As a commercial hvac tech i absolutely love watching these videos man. Alot of relatable situations ive been in during my career and i must say these are pure gold. You sir are a fantastic tech and helping alot of other techs that are learning. After all, we never stop learning i dont care how long weve been doing this trade. Rock on
Dont be leaving that shiny new socket set behind, we may have to dock your pay if that keeps happening! Thats all of $40 dollars at Harbor Freight unless you have a coupon! Its a beautiful thing!
I love watching the tight space stuff. The opposite of my time in TX. Texas: The condenser is on the roof, about 800 yards from the roof access. NYC: We'll put that sh*t in whatever hole we have left! 🤣
Facts. Bad placement but there's not much space to work with in this entire building. They couldov atleast moved it up a few inches to get some space. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
The 2 Motors don't get wired the same because one of them doesn't always run ( like when its very cold out, one of them is a control wire instead of 24/7 power) . It's likely wired through that White Rodgers T-stat. It's a bit boot leg, it would be better off w/ a head pressure control valve or fan cycle control but its not that uncommon with equipment of that ERA. Keep on Jumping Jumper man!
You are correct. One motor runs 24/7 and the other with thay white Roger's thermostat based off ambient temperature. Not an accurate way of operating. I agree with you regarding the system cycling the fan based of head pressure 💯 haha I will! Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️
Love your videos thanks for posting them. I’ve been doing the exact same work for the last 20 years ( since I was 17) ( Also in the NYC Westchester area) SERVICE HEAVY LOL. I took over my fathers small service company and run it now. Me and my 4 year old son love watching your videos I hope he and my other son ( his 2 year old bother ) get into the business with me, great trade love it !
@robfederico2133 Really appreciate that 🙏 That's awesome. Glad you & your son like to watch my videos. One day your boys will take over & live a good life. Hvac is a hard job but it's very rewarding. Glad you love it too. So do I but it's a love/hate relationship at times 😂 Thanks for watching/commenting & stay tuned for new videos every week🤙🔧⚡️
@@JumpermanTech Man you ain't kidding! My hairline took a beating ( lmao) I spent many a year banging my head against the wall trying to diagnosis these machines. The trade is very hard and complex. To succeed you have to be extremely clever and smart, at the same time limber and nimble squeezing up and in all these weird spots where these builders stick stuff. But there is something fun about creeping around these roofs, machines rooms, kitchens etc. Theres not a lot of eyeballs on you usually ( especially in the commercial sphere). When you're good you're very free.
those wires are going to rub out quickly the way you have it, you have to put the zip tie through the frame then anotherzip tie to go through it that holds the wires so the wires dont touch the metal.
Haha, I hear that! I have worked on one a long time ago. It was a pain. I always end up in tight situations, so I'm kind of used to it unfortunately 😂 Thanks for watching & commenting! 🔧⚡️

Thank you! Need to work with what you have. Would have to do a whole electrical job to do this all properly from scratch. Thanks for watching! 🔧⚡️

Who suggested to install an air cooled unit in such a tight space..?? How do you avoid high head pressure condition ??

Probably get a water hose and spray it in the summer time😂😂

Don't ever take a fridge job on a yacht or sailing boat. if you think thats tight , you simply have no idea of what tight actually is.. 😂
