I picked up a few of the Loopwheel Tubular Athletic Tees and I've really liked mine. You're absolutely right about the tags. The care tag on all 3 of mine are obstinately pointing toward the floor and fraying at the seam. I'm probably going to cut them all off. I don't mind the paper tag on the neck at all though and personally find the lack of a tape across the shoulders to be a plus as I don't like the way they look.
I assume you're referring to the loopwheel tubular t shirt? The sleeves are shorter and slimmer, and the fabric gets slightly softer over time (while the Uniqlo U doesn't). But I wouldn't say they're comparable tees in terms of what each of them are going for. Really comes down to what you prefer in terms of fit, fabric and style.
I immediately bought all 3 available colours for of the athletic t shirts right after watching your review, especially when it says only 2 left for the white one. sadly I was too late to get the grey one since right now my priority is to buy a great quality grey t shirt.. if you are into t shirts please review more t shirts haha

I asked her to check if I could cancel the order for one of the colours (apricot) bcs I had might bought it out of impulse buying, which she was more happy to do so. then I asked her when they were going to restock the grey colour, n she said end of this month. she also offered to send my black n white t shirts first n the grey one later, without me having to pay for shipping twice, which is unheard of, n I happily agreed. then suddenly she told me that they actually just restocked the grey one but maybe haven't been available online due to backend stuff. so now they are going to ship out all 3 colours that I want. n the customer service staff is the best one I have had encountered all my life so far. she communicates as if she's the owner of the company. she just converted me into a fan!

All the measurements were perfect for me (size S) -- and it fit perfectly -- apart from finding it too tight under the arms. Do you think the tubular Non Stock 9oz tubular (no gusset) tee would have larger armholes? Thanks!

You flatter me :), imo tape goes better on heavier weight tees, for lighter tees it's ok without it

Thanks! Yeap it has slightly larger armholes. It's generally larger in every measurement compared to the other tees.
