I never did grow up in this generation but I really I wished I had simply because the music was so much better back then. Most of my friends that I am friends with have been introduced to this type of music and this is the only sort of music that they listen to as do i. Some people that where at my high school had no idea who these guys where and had no idea or even heard any of these bands names.
Damn this was the lifestyle theme. Lived it and can't believe I survived the 80s. Fast lane 500mph crazy, but would go back in a second to relive some of it.
Dana Strum is so underrated as a bass player. Slaughter wasn't afraid to have the bass "turned up" in their music like other bands of the time...and this anchored the rhythm of their music so well!! Dana is a legend that has been a profound influence of some of the legends of the era...including his former roommate...a young guitar player named Randy Rhoads. Dana Strum is an influential legend for every musician of an entire era of music...and fans just loved the music!!
I remember listening to this song while deployed to the Persian gulf war in 1990/91. My wife sent me a mix tape this was one of my favorites. Music really helped trying not to think about the possibility of getting killed!

Slaughter Up All Night 1990
Slaughter Love The 90's
This is what I'm talking about!!! A perfect example of a kick ass rockin' anthem, to start off a weekend of fun and wild times! Met these guys in '95 after a sold out show in Colorado Springs, Co. They also had a meet & greet after the show, what a cool bunch of guys. Every single one of their albums, blows me away! RIP Tim Kelly
Love this song. I work overnight and sleep during the day. 80's music rocks.

DId that for 10 yrs, called the graveyard for a reason .And yes on the 80s
Everyone keeps saying the 80s but this came out 1990 I remember the summer of 1990 this is what all us kids were listening too I think they were the last hair band to have a top 10 album wasn't long after this the 90s became the 90s there was still the odd hair band hit firehouse extreme made some huge hits in the time um Mr big but in my mind this album marks the end of the greatest Decade in history the 80s
I remember when I first saw this video I was so young, now 39yrs old. I really did stay up all nite to watch this video, lol! I had a curfew and snuck out to watch it in the livin room, haha. I was star struck when I saw this video and remember thinkin to myself this song and video is so cool! And that's when I fell in love with Mark Slaughter, lol! I recognized him from Vinnie Vincent Invasion. How time flys. I loved rockin out to this kind of music when I was younger. Still do. 😍 😘 💖 💞 💋
Yeah me too I'm also 39 times have really changed for the worst.
Vinnie Vincent Invasion was best

Born in 91.. my father was a tour manager for several of these bands from late 70s through early 90s and what I would do to be dropped in LA in 1980 at 20 years old.
I’m 46 and still LOVE my 80’s rock to death!!! Nothing will ever come close. ❤

If they can produce that, I'll vote for them to be king.

this was the 90's the 90's were better years I wonder if we could adjust to no cell phones and internet things went by slower including time. we sure did get old fast after the y2k bug
@@Memnoch67 Well technically, there was an 80's bleedover in the first few years of the 90's.
Damn I miss these days. Oh how I wish I could hit a rewind button and go back😥 Back when life was a little more carefree and MTV actually played videos.... thanks for the memories 80's and 90's🤘
i still get the goosebumps when i hear fly to the angels! one of my favorites from a better time, but it takes me right back to the backseat and 1989. ♥️
My fav tune byh then...talk about mood provoking song. Good stuff and miss those times dearly!
seen Great White and Slaughter in concert last year at the Kentucky State Fair for free. so awesome. loved it.
We saw Slaughter & Warrant. Mark jumped off stage practically on top of me. Got a kiss, you know I hand pinch those hot buns.
That statement would've been so much cooler if this were 1991.
Tharon Turner oh so lucky..!
*JEALOUS*
Tharon Turner are you seeing the next yr at coral fest miami? Im coming all the way from australia for it and morc 🤘🤘🤘
Yes go back in time to the 80's and early 90's..when we had really good music.
I’m a stoned time traveler from 2364 and I can confirm we are still rocking to this song.
Wow people in the future have great taste in music.

So glad I Igrew with this music. Truly a blessing 🎉
2017 and I'm listening to Slaughter to start my day. Life is good
Seriously. this was the greatest time of the U.S.A. After this era, it all went downhill, sadly. And the music.
amen to that
Achilles Alexander well said my friend!
I think every era will say that about the music. I was born in 81 so I feel the same way about the 90s
Get a life.
Achilles Alexander yeah after the very early 90s country pretty much went to s*** for middle class
And when morning comes
Up all night, sleep all day
Up all night, sleep all day
When evening comes, I am alive
I love to prowl around in the streets
It's the moonlight, that controls my mind
Now I've got the power to speak, yeah
(Awake from dusk to dawn)
Watching the city lights
(Stars are shining down)
They'll be shining down on you and I
(And when the morning comes)
And I'll hold you till the morning light
Everybody sing it now
Up all night, sleep all day
Up all night, sleep all day
That's right
Driving down the boulevard, all alone
The neon signs are calling your name
Find me in the corner
Having the time of my life
You'd think you'd wanna do the same
(Awake from dusk to dawn)
Watching the city lights
(Stars are shining down)
They'll be shining down on you and I
(And when the morning comes)
And I'll hold you till the morning light
Everybody sing it now
Up all night, sleep all day
Up all night, sleep all day
That's right
Up all night, sleep all day
Come on, come on
Up all night
Ah, maybe we can just stay up
Twenty four hours a day
Yeah!
(Awake from dusk to dawn)
Watching the city lights
(Stars are shining down)
They'll be shining down on you and I
(And when the morning comes)
And I'll hold you till the morning light
Everybody sing it now
Up all night, sleep all day
Up all night, sleep all day
Come on, come on
Up all night, sleep all day
That's right
Up all night, sleep all day
Up all night
(Land where my fathers died)
(Land of the pilgrims' pride)
(From every mountainside)
(Let freedom ring)

Be in a coma.or be dead...let your soul spirit roam the universe.
SNES Drunk in the house!
Just saw Slaughter preform at the iconic Rainbow Bar and Grill! Homebase to all rock and roll on the Sunset Strip!! The entire band sounds f***ing amazing! Mark Slaughter's voice is one of those unforgettable ones!! Great show!! 🤘
The 80's were what Rock and Roll was all about, Loud, Outrageous, Over the Top, Extreme Excess and Overindgence to the Max. The drugs were good and plentiful, woman were hotter the music was WAAAAY better and for the first half of that decade there wasn't any cRap or Hip-hop, sadly 😥😥 there will never be another time like the 80's.
the dead of music really played on stage , only suspect dancers with toys instruments.
There wasn’t any hip hop in the early 80s? Then what were we all breakdancing to in 1981?
Real women. No Kardashian asses. 80s women were awesome!!!!
Are you kidding me? Mark Slaughter is one of the funniest dudes in the history of what is left of rock and roll" I want to bring them good times back!
3:13 and 3:15 is what you came for.
Hell yeah!
Literally and physically.
absolutely
Damn skippy!!!!!
More like 0:55 1:14 and 3:26 😉
Have their autographs...Tims too❤Miss the 80's. Greatest decade ever!
yes I miss the 80's too. best time of my life. never slept, just party until the sun came up.
The 80s was the best music. They don't sing like this no more. Everyone sounds alike these days. I loved unique voices.
Really? Musta been an off night cause I just saw them in a tiny venue two weeks ago and they blew the room apart. Mark Slaughter sounds freaking incredible. Dana Strom played like he was playing for an arena. Didn’t know the other guitarist but he was also great. The drummer…well, can’t have it all. Overall they were great
Still listening to this song 🎧. At 67, sounds good going down the highway on the Harley
Everybody young and old should listen to this awesome music!
You got that right. All ages should appreciate the great 80s bands.
Love my brother Tim Kelly.. this was a dream.. Timmy and the boy's reached the top. his vibrato was and playing was heavy. He was my brother in high school we lived for music ..
Mark and the group make the 1980s so fun. Man, the positive vibe of this music still rings true today. Hell yes

@@missdarlene7 you're welcome. And Blas Elias was and still is insanely hot 🤘😁
I work nights so I can sure relate to this song. It's always been one of my favorites. The beginning gets me every time.
Born in 82. I remember hearing this song and Fly to the Angels playing at night on my Sony Dream Machine Alarm/Clock/Radio when I was like 9 years old. I would always crank it. Great songs. Where does the time go??
Glad I was a teenager when this song came out! The best decade of my life!
So good. So fun. Reminds me of much better days. Love it!! 🤘🤘
Rest in peace Tim Kelly
Ilovehiscrazydance
Damn 80's women were so hot!
Yes we were and still are.
Those are dudes. :D
Real boobs & no disgusting tattoos like today's skanky women.
So was Mark Slaughter
A vídeo like that probably will be banned... the lady is dressing a strange panties in 1:32....
HELL YEAH!!! I REMEMBER THESE TUNES WHEN I GOT STATIONED IN FRANKFURT GERMANY IN 1989!!! ROCKIN' THEN AND EVEN MORE SO NOW!!
I’m 27 years old and this song is the awesome
Amazing song and video , my favorite one of Slaughters, Up all Night, ❤️💕
He’s the cutest singer in the rock era. Love that button nose!
I thought it was a woman at first...
Just love this song and video .Grew up loving this band .❤
I am 52 and I still listen to music from 70/80 and I saw them in concert here in Baltimore city
This needs a volume increase. I used to rock to this, on AM 1550 WOKJ (Jackson, MS)
when I was little I used to think this was the most badass rock 'n roll song of all time, I remember I would give anything to hear this song because it totally kicked ass.
33 yrs old still jamming this\,,/ Thanks to my folks for introducing me to some rockin jamz growing up. NOW my 12 & 7 yr old sing along to these classic hits 🖤 \☠/
Who else was that kid blasting this jam ln his room and playing along with it on his guitar. Ohhh man..I miss those days
Man what I wouldn't give to go back to this era
I never did grow up in this generation but I really I wished I had simply because the music was so much better back then. Most of my friends that I am friends with have been introduced to this type of music and this is the only sort of music that they listen to as do i. Some people that where at my high school had no idea who these guys where and had no idea or even heard any of these bands names.
I grew up watching MTV in the 1980s best decade in music.
Whose rocking out to Slaughter in 2022 - just us or do you also have it cranked to 10????? Mark has that amazing voice.
Man I grew on this stuff. Slaughter ,poison
Damn this was the lifestyle theme. Lived it and can't believe I survived the 80s. Fast lane 500mph crazy, but would go back in a second to relive some of it.
Me too
Dana Strum is so underrated as a bass player.
