This is a good guide, but I think you could’ve gone into more depth with breegul blaster since it has way more uses then just getting people into platforms. It’s actually one of banjos best combo starters and has some tech that can get it to set up a kill confirm with smash attacks, fair, or wonderwing. But I guess that could be a whole separate guide 😅. Good video Bae.

Overall a solid guide. As a banjo main I think you missed a huge opportunity showcasing the versatility of Bregal blaster.
Juggle combos, uptilt confirm, and turnaround cancel just to name a few.

This style of guide comes very close to Izaw's Art of series. Amazing work.
I always main Lucas and recently co maining Banjo/Kazooie as they're really good at controlling most opponents. Love the arrials too, they can catch opponents when least expected, so as long as you dont telegraph your moves which is basically a must if you wanna win with any character.
This was EXCELLENT. I really hope you branch out to other characters... this type of quality content is sorely needed. Please consider doing one for Mega Man

you can also jump and down b (b reverse) in a specific timing so you shift momentum, so you jump backwards one way and then down b momentum shift so you have now thrown out the egg in the direction you were facing when jump backwards and you also move in the same direction as the egg although jumping the other way and you can z catch if done correctly. its a very good mi-xup but I am still learning to do it consistently
I want to make an addition to the up throw.
There is combo potential.
Up throw, grenegg and then whatever combo you want.
I like, Up throw, grenegg, nair, then (front) side air.
You have to time the grenegg. You up throw and wait to get them as they come down.

At low percentage backtrow does combo into side-special, doing a considerable amount of damage in the process
As a banjo main, I think this is a great in depth guide to get started. I don't think banjo is super good. But he is decent. He has a lot of tricks if you are willing to put the time into him. I'm way more aggressive, I don't use neutral b too often except in specific situations, I rely more on grenade setups. Like for example, I would shoot the grenade towards the opponent, as it approaches opponent so do I. I either go for grabs, ftilt, or fair since they are decent return moves. And if they roll past the grenade I can ftilt them into it around 30, and then combo into wonder wing or fair. It's very strong, but it's hard to always be aware of your opponent.
Nonetheless that's how I play, and I'ma start using dtilt more, had no idea it could be such a great 2 frame option. I just don't like it in neutral too often because of the slight lag it has vs ftilt. Thanks
Banjo is decent and causes too much work
B-K seem to have at least two options that can be used to finish the opponent's last stock offstage if B-K have a stock advantage, e.g. dair, side B

you can also hit opponents hanging on the ledge with fair but the timing is very precise

Is it wrong that I think Banjo's moveset could've been better? I mean I love Banjo and I'm glad he's in Smash, but it feels like there could've been much more to be done with them...

@Tre, Me and you both. Banjo-Kazooie being in Super Smash Bros Ultimate and in the series period has broken barriers that was seen as impossible to break. They're also the best characters in the game, regardless of what anyone else says otherwise, and Conker being in the game would be icing on the cake.

I find BK tough to use because my gameplan is pretty much just to nickel and dime my opponent up to like 150% then find a counter-hit Wonder Wing. Playing from behind becomes nearly impossible.

What's up with the true and not true things in the right corner
"True combo." Just in case you aren't aware, if two moves hit the opponent before they can act out of it, it means it's a "true combo." When it says "Not true" that just means the opponent can move out of the combo, even if the timing is tight. Hope this shed some light! Maybe check out Esam's Pikachu if you haven't already, thats a good example of a combo character
