The first James Bond movie i watch, even though i didn't grew up during Brosnan Era, i grew up with his movies. Kids these days always aaid they grew up with Captain America or Spiderman, but I'm proud to tell. I grew up with James Bond, something that kids can't tell these days.
Was born only a year after Brosnan quit the part, so I’m in the same boat here, but I genuinely love all of his films apart from Die another Day, which I enjoy but Christ is it bad 😂 It’s not just Goldeneye that’s worth talking about, both Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough are really good. Goldeneye is the king though, it’s arguably the best film in the entire series!
Easily one of the best of the series. But seriously, imagine seeing this before the film released and already know about 006’s betrayal.

Oh my gosh dude seriously how would they just do that and reveal one of the most important plot details I'll give you that one for sure.
Even if you hadn't seen the trailer (and I don't think I had in its entirety), chances are you would have seen Sean Bean promote the film on one of those "Royal Premiere" or Bond Aniversary shows...
Watching this in the cinema as a 12, going on 13 year old and seeing Sean Bean getting second billing after he had been shot in the head, I wasn't shocked when he came back later in the film ;-)
Another big clue is, if you watch the title sequence Sean Bean is listed second, right after Pierce's name.
Saw this at the cinema when it came out. The buzz was amazing. People cheered.

I bet people who saw this in the cinema before a movie they went to see back in 1995 were so pumped after this trailer, Bond fans especially. Makes me want to go back to that year just to experience that.
I was one of them...this was beyond exciting...6 year wait and finally! Although the teaser is even better.

It felt like Xmas Mornin'. Been a Bond fan since the beginning and Pierce brought it just like everybody knew he would. With the music, cinematography and fast paced action being so good, when the movie came on l couldn't concentrate for thinking about this.

Imagine if the trailer for The Empire Strikes Back ruined the “I am your father” reveal. That’s basically what happened here!

The trailer doesn't really reveal _how_ he switched from friend to enemy.
This trailer is the entire film in under 3 minutes just muddled up
Like 99 percent of other movie trailers.
And people complain that modern trailers spoil too much, but I think they always have!

Brosnan's BOND is the combination of Moore's Dalton's and Connery's BOND
This probably my #1 Favorite movie of from the 007 franchise. Pierce Brosnan is a GREAT James Bond. I like him even more than Daniel Craig. Anybody who is a Jame Bond fan and has never seen this movie; well then I suggest you give it a shot.
An awesome Bond flick. I get out my DVD and watch a couple times a year.

If you've only seen the trailer then you wonder how and why it happened. So there is some suspense left. And how many "hard-core" 007 fans would be put off by that announcement?

No stupid, it was supposed to be a twist.
The shorter trailer is actually way better. Some text and music, than Brosnan is revealed "You were expecting someone else?" a short montage of action, and then the title. It's a way wayyy better trailer for the film. Trailer #1.
Goldeneye 64 did a phenomenal job of recreating this movie for the game. I wish more games did the same!
There was the James Bond video game , 007 Legends, that involved redoing previous James Bond film plot lines. They recreated the past Bond villains and characters pretty well, such as Hugo Drax, Jaws, Oddjob, etc

I remember going to see this at the cinema when it first came out, great movie, first Bond movie I watched on the big screen.
Brosnan’s best movie.
Now, the entire world is about to be caught in the cross-fire.
This is the film that brought the 007 franchise allure to the GenX era, so it took quite some ingenuity, and Pierce Brosnan did not disappoint! I was a big fan of the video-game adaptation (of the same name/title) of this Bond movie. I also loved the girls in this Bond film. The action and adventure sequences were well-mounted and photographed! Basically, this is a nice film for people curious about exposure to the '007 smart espionage folklore trend.' After all, doesn't James Bond make us more 'fascinated' with political chit-chat? Cheers,

Imagine Timothy Dalton in this Bond. It would probably have made Dalton THE Bond.
I love Pierce, but Dalton would have been exceptional in this film! Still, Pierce is the Bond of the 90’s and in my opinion is extremely overlooked!
@@horrorfanandy4647 I agree. I love Brosnan. He is the 90s/00s-archetype Bond. A classic new, witty, charming interpretation of the rogue Bond of Connery. However, the plot and the dark atmosphere of Goldeneye, would have been a perfect fit for Dalton.

Amazing trailer for even more amazing Bond ;) Apart from Casino Royale (2006) by far the best James Bond in the series :) I hope that Martin Campbell will return to direct at least one more movie for the franchise ;)
A lot of fans want Campbell back for the next Bond film - including me - but the man's in his 80s right now if I recall a remark from a video by Bond RUclipsr Calvin Dyson. That and his career is still smarting from "Green Lantern," directing stuff for streaming services now.

this movie was made in 1995 I love this movie I saw in the collection 007 James Bond movies when I had The World Enough movie on VHS home video but never saw Goldeneye 007 film I only played the game based on the under same name all made in same year and came out in 1997 K saw the movie until 2008 I think.

ignore the BMW's.. but hey they got tortured and cut in half so why do I complain about that. What would be fun is Dan leaves someone eases Pierce out for one single movie for a goof and it's all in good fun. (laughs? where are the laughs in 007 nowadays) nowhere. And Christmas doesn't come once a year I swear. (TWINE) and still can't spell miss squeeze name :)
