Yup Nick, S23+ price here in Malaysia is just slightly higher than NP2. Such a dilemma for me coming from Oxygen OS & currently still OP7 user. I do love what the Nothing OS offers but with the small price difference, I just might go for S23+ and regret later. 😅😅
@@RK-tv1zo its not that, the top bezel is still really thin and not curved, the bottom one is atleast not as large as on the s22 ultra(which literally used the exact same body as the note 20 ultra)
More like Lagsung. The moment you start opening a few apps quick, the animations start to lag and stutter and sometimes there is also a delay when tapping to open an app. I'm never buying a Samsung again. When it comes to Android, Nothing and Xiaomi are the best options. But they really need to improve on their cameras because they are lacking especially Xiaomi. 1080p 30fps front video in a flagship 2023 phone? Pathetic.
😂 So you to beat 550$ nothing phone Samsung needs 1200$ Flagship phone😂 .... it's proof Nothing is far better than Hangsum 😂 I mean samsung the lag king
When was that then? I would have thought all the screen issue is what people who have remembered That's the last thing I remembered as I repacked it for returning. That phone could have starred in Poltergeist
Actually in everyday use the animation matters a lot, I only realised this after using my friend's iphone , I have s23. Even with 60hz iphone is so smooth like butter. Samsung have glitches here and there. And animations are bad even when compared to stock Android
something I have realised with my Galaxy S21+ is that using the Camera always heats up the phone quite a bit and usually clears most apps out of RAM. I don't know what's going on with samsungs optimisation here
I had s21+ exynos variant, that does happen to me always. I went on a concert and record video alot. My ohone heats up so bad and drained my battery from 100-20% in just 1hr/ 30 mins. Thats why i traded in my s21+ to regular s23.
Have you noticed the banana blur on camera? People complain about this problem on 23 and s23plus. That's why I want to get ultra but hate curved screen

the samsung takes long to restart because theres is a google play system update and its installing that. so thats why it says "optimizong apps". replay if you read that pls.
I think Samsung's problem is One UI. It's a lor already on top of stock android and the preinstalled apps and all that. It really is a lot more to boot up rather than Nothing OS. It's not much in stock android
I watched you lot of time and I saw your comparison nick but your kinda apple boy because your always trying stay side with apple while there's no difference no performance issues in Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra or in iPhone 14 pro Samsung is incredibly upgrade and World most powerful and smooth experience phone ever and zero lag in one UI operating system instead of lagging it's like a iPhone with just a new operating system Samsung Galaxy s23 series UI experience is very familiar to iPhone Im using both phones there's no lagg between iphone 14 pro and Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra I kinda disagree with you that Samsung Galaxy s23 series is not smooth tht not the truth at all
He's obviously paid, thus is why I watch these videos for pure entertainment value only. Notice his takes when it comes to Samsung. I've had numerous phones, with the nothing phone being one of them and the nothing sits in a drawer collecting dust. My advice is buy what you like that fits in your budget. In 2023, cellphones have reached their peak. Sadly, It's all about camera hardware in combination with software while the actual phone being the same year in and out.

Hello, I think that they are preparing for one ui 6, so they actually can not concentrate about one ui 5. I think all the issues will be repaired on one ui 6, I am almost sure.
Samsung just cant seem to get the UI, animations and ram management right until today. Yes they have a ton of features but lets face it, how many times do we actually use those features.
Samsung flagship phones are laggy, just like budget phones. It's because of heavy one ui. Two things I miss from Sony Xperia 5 iii are smooth animations and an sd card slot. Everything is fine on my S23U except laggy animations and camera shutter speed.
It has to be the update.... i recently watched a video for note10+ and it didn't reload any of the 20 apps/games that guy opened Even my a32 doesn't reload so much
These GeeckBunch tests seemed lke just on paper ,However, the NP2 beat the S23 plus with no brainer !, That was pretty obvious in terms performance ,lunching & reloading apps , etc!!
when there is a slight edge with S23+, he says it's the same. but when it's a slight edge with Phone 2, he says Phone 2 loads faster. LOL. obvious total bias.
Brothers, what do you think of a phone like an iPhone 14 pro max design with raw Android, 7125 mAh battery, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, but without a camera, and its price is $350?
12gb of ram and reloading? The nothing is clearly running on zero Animations as my nothing doesn't look like this on 0.5x 20 apps on a 8 gb device will see reloads, but its funny how apps relaunched the second time around didnt reload. Edits you always wonder why.
Yes, on my S23U I do this test and sometimes when I go back to the apps they appear to still be there, yet when I do it a second time, many reload, as if the first time they were just placeholders! I think the inconsistency is the problem with RAM management.
I wonder how many people buy a phone based on speed tests. Sure the Nothing Phone 2 is great and I'd love to have purchased it but the absence of a telephoto lens and choppy selfie video turned me off. S23 for the win.
I wonder why people ask questions like these after going to a video like this. You went to this video to see which of the two was the faster phone, right?? If not, what else?

I’m surprised by the difference in display color. Is it just brightness, or is one warmer than the other?
Android phones have multiple display profiles in the settings.
