how big is it?
Ok so i've heard every song once so far from the EP and I've got to say, this is a sound i've never heard before. It's hip hop instrumentals with the progressive technical guitar work that i grew to love playing scales and melodies from hip hop choruses.
I'm really digging how bands are starting to branch out and experiment with different sounds such as this. Brings unique influences and potential all around. I'm going through a big shift in life right now and this EP will probably be my anthem to summer 2017. Thank you!!
Hansol never heard before except for the chon album that came out a month earlier
I wish their guitar technique would be more varied. They have the same sound from album to album, I wish they would've picked up more metal technique from JR on the recent tour they were on. I'd like to hear more evolved guitar tones and techniques from them. THey're still some of the best technicians in the genre though!
Hansol it's probably because Ty Acord produced the album and he has a well established sound of his own in hip hop/ electronic, considering his contribution to Issues music is completely outstanding. He's perfect for Polyphia's latest vision of music. So glad they collaborated. Such talented dudes.

I actually really dig the electronic implementation. Better than any of your previous releases in my humble opinion. Smart marketing move calling it The Most Hated in anticipation of previous fans getting all pissed off you stopped djenting. So long as you shred and keep it creative, I'm happy as a fan.

Some amazing guitarists sound like they're wrecking their guitars with monster shreds, Tim Henson make it sounds like he's making the smoothest love to it that anyone has dared to do.
Look up Michael Hedges--he does this for acoustic guitar. It's a shame he's super dead, but he was freaking amazing.

I’ve been playing guitar for about 13 years self taught and all. I recently discovered Polyphia. New levels new devils and some of these songs or most from this EP really represent what I’ve been wanting to do on guitar. Mixing beats and hip hop with advanced shredding techniques. I’m glad they made this, I’ll be working I what exactly they do to make my own versions. POLYPHIA IS NOW A GENRE!!!!

I love that they make the hook easy to play so you notice it with its simplicity, while the "verses" are so unbelievably insane that you just overlook them because you know they're practically impossible to play. Try to bang them out and put the song at half speed. I bet you all the money I have that you'll give up in 10 minutes of just looking at the intro. Love you, Polyphia.

I've settled with just learning a riff from each song I like. The intro to Goose, the riff in this song, Scott's outro riff in Icronic etc,
So many nice riffs you can choose from, and they're essentially like learning a normal song each.

Guys i think I listened to this song like 1 million times and played it by myself like 5 thousand, honestly for me this is THE song, it's just too beautiful, sometimes when i play the first verse of it i just get stuck in a loop and i could go on forever, IT'S JUST PERFECT, AND MAN THE ENDING PART GOES HARD AF.

I keep coming back to this song, and I always get chills. Crazy how my favorite song is on The Most Hated EP, and in my opinion the best song is The Worst. I love Polyphia so fucking much!
So Hendrix, yet so unique. These guys actually created something new.
What can I say. This is the ultimate hype track of all time. The way it builds slowly and then drops into the final solo prepares me to enter into hand to hand combat with a fully grown male gorilla. I'm so thankful to be alive at the same time as these guys.

I heard people say that they chose to use that as the title of the song and EP respectively because this is where they deviated from their usual djent/prog style and added a bunch of hip hop influences. They thought a lot of djent/prog purists would be upset so they chose to call it that.

This song to me is the soundtrack of someone who was mistreated somewhere, so they left and bettered themselves beyond what they thought was possible.

I created a character based on Polyphia and I wrote his death while listening to The Most Hated, specifically this song. The scene that plays in my mind when I imagine his end and spent time writing about it can't be replayed in my head or read without this song in the background. It just fit so well.

Seeing myself scared of changes helps me evolve and i like this feeling, this were hard to listen to at first, due to being habituated (can you say habituated? ahahah) to the old sound, but just kept on listening and final word is that i dig this album, good work as usual!

their old sound is what got me into them just like everyone else, but honestly this is so unlike anything I've heard from bands like Polyphia and it's so cool to see them make this blend work and make it their own.

FR this is an amazing song it's bizarre how underrated it is. You can tell they all got the feel with this song when playing it. They all must've enjoyed making this. Everything goes so well in it. (or well at least, I hope all the instruments in this and such are played by the original band members, the drums could be sampled from an external source that isn't polyphia but I doubt it)
