Classic+ in my mind was filling in the voids left behind in the vanilla era for example: Uldum and the continuation of the platinum disks quest line or building on the chained essence of enranikus quest chains. The unused raid portal underwater in feralas, the raid portals in hyjal , Mauradon's centaur and Therazane storyline etc. The roadmap is basically in game already. Class changes? Rune system? leveling new toons all the time? I didnt have that in mind for classic+. Kara crypts was PERFECT. Everything else kinda lost me. It really does not need to be over complicated

Blizzard is communicating that they don't want to make this retail - they want to keep the classic feeling. but that means nothing to you. at least hear them out and shit on it when it's out...
nah this is Classic X , much more than we ever asked for. Whatever you had in mind, is not what most of us had in mind. If you ask 100 people to explain Classic + youll get 100 different answers. It was never going to be ideal as its not tailored for 1 person. You either have fun with it, or move along .

Pacing and humility will be key. If people feel like they are stagnant for too long, you'll see SoD lose a lot of moment and with it development motivation. If the classic devs dig their heels in on changes they have made that have poor reception then the community is going to start feeling like they are being ignored.

We asked for Classic+ but we got Retail- Season of Discovery is NOT Classic+ it's a beta för C+. Yes some parts were good, that we did ask for, shamans and palas being able to properly tank, Scarlet raid, Kara crypt and such. But we did NOT ask for mage healers, rogue/lock tanks, atleast not in mass. Not even Retail got it this bad. And Retail ruined class identity long ago. Where most classes got a self heal, stun, knockback etc. SoD will break rules that have existed for 19 years. Classic+ was to extend the world of Vanilla, not to just reuse it. This guy, Staysafe, Esfand, Asmongold & more same concerns. SoD is basically an experimental precursor for a classic+. Blizz dunno what classic+ should be so they're gonna experiment and let feedback guide the way for future real classic+ content. They are borderline creatively bankrupt at this point so they throw anything in there and check was sticks and "Discover" it. I hope we get a proper Classic+ in next Blizzcon. ALL they needed to do was to tweak or some under the hood class changes, not break em into other class roles on that subject. But many screams "hype" without a single thought or critical thinking (constructive critisism). I share my honest opinions here and know a lot more then me got same concerns. To those who might reply "I'm hateful" or w/e, already got that, kek , just don't. It's called being passionated so it won't turn into a slipperly slope fiasco. It was because of peoples passion (like mine) and the private servers that we got Classic in 2019 to begin with. Has nothing to do with "well ps are not legal" that's not the point! There was a recent poll actually showing how divided opinion is on multiple aspects of Classic+. It's a version of Classic+ that most of us who have only been playing Vanilla did not want. That being said, I'll try it knowing that there is a 87% chance that I'll be disappointed.
A casual player trying to find pugs is going to be able to get top gear? Are there good PvP gear or top stuff that is all from 10M PVE raids? Look fun, but if casual players are going to be canon fodder, I'm just going to stick to playing retail.
@@ericsilva7430 It's not LFR if that's what you are asking, but it's not mythic either. I suspect that you won't need to be too hardcore for the BFD 10man raid at level 25, since there isn't that much tiered progression into it.

There may be a Season of Discovery Hardcore mode in the future, but not for the time being. And you can keep playing them separately.

They should have added dwarf shaman and paladin tauren additionaly no healing power but spell power could be nice.
