People get burnt out trying to write the same thing every album, and I'm sure they're having a lot of fun trying out some new stuff with the electronic sounds and drum triggers. If you look at any good musician you should see a change in sound for every album. Being diverse just means you are better. EVEN if it is electronic.

But I really can't predict what a new song of polyphia is going to sound like. They should be inducted into the rock n roll Hall of Fame for being so original Edit: after 5 years, my opinions have definitely changed a lot. I'm typically pretty good at guessing where a song plans to go, such as how a melody for the chorus will be, when the beat drops, etc. But with Polyphia, it's literally impossible. Not only because they consistently switch it up so often that you can't tell, but also because my jaw hits the floor so hard that I get distracted by how good the music is.

It's a very melancholic song just like the other song in same album called The Worst.
After giving the EP a couple listens I'm definitely catching on to the electronic vibe. People have been asking who you guys are in the car too and really seem to fuck with how the music is more dancey and electronic but still appreciate the mad guitar riffs and skill. I'm 1000% down for this style and am interested in seeing your music evolve!!
