Iconic Everything: Iconic Song, Iconic Singer, Iconic Era. America's Golden Era. Timeless.
Dean's voice and style were wonderful!
No one came near.
Amazing! I bet all the women in the audience fell in love with him during that song, if they weren't already!
No remixes, no mess, just pure gold. I wish I grow to be the men Dean James and Frank Sinatra were. Legends.
how can you not smile looking at and hearing this man sing...!
OMG ! Just found this.....what a treasure
Stupendous. Lovely song , beautifully sung by none other than Dean Martin. It won the Oscar
What a great singer!! It takes me back just to hear it. What a better time this was, I miss these wonderful times.
WHAT A MAGICAL VOICE AND OH LOOKS TO DIE FOR! I LOVE DEAN MARTIN!
So Do I Dean's Voice is Sheer Magic
What a voice! What a song! I was so little when this song was sung, by the great singers of that time. My parents always played these beautiful songs and im so thankful to them for bringing such ageless and wonderful melodies in our lives.
Mine too!! My mom used to sing this song all the time when I was younger. She died this pass July.
Yes, I was only little as well, and my eldest sister use to sing it.we use to laugh. Now hearing it,brought tears to my eyes. Dean can sing, wow.🤗🇿🇦
I broke out in a big smile just now listening to Dean, my heart floated , how I miss him
first time i,ve heard dean sing this song...and i thought i,d heard them all ..beautiful and thank you
Loved his voice!!!i always heard his songs when growing up!!! My patents loved him also
Oscars ceremonies were far way better those days!!
Dean is an absolute treasure
I love the gesture of greeting that Dean makes to Jerry and especially how he smiles at him before starting to sing
Wonderful just wonderful song by Dean I know it's a Sinatra song but I prefer Dean version of it!!!!
As history would show Dean singing this song was prefect choice. They became like brothers and at this time Dean was still with Jerry . Also it would become Frank who would bring 2 friends back together after 20 years. Just amazing how things seem to make a full circle. Loved Dean singing this song.
Also loved how Dean weave to his partner and for a few seconds kept looking toward Jerry for whatever reason but with a smile
Martin had the better instrument. He did a beautiful job with this song.
Frank was good but dean was perfection, no.one can change my mind I know that frank thought he was Gods gift to the world but it was dean
@@RitaMalikfour The irony of your use of the phrase "God's gift" is that Dean had the far superior instrument, his God-given voice. He was a natural. Sinatra was a meticulous technician (even though he frequently went a little flat).
@@hijodelaisla275 God Created the heavens and the earth and man nothing can be without thanking our creator from or the blessings of Life and being saved by Jesus so we can continue after we die, I, myself give All glory to God for without him nothing could be, it’s my heart that tells me this and I wasn’t forcing anyone since we all have free will to decide for themselves, I’m not pushing God on anyone, I was saying (commenting ) on what was in my heart not expecting anyone to believe in my beliefs ,
I love how Dean waves at Jerry in the beginning!
And how he smiles at him before he starts singing :-)
Waving goodbye.
This was a Frank sinatra song and Dean was a close friend of Frank even back then. Must of bought Frank a lot of joy sharing this song and this moment with his dear friend Dean.
I just miss the good old days.
I love where Dean waves to Jerry. SO CUTE!!!
Thats one of my favorites Dean Martin
I never heard this by Dean it is sensational I love it ! Thank you so much for posting it
Dino´s always perfect and Jerry´s the funniest man in the world. I love them.
wow! just BEAUTIFUL!
He was so handsome and had beautiful voice - Italian beefcake.
An object lesson in style and delivery.
I'd throw 3 coins in the Trevi Fountain to get a date with Dean Martin !!
I WOULD JUMP IN THE FOUNTAIN!
Jeani. A gagne'. Sur. Toutes. Les. Femmes rip ⭐😍😘😇💕👍👏👏💙💚💓💗😇😍
Toujours cette voix douce et mélodieuse Dean inimitable sera toujours le plus grand merci mille fois rip cher Dean
I LOVE DEAN MARTIN ♥ ❤ 💕 😍 💙 💓
Sung Beautifully by Dino. Thanks for the video clip!
I have Always Loved Dean Martin's version of this Classic song from the film of same title. I first heard it 2-3 years ago, when it was posted in a Dino group. I shared it several times and was so thrilled when FINALLY I got my good friend Bill Bennett (artist in South Wales, UK), to record it 2 years ago. I Love this...What a song...Dino voice is unbelievable everytime! Thank you!
Wow !! They were still partners ...they were so young and I was younger !
Jer and Dino!!! beautiful!!! I love them.
3 of the best entertainers ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you youtube. I wasn't even an egg on this time. I was just a busy molecule swimming inside my dad. But because of youtube I got the privilege to listen such beautiful music. thank you for posting!
Dean Martin~
To know him is to love him.
March 2024.
I LOVE THIS SINGER
This was the first Oscars Show I ever saw. I was 8 years old.
FRANK MADE THIS A BIG HIT BUT DEAN SINGS IT GREAT JUST LIKE EVERYTHING HE SANG
YH REALLY DONT LIE THATS REALLY COOL
And it won the Academy award for best original song. Written for the movie of same name.
Great Song by a Great Artist!! :)))
What a performance
Lovely .
true freaking talent!
Bring back memories my uncle tony who past away love these songs RIP Tony stacey.
Dean forever
Maravilhosa melodia. É " Galã "!
que relajante es escuchar a Dino!!!
Deano, posterboy for so many romantic Italian American films. Kept the notion of romantic love burning bright for many downtrodden and dissatisfied women of that era. Even unto the next generation!
Thanks a lot
When he actually sang he did have a great voice. I especially liked it when he sang as himself - not trying to immitate another singer
Magnifique. Chanson. Bravo.
💋😇👍👏💖💗💙💚💓💗💕😍
Paul Newman,Bob Hope & Dean--all from Ohio...
Love Dino!!!
Quando ouço essa música só lembro de uma pessoa: SINATRA.
My mind went back a long long way....
Three FACTS in the fountain.
1- Beautiful song, beautifully sung by super talented Mr Dean martin.
2- He was probably hammered while singing. Which only shows how incredibly talented he was.
3- Him and Jelly Lewis hated the site of each other.
True tallent
The person who introduces the song is not always the one who gets to sing it at the Oscars. For instance, in 1993, "A Wink and a Smile" from 'Sleepless in Seattle' was performed by Oscar-winner Keith Carradine ("I'm Easy") rather than Harry Connick, Jr., who had recorded it for the movie soundtrack.
FLINTSTONES! MEET THE FLINTSTONES
America went from this to Cardi B.
Mr. Cool!😎😎😎
well done again dino lad!!
i agree x
PT&A brought me here as it did you.
he have a funny voice!
66 years Ago this is 2021....
his wife had every thing .very lucky woman .
Frank Sinatra hosted the oscars in 1963. Do you have when he opened and sang luck be a lady?
Unique
Flinstones meet the Flinstones!! they are...
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Great singing of a great song, but two questions:: Why didn't Frank Sinatra sing it and why didn't Dean ever record Three Coins in the Fountain?
I enjoy Sinatra’s version, but this is my favorite.
steve martin brought me here
Franco Sinatra, Dino Crocetti ,Piero Como.
Does Rosemary Clooney’s Oscar performance from 1955 exist?
DER GRÖßTE
Where did you get the footage?
I have the complete Oscar show from that year.
get it up here don't keep it for yourself.
I always wonder which show it was that dean and Jeannie locked eyes for the first time, do you have that info???
In 1947 Jeanne went too see the Martin and Lewis New Year's Eve show at the Beachcomber Club in Miami Beach, Florida. Jeanne saw Dean on stage. They locked eyes and it was love at first sight for both of them.
@@christophersansone2755 thank you, goona try to find that show, right now prime has a series of Martin and Lewis shows, gonna try
@@christophersansone2755 It was 1948. Anyway he cheated on his pregnant wife, and left his young children to be with her. I say this as a fan of Dean Martin. Not a fan of Jeanne at all.
@@Kathom34 He was a grown man. The woman always gets blamed.
@@zeldasmith6154 No don't make this a man/woman thing. She was intentionally deceitful to get him to marry her, which happens to this day with fake pregnancies.
FLINTSTONES...
MEET THE FLINTSTONES
Great Song , glad Jerry didn't sing it , way to go Dean
1:40-1:41 is the almost spooky Elvis moment.
FLINTSTONES MEET THE FLINTSTONES
Back when one WANTED to watch the Oscars. No politics or SJW BS.
WHAT THE FUCK DOES A DEAN MARTIN SONG HAVE TO DO WITH THE FLINTSTONES?
whatever man. this performance is awesome!
How Bob Hope backs off from Lewis to avoid a possible repeat of the Bing Crosby fiasco when Jerry went comedically for Bing"s hair piece.
Search for 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles bus scene'. It will make sense then.
gosto
my chılhjood hero...where are you...a velvet voıce lıke FRANK AND ME
EN GAMMAL FIN LÅT
Great song, but in my opinion, The Man That Got Away should've won Best Original Song that year.
Way back when before politics and ego destroyed the Oscars.
Dean almost seems to have a couple of Elvis moments there, especially in his sly grin.
Difficult to say.Sinatra's pace was faster Dean Martin more relaxed 😊
Dean did it better!!!🥰🥰🥰
I'm a big Dino fan, but i'll take the Ames Brothers version. This just didn't seem in proper rhythm.
