without thought or remorse.
whats funny is its a lie that vi is a better sister when has Jinx ever smacked the shit outa isha xD And Vi didnt smack her once no no no in the music video we saw her crashing out on Powpow then AFTERRR she dipped out on her little sister i personally could never. And her "protecting" Her sister wouldnt have been her running off to go help vander if she died who would powder have hypothetically if the others got away mylo and klagger arent good enough for her
Both are great sisters Both have more going on than realistic people lol So obviously things get messy as sisters or guardians Even now they are still young so how much are they supposed to get right?
8:48 "And in Isha's mind, for all she knows, Jinx is just gonna lay down there again and let herself die." BROOOOO TOO EARLYYY T-T but you are so right! I had not put that together, that Isha would see Jinx not getting up immediately and go into "sacrifice/protection mode"
The way jinx is definitely self-aware that she’s danger herself and no one’s safe around her SO thats why she at the start of timeskip gave up on chaos and shit stuff (stuff she talked w silcos chair lol) But life forces shit on jinx, making her really a jinx😭
1. Best analysis video of Isha I've seen so far (I knew the falling hat must have meant something but I didn't think of this! And I'm so happy someone talked about the bunny ears) 2. As a European, I think it's so dystopian that kids in the US have heroic dreams of saving their classmates from a shooter. Like can we just stop for a second. EDIT: Guys I feel like I've got to clarify because some people are missing the point. I'm not saying it's dystopian that kids have fantasies about being heroes in gun violence - heck, I had those too. I'm saying it's dystopian that kids in the US specifically live under such real threats of gun violence at their SCHOOL, the place they go to every day, that the heroic context they dream about is saving their classmates in school shootings. Thanks to the 300 people who seem to have got the point, though :)
yeah when your constantly living under fear of something and also constantly being force fed strong tough revolutionary fighters in tv n movie media, its likely youll imagine fighting against the injustices closest to you. like yeah some kids think it in a grotesque self serving fantasy, but most kids are coping with their fear by imagining their own immense bravery- as a european, who the fuck are u to think you know and can judge what american students are thinking and feeling- like ur comment seems to be blaming the kids for havbing these dystopian thoughts and not instead the people who are creating this dystopian environment for these children to have that kind of reactions like yeah when the world is messed up around/towards you ur gonna have a high likely hood of thinking messed up thoughts in response
@@JosefinaQB stfuu op wasn't judging any kids, you're just projecting and being overemotional the judgement is on stupid adult americans who will never change the status quo and let this dystopian seeming reality to happen

"That which inspires us to a greatest good, is also the cause of our greatest evil" - this is the last line Viktor says. While I belive it's foreshadowing for something truly evil he is about to do, it very much applies to daughters in this series. Singed, Ambessa, Vander, Silco, Marcus and now.... Jinx. I also belive the there is hope of reconciliation for Jinx. Yes these deaths will hurt her but, for the first time in her life when somebody around her dies, it's of their own free will conviction and terms. Vander and Silco were more or less killed by Jinx. Isha dies with full agency, and chooses to go out protecting Jinx. While traumatic, it probably is also cathartic in a way.
One of my favorite scenes from season 2 actually emphasizes Jinx’s lack of self-preservation perfectly. When she gets cornered by that gang in act 1, right before Sevika shows up. She’s pinned to a wall and threatened with a needle to the face. But just like every other time she encounters danger, Jinx doesn’t flinch. Ever. And while talking about Silco, she lurches forward with the needle inches from her eye, forcing it to move backwards! She barely notices the thing!
This just put a new perspective in my head. Isha is like Powder. The fact that Isha loves Jinx so much means that Powder probably loves Jinx too. This is huge for Jinx's mental health. She's always suffering because of this divide between Jinx and Powder like oil and water, but now that Isha is here wanting to be like Jinx, there's no more divide. Jinx and Powder can be one and the same. Jinx can now move on from her past.
First video that actually gives a good analysis of WHY Isha would do what she does at the end...the simple "to save Jinx" never really fit, as there was a good chance Jinx was gonna be fine. There literally was no real reason for her to sacrifice herself when she could have done 1000 different things, such as bringing zappy to Jinx, try to drag Jinx away, bring the stones back to Vi for her gauntlets etc. You actually gave a pretty good answer to what lead Isha to that decision that didn't involve the obvious: "Because the writers needed her dead" and that to me makes a lot of sense on a realistic psychological sense!
5:42 Psychologically , motivationally , writing wise the death scene broke me 💀 (Good vid I loved your analysis of her character keep up da great work!)
In the first episode of the act, Jinx told Sevika to take Isha away while she stayed behind to fight Warwick. In the last episode, Vi held Jinx back while Isha went to blow everyone up. Isha learned the best and the worst from her big sis.
i like some of these points a lot... especially pointing out how while isha intentionally parallels powder there are also quite a few differences, most notably stemming from how isha was on her own for some time presumably before she fell into jinx's life vs how powder was The baby sibling of the group in her case. and these things impact a lot of the characterization present for both of them! one other thing though. i think it's clear from the teasers that jinx is going to be in an awful mental space for some time but i actually don't think that isha's death fully represents the "death of your childhood self" here. a lot of jinx's arc this season has literally been about acceptance of childhood and while there is a sense of mourning to that present i think it's very clear that this is not a retreading of the ending of s1 with her mental state.
Isha's character and end gave me a particular heartache that I couldnt quite put into words until this video... she was doomed, but WHY she was doomed, and how, is what really stings the most. She's just one of many sad Zaunites who just wants to live life to her fullest, and I think she really did even in her short time. I love her.
I maintain that Isha isn't mini-Jinx, she's mini-Vi. Yes, she idolizes Jinx and wants to be her, but her instincts to jump into a fight she has no hope of winning are very Vi coded. The first time we see her she attempts that jump and fails, which seems like Powder, but Powder needed coaxing and reassurance. The bunny was also Vi's toy before she gave it to Powder. And the biggest hint she's Vi? Jinx likes her. Jinx fights Vi not because she hates Vi, but because Vi wants her to be someone she DOES hate...Powder. I know Jinx at one point says Isha reminds her of Powder(that's a confusing set of words, lol), but who the heck would think Jinx is reliable in that way? Isha is(was :( ) mini-Vi.
That's the whole theme The cosplayers IRL And with the Jynx copy cats in the city Like Batman Beyond with the Jokers A bunch of idiots trying to be someone else instead of finding themselves
Isha represents Powder in another life. If she was treated with respect if she was given the room to help and if she was a strength and not a weakness. But it is because she is all of this that she ends up on the opposite path from Jinx. She ended up dead sacrificing herself for her side. Isha was a renewed innocence for Jinx and to see the world be so cruel to someone she could have been will lead Jinx into the final evolution of her character.
People made some theories about her not being dead bcs u can see a pink lighting right when the bomb goes off, and caitlyn is looking at the vents in that area at the end
In my opinion about arcane season 2 all episodes is a Time skip. Season 1 (act1X3) Powder lost everything that part got me, Season 2 (act 2X6) Isha and because time skip I'm not cry, I understand Isha can't save Jinx, she too young to chose to stop Warwick but in the end of the day, that's how Family do and Isha chose to do it like a champ.
I could be wrong, but because of all the scenes towards the end of her bringing Warwick water in her helmet and stuff like that, i assumed there was also an element of her trying to put him out of his misery before the last of his humanity was burned away during that last rampage. Which would also be protecting jinx from having to kill her own father.
Isha dead was finally proven to be lackluster since Jinx act 3 is like a normal Jinx from any other episode before. she doesnt even has this anger toward Noxus (or the show doesnt really explain it well enough) in the final episode, she felt like a lose potential to change Zaun's population's idea about who's the real enemy is (Noxus), making her sacrifice a bit dull after. there should've been a scene where after Jinx get out of prison, and tried to kill herself but get saved by Ekko, she goes to Isha grave (or similar thing) and then from that moment she remember her sacrifice and go to visit higher Rank Zaun's gangs or have a big speech in Zaun central statue (that place where Isha blowing Blue Torch) convincing people to act together to help Piltover to stop Noxus army. that way the final episode will felt more satisfying to Isha Dead. the finale they do is more like Ekko's doing to unite zaun and help topside battling Noxus. Even Jayce Battle with Victor seems dull because the way he just surrenders to victor's army and get mind controlled just minute after he reached the top. and Ekko save the day again. what's the point of receiving big Arcane Infused Hammer if all he do with it was just shooting a couple of Q and then surrender.
I'm absolutely with you in the Jinx and Isha part. Jayce however, that was how it was supposed to be, he took the hammer from his failure, and when he fights and loses to Viktor he gets in the exact same position he found himself in (on the other timeline) The only change was Ekko's device
Nerd here. You used the scientific spelling of Jinx, stemming from the scientific name of the wryneck, which was often associated with bad omens due to witchcraft. I just know birds, don't ask.
Idk that Isha was intentionally sacrificing herself. She put in three hex crystals but likely didn't know that would cause the gun to explode killing herself. Very well could have simply been thinking it woild make it stronger.
i definitely got this too. Similarly to when powder used the hex crystal in act 1, she didn't realize the power it had. I think Isha had the same idea of doing something BIG to save everyone, and Jinx was afraid because knew she was going to make the same mistake that Powder did. I dont think Isha intentionally planned to kill herself
Nah, she knew what would happen. Firstly it's shown that she's competent with some of Jinx's gadgets, see that parachute smoke bombs she deploys. Secondly, as she's running she's crying and remembering all the happiness she had with Jinx (stylised flashbacks). She 💯 knew it was the end, and that's what made her a great little character.
You can see it in her face that she knows she will die when she closes her eyes. Also, even if it didnt blow up, being a small child stuck in the middle of Noxian soldiers isnt very healthy
So yall really think this child knew about how hextech worked and if she over clocked the gun it would explode? Yall think she just suicide bombed it like I'm gunna go kill myself here? There is a difference between being willing to put your life on the line and intentionally dying.
Isha I feel has a secret. Besides being a Yordle playing as a Human. She was sent to find someone. The person in a prophecy. She found it in Jinx, but how the ending of this show will make or break the theory. If Jinx does a sacrifice play. She will wind up where Isha landed and I'm saying it now. The next series is taking place in the land of the Yordles and Isha will speak for the first time to her after revealing who she really is.
This was very beautiful. I almost cried while watching this video. How could such a child be so brave to sacrifice herself? She must’ve believed deep down that Jinx can be better. I cannot wait for the next 3 episodes!
Shes also the second monkey bomb. Small, helmet makes her look like it, three gems that explode taking away vander. In the cave she even claps like it.
About time I found a video just on Isha About to watch this I want to know her backstory I mean where are her parents Why is she so willing to delete herself for the cause? I think she sees Jinx as the face of the cause, so imo she ended herself to protect the movement against topside
Are you all seeing that the time stop at the end of the episod ? Nobody talk about that but it’s cearly ekko who came back. Sadly, i don’t think he will save isha ( the explosion already happen and it’s better for the scenario i suppos, even if i hope not 😅
Isha's character is definitely parallel to Jinx i agree with everything here. HOWEVER, Isha is actually not a little Jinx - she's a little Vi. She's always trying to protect her loved ones - like Vi. She's very passionate about the revolution and freeing people - like Vi. She's always throwing herself at solving some problem often with her fists - like Vi. Jinx ans Isha are what would have been if Jinx and Vi's roles were reversed and Jinx was the little sister.
Riot must make Isho a support champion in the game. How she jumped in front of Warwick and Jinx to protect them and how she sacrificed herself for Jinx is just perfect lore for a support chmpion. Pls Riot, make it happen!
I'm super excited to see Jinx fight. When she went 1v1 against Vander and Ambessa's guard it was total “Cinema” haha. One thing I noticed is that every time (or almost every time) Jinx was defeated, she lost because they grabbed her hair.
This is a very good video. You've explained Isha's mindset so well, that it actually is somewhat a comfort after seeing her go out like that on Monday. I haven't felt this sad about a character dying since The Red Wedding, so good on the writers for knowing how to punch me in the feels. #JinxIsNotOkay
There’s a bit of an iffy question about if Jinx was ‘parenting’ so much as partnering. For the most part she treated Isha like a partner, friend or little sister but generally speaking respected her independence, to make her own decisions once they got closer. A lot less didactic than a parental relationship than she had with Vi all those years ago. There was a thought that occurred while I was watching when you mentioned the helmet as a symbol of protection, and it falling off when she’s in danger. We notice that the helmet is decorated very Jinx-like, and Isha takes a moment to tip it in place before she makes her sacrifice. With the helmet as a statement of protection, covered with Jinx’ iconography it reads like Isha making a silent declaration to protect Jinx, and put herself at risk when it falls off immediately after. A statement of protection, by endangering yourself.
as a kiwi who lives on almost the opposite side of the world the talk at 6:20 really kinda blew me away. It’s sad and scary that that is considered a normal occurrence in such young children in America like god damn you’d never hear anyone else make a statement like that.
I can't phantom how people actually rate this show a 1/10 like I understand if its between 5-10 but how can you say this show is a 1. Its truly incredible if we compare it to recent shows
Awesome analysis, I really enjoyed it, I think you covered it very well. One thing that I can’t get out of my head, about Isha’s sacrifice, is the scene where Jinx, Sevika and Isha goes to Stillwater to rescue the prisoners. Jinx introduces herself as their “big fat hero” multiple times during this scene, as she - as you mentioned - yet again puts herself in a dangerous situation. I think it’s a super relevant correlation. What if that’s what Isha also wanted to be? The big fat hero. Just like you said, when you’re a kid, you imagine yourself as the hero.
I love isha's character, an example of how can an inclusive and well written char can be made. Isha is mute, but that's not her whole character building, she has a lot of depth, definitely one of my favourite chars from the show.
SPOILER ALERT FOR THE FINALE I think all her attempts were a build up and foreshadowing to her death Jinx also tries to kill herself multiple times after escaping prison so that she could stop hurting people - this was only stopped by Ekko who was able to turn back time over 5 times to save her, to convince her to help fight against the glorious evolution. in the end, whilst he saved her from those suicide attempts, she dies from sacrificing herself to save Vi and finally pulls the grenade
Thank you for this video. After 1st watching act 2, Isha sacrificing herself didn't sit well with me but you mentioning that she's seen Jinx just give up when it comes to her family makes sense. Isha saw the situation in black and white and decided to save the situation not thinking how that's going to affect Jinx
Just made me realize that Viktor killed everyone he "purified," yes someone can say "no stupid, Jayce clearly killed them." But they experienced an ego death, joined a collective, their individuality was stripped the moment Viktor joined them together. It was through compassion that he robbed them of their lives. Yes, I came to this realization from the line on Jayce's streak of killing children. Nah, fam that was on Viktor.
Those hats were probably mass produced all with the same size. Zaun wasnt known for its safety standards. So it would make sense for it to be to big for a small child. But it falling of is most likely symbolism as well
I feel like I’m I the twilight zone with all the comments saying this is “an example of good parenting” when it’s actually the opposite, and Isha dying is representative of the dangers of child indoctrination

I think we could also mention how Jinx actually FIXES 4 important things when Isha is around
Sevika's arm, her gun(turning Cait's bullethole into a hexgem port), her finger, and of course her family.
Isha literally brings forth that part of Jinx that fixes things, not the one that destroy's them
Hold on cause in LOL there is now a thing I don’t know if it’s a game or like short story called “Jimx fixes everything”
@@DomiojyiX its a minigame in the league client
@@DomiojyiX It's a game where Jinx fixes things before certain scenes in the show. First she fixes Sevika's arm before Vi and Caitlyn walk in with the Grey. The next Jinx fixes up the juke box in the Last Drop before she heads out to find Vander in the mines. The third act hasn't come out yet, so that chapter of the minigame is locked
I misread what jinx turned in to a hexgem port😅
I hate that vander died again and isha
You can really tell that Isha's base character is protecting Jinx because her name literally means 'one who protects'
NO PLESE, I DIDNT WANT TO KNOW IT. I just love that little party pooper
Interestingly enough powder by definition shockingly means divided material, or explosives…. And jinx is just bad luck…
If you go deeper, powder/jinx fulfilled the fleeting wants of Vi.
Powder/jinx achieved the chaos Vi always secretly wanted in her youth but could never accomplish
While Isha was able to accomplish what powder/jinx really wanted all along. To save her friends and family even at the cost of her life.
@@xValRavnit also means life SOOOOOOO MAYBE SHES STILL ALIVE?
It really comes down to a movie quote that’s always stuck with me
“We must be careful that our children don’t inherit our obsessions and vices”
Intention isn’t always the factor when children look up to their elders.
And her "protecting" Her sister wouldnt have been her running off to go help vander if she died who would powder have hypothetically if the others got away mylo and klagger arent good enough for her
Both are great sisters
Both have more going on than realistic people lol
So obviously things get messy as sisters or guardians
Even now they are still young so how much are they supposed to get right?
I felt like a lot of things did occur to jinx. But ishas just do her own thing. Like jinx didn’t want to fight but isha forced jinx to fight.
@@Ariii443 exactly its like Vi didnt let powder do her own thing it was like protective sister Jinx is giving her what SHEEEE wanted i feel

Thanks to the 300 people who seem to have got the point, though :)

agree, it's not a disgusting truth
Everyone in the show will get their Glorius Evolution in ACT 3, it's been the underlying principal since episode 1.

Jinx was created to save Powder, and I think Isha's existence and love for her really does validate this.
Well, during Warwick introduction Jinx clearly and very intentionally stay to protect Isha against Warwick (big scary monster)
You actually gave a pretty good answer to what lead Isha to that decision that didn't involve the obvious: "Because the writers needed her dead" and that to me makes a lot of sense on a realistic psychological sense!

i like some of these points a lot... especially pointing out how while isha intentionally parallels powder there are also quite a few differences, most notably stemming from how isha was on her own for some time presumably before she fell into jinx's life vs how powder was The baby sibling of the group in her case. and these things impact a lot of the characterization present for both of them!
one other thing though. i think it's clear from the teasers that jinx is going to be in an awful mental space for some time but i actually don't think that isha's death fully represents the "death of your childhood self" here. a lot of jinx's arc this season has literally been about acceptance of childhood and while there is a sense of mourning to that present i think it's very clear that this is not a retreading of the ending of s1 with her mental state.
Isha's character and end gave me a particular heartache that I couldnt quite put into words until this video... she was doomed, but WHY she was doomed, and how, is what really stings the most. She's just one of many sad Zaunites who just wants to live life to her fullest, and I think she really did even in her short time. I love her.
Wow
The parallels in arcane are incredible
The most abrupt story arc in the season. In the third act they seem to forget Isha existed.
I do think jinx surrendered also if not mainly because of Isha's death... but yea i do wish they talked more abt her...

A really dark theory might be that she is much older than she looks like and that she might look like that because of malnourishement.
1:28 not only claggor's goggles but she has mylo's similar facial structure

Jayce however, that was how it was supposed to be, he took the hammer from his failure, and when he fights and loses to Viktor he gets in the exact same position he found himself in (on the other timeline)
The only change was Ekko's device

The moment i saw Isha relationship with Jinx in ep 4 i tought: She is going to die, isnt she?
Lol you made me cry 😭 I really hope Jynx becomes a hero❤
I think based on her actions , when she smiled and closed her eyes before shooting Warwick, it made me think she knew she would die.
The next series is taking place in the land of the Yordles and Isha will speak for the first time to her after revealing who she really is.
with act 3 now out. i am here to get a petition for Jayce and get an apology on his behalf. being that he was right
This was very beautiful. I almost cried while watching this video. How could such a child be so brave to sacrifice herself? She must’ve believed deep down that Jinx can be better. I cannot wait for the next 3 episodes!

3:16 I uh... I think she tried to kill herself a LOT more than that XD
SPOILER ALERT FOR THE FINALE
I think all her attempts were a build up and foreshadowing to her death
Jinx also tries to kill herself multiple times after escaping prison so that she could stop hurting people - this was only stopped by Ekko who was able to turn back time over 5 times to save her, to convince her to help fight against the glorious evolution. in the end, whilst he saved her from those suicide attempts, she dies from sacrificing herself to save Vi and finally pulls the grenade
