Again making it look so easy
Beautiful.😈
Are these kits recommended for a 2015 eco diesel 1500?
Rake is still there, just sots higher now.
Do they make this for RWD?
Estos suplementos requieren si o si cambiar parrillas delanteras. En caso de dejar las originales, quedan trabajando MAL. Es muy peligroso.
Thanx👍
Thanks for watching! -Zach
Can u install this on a 2019 ram rebel
Can i install this on my bilsteins 5100
What aftermarket control arms would you need for this leveling kit? I own a 2011 Ram 1500 RWD.
I used Zone control arms. Just looking at them they are beefy box welded. No problems for 3 years now. The stock ones are flimsy crap.
does this require after market upper control arms like other 3" level kits?
It would be a great addition to this kit if you have room in your budget! Without aftermarket upper control arms your factory ones will be at a pretty steep angle that could cause premature wear over time. -Zach
Is it completely necessary to buy new UCAs if I use these?
I dont go off-road.
Speed bumps is the closest thing that I will do to off-road.
Occasional curb climb at parkings perhaps.
They'll help keep your ride smooth and your upper control arms at the appropriate angle! If you have room in your budget, I'd highly recommend them. -Zach
Why does the front still sit lower than the rear? Supposed to be a leveling kit
If you put 3" you need to change your upper control arm or not ?
Yes,
No
I WOULD DEF SAY SO THE 1.5"SPACER I PUT IN MAXED OUT THE UPPER BALL JOINT NOT TO MENTION THE STRUTS ARE NOW BACKWARDS
Did you do a front end alignment after install?
We did not since we take these kits off our vehicle right after installation - I HIGHLY recommend getting an alignment after installing this on your truck though! -Zach
Never mind using a torque wrench to spec set all those suspension nuts 🤦🏻♂️
No point when reinstalling old front end parts. They aren't at spec anymore so proper torque spec will probably be loose.
I think I’ll stick with the original suspension. Everything works great.
Just make sure you keep your pavement princess on the road then. Your truck has the same clearance as a car. But I guess that doesn't matter if you use your truck like a car!
It lifted it, but in no way did it eliminate the rake.
They should've left the rear at stock level
3” front would have had it pretty leveled or at most 1” block in the back but 2” and it basically looks like stock only higher if that makes sense.
Do not level your Ram 1500’s front suspension with this. It is 100% the wrong way. It pushes the suspension geometry out of whack and sets the CV axles at horrible angles. Do not cheap out. Use Bilstein 5100’s or similar. Bilsteins lift by preloading the OEM spring and your geometry does not change any more than stock because the do not extend the total length of the strut. A byproduct of the Bilsteins is it firms up the ride and gets rid of the junk oem shock and mushy cornering. I have been running them for 4+ years and 65k miles. Using the coil spacers on the rear is fine.
Links?
to start upper control arms needed
I used the 5100 Bilsteins on my new 2022, no more rake, rides great.
Aren't the spacers supposed to be installed in the strut body under the top hat?
The whole thing is wrong even the install backyard mechanics not even giving you any torque specs
It doesn’t eliminate the front end rake if you lift the rear end also! It doesn’t look any different!! Just lifted with the same rake! No thanks👎🏼
Raising the front one inch does not level the truck !!
Wrong
